• Configuring Team City internal.properties to increase git fetch memory

  When pulling from GIT my Team City install is getting an out of memory error. According to the Team City documentation I should be able to increase the memory assigned to the git fetch process, by setting the value for teamcity.git.fetch.process.max.memory to something greater than the default 512MB. http://confluence.jetbrains.net/display/TCD65/Git+%28JetBrains%29#Git%28JetBrains%29-InternalProperties Problem is there does not appear to be an internal.properties file in the location specified. I have tried creating one in the TeamCity/conf/internal.properties as suggested here: http://devnet.jetbrains.net/thread/302596 But I still get the out of memory issue when Team City tries to pull from github thx

• Is there a python openid apps-discovery library to get appengine apps onto the apps marketplace

  I'm looking for info on howto get a google appengine app onto the newly announced google apps marketplace. The page at http://code.google.com/googleapps/marketplace/sso.html does not have a python openid apps-discovery library which seems to be the stumbling block. • Android: Strange out of memory issue

  I am not sure where to start to explain this one. I have a list view with a couple image buttons on each row. When you click the list row, it launches a new activity. If you review some of my other posts, I have had to build my own tabs because of an issue w/ the camera layout. The activity that gets launched for result is a map. If I click on my button to launch the image preview (load an image off the sd card) the application returns from the activity back to the listview activity to the result handler to relaunch my new activity which is nothing more than an image widget. So here is the issue, the image preview on the list view is being done w/ the cursor & listadapter. This makes it pretty simple, but I am not sure how I can put a resized (i.e. smaller bit size not pixel) image as the src for the imgbutton on the fly. So I just resized the image that came off the phone camera. The issue is that I get an out of memory error when it tries to go back and re-launch the 2nd activity. ** My question : is there a way I can build the list adapter easily row by row, where I can resize on the fly (bit wise)? - this would be preferable as I also need to make some changes to the properties of the widgets/elements in each row as I am unable to select a row w/ touch screen b/c of focus issue. (I can use roller ball). ** I know I can do an out of band resize and save of my image, but that is not really what I want to do, but some sample code for that would be nice if that is your suggestion. As soon as I disabled the image on the listview it worked fine again. • Can a telephony.Phone object be instantiated through the sdk?

• Disable eclipselink caching and query caching - not working?

  I am using eclipselink JPA with a database which is also being updated externally to my application. For that reason there are tables I want to query every few seconds. I can't get this to work even when I try to disable the cache and query cache. • Why does my .NET Windows service not start automatically sometimes?

  Hi all, I have modified a working Windows service that had always been starting beforehand. After adding the System.Management reference it now sometimes will not start automatically. I get the following error: Service cannot be started. System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80010002): Call was canceled by the message filter. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010002 (RPC_E_CALL_CANCELED)) I found another post here on SO with someone having the same issue. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/998883/why-wont-my-net-windows-service-start-automatically-after-a-reboot However, the proposed solution was to have the service start after the services it depends on have started. However, when I go to the Dependencies tab for my service, I see: Should I just use the workaround method of putting the thread to sleep, or is there a more proper way of getting this service to start correctly? At the moment the whole program freezes when extraction is started. Maybe have another thread?   In extension of this question http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1580750/example-code-of-libssh2-being-used-for-port-forwarding I was wondering if there's an "easier" way to connect to the locally binded addr:port. From the link: you bind a remote port and list it locally, you accept incoming data from the port and send it to another socket (namely the local addr:port), after which I'd like to connect to the local addr:port. Is there a way to skip the "send it to another" step and direct the data directly for my "connect to localhost" ? There are two parts to why I want this, first, it seems excessive, and in the spirit of piping, I wouldn't be surprised if it was possible. Second, since I'm trying to connect to a localhost'ed bound port forward, all code is in the same thread, making a continiously getting data-sending data, and polling the sending data from another socket, a bit tricky.   Hi There, I'm writing for iphone OS 3.1.3. I want the search button in the keyboard from my UISearchBar to have the search button enabled all the time. If this was any old UITextField (not a search bar) the property would be enablesReturnKeyAutomatically. • Outlook 2003 add-in - Getting COM exception on application shutdown after creating WPF window

  Hi! I'm developing an outlook 2003 add-in. Until now I used only winforms to display one form, but today I've added a WPF window for more complex stuff. DUe to the WPF window, a COM exception is being thrown when outlook shuts down. Does anybody know why? I need to start a separate thread for the WPF window in single apartment state. • Schema compare with MS Data Tools in VS2008

  When performing a schema compare having db_owner rights on the target database results in the following error: The user does not have permission to perform this action. Using the SQL Server Profiler I figured out this error occurs executing a query targeting the master db view: [sys].[dm_database_encryption_keys] While specifically ignoring all object types but Tables one would presume the SQL Compare doesn't need access to the db encryption keys. Also note: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vstsdb/thread/c11a5f8a-b9cc-454f-ba77-e1c69141d64b/ One solution would be to GRANT VIEW SERVER STATE to the db user, but in my case I'm not hosting the database services and won't get the rights to the server state. • WPF slow to start on x64 in .NET Framework 4.0

  I've noticed that if I build my WPF application for Any CPU/x64, it takes MUCH longer to start (on the order of about 20 seconds) or to load new controls than it does if started on x86 (in release & debug modes, inside or outside of VS). This occurs with even the simplest WPF apps. The problem is discussed in this MSDN thread, but no answer was provided there. This happens only with .NET 4.0 -- in 3.5 SP1, x64 was just as fast as x86. Interestingly, Microsoft seems to know about this problem since the default for a new WPF project in VS2010 is x86. Is this a real bug or am I just doing it wrong? EDIT: Possibly related to this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2788215/slow-databinding-setup-time-in-c-net-4-0. I'm using data binding heavily.

I have a problem with jQuery, here is how my web app works Search.aspx web page which contains a form and jQuery script posts data to Search() action in Home controller after user clicks button1 button. Search() action in controller runs for longer period of time. I simulate this in testing by putting Thread.Sleep(15000); in Search()action. 5 sec. after Submit button was pressed, the above jQuery script calls Refresh() action in Home controller. public ActionResult Refresh() { ViewData["Result"] = DateTime.Now; return PartialView(); } Refresh() renders this partial <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl" % <%= ViewData["Result"] % The problem is that in Internet Explorer 8 there is only one request to /Home/Refresh; in Firefox 3.6.3 all requests to /Home/Refresh are made but nothing is displayed on the web page. Another problem with Firefox is that requests to /Home/Refresh are made every second not every 5 seconds. I noticed that after I clear Firefox cache the script works well first time button1 is pressed, but after that it doesn't work. I would be grateful for helpful suggestions.

• html parsing with libxml

  In another thread I got convinced into using HTML parsers instead of regexps for HTML parsing (I thought they would work fine, but they didn't ;) ). I thought of using libxml (it has some HTML parser built in), but failed to find any useful tutorial. I also found this site and it says here it should do fine even with severly broken HTML. Could you give me some examples of HTML parsing with libxml, or maybe recommend some different free library for Linux? I'm using C++. I just thought someone would have some example code, so that I don't have to analyze the headers ;)

  Hello everyone, I am developing module where-in i pick the image from photo library and put into a Sprite. I want to implement Zoom-in, Zoom-out kind of effect for a Sprite image, same like camera album images zoom in/out effect. Could someone please guide me how do i implement it? I see somewhere is that, i have to detect two touch events in TouchBegan and then Adjust the Sprite Scale size to up or down based on the distance of two fingers touch event values. Could someone please tell me, How do i detect two fingers touch values in TouchBegan? How to allow to touch and Zoom-in/out of Sprite image by user? Please give me samples.   Hi, For glassfish v2, I have searched through the web and I cannot find anyway to specify query timeout when using TopLink essential query hint. We have another option to migrate to EclipseLink but that is not feasible. have tried the solution in http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=974732&tstart=-1 but it seems the DatabaseQuery which one could set a timeout value is actually for Toplink, not TopLink essential. Do we have some other way to instruct the JDBC driver for this timeout value other than the query hint? I need to do it on query-basis and not system-basis (which is just to change the value of DISTRIBUTED_LOCK_TIMEOUT)
