    I created one desktop project in c#. i want to know about how it could be use for different languages. i created resx file for all the forms like that: select particular form goes to the property window set localiztion true select language in which i want to show in particular language. convert all labels text and other functionality in selected language and build it. after building one another resx file created other than default resx. This process is did for all the form. so now each form having to resx file first is hi.resx for hindi and another is default resx. now my qus is that : how to give language selection option at installation time. and when user choose any language then my application is converted in that language that means particular language resx file set life time whenever user uninstall that application.

    If all that you're doing is a simple one-pass iteration (i.e. only hasNext() and next(), no remove()), are you guaranteed linear time performance and/or amortized constant cost per operation? Is this specified in the Iterator contract anywhere? Are there data structures/Java Collection which cannot be iterated in linear time? java.util.Scanner implements Iterator<String>. A Scanner is hardly a data structure (e.g. remove() makes absolutely no sense). Is this considered a design blunder? Is something like PrimeGenerator implements Iterator<Integer> considered bad design, or is this exactly what Iterator is for? (hasNext() always returns true, next() computes the next number on demand, remove() makes no sense). Similarly, would it have made sense for java.util.Random implements Iterator<Double>?

  • How much time should it take to find the sum of all prime numbers less than 2 million?

    I was trying to solve this Project Euler Question. I implemented the sieve of euler as a helper class in java. It works pretty well for the small numbers. But when I input 2 million as the limit it doesn't return the answer. I use Netbeans IDE. I waited for a lot many hours once, but it still didn't print the answer. When I stopped running the code, it gave the following result Java Result: 2147483647 BUILD SUCCESSFUL (total time: 2,097 minutes 43 seconds) This answer is incorrect. Even after waiting for so much time, this isn't correct. While the same code returns correct answers for smaller limits. Sieve of euler has a very simple algo given at the botton of this page.     I am trying to create a comet like thing. I have a plugin that collects data from a php page. The problem is that i dont know how to call the plugin inside itself.     I have the need for some time based effects in the iPad app I am building. The UIView class animation capability beginAnimatins/commitAnimations is exactly the sort of thing I am looking for but it is restricted to specific properties of UIView deemed animatable. Ideally, I am looking for a solution that lets me drive an a time-based function that can perhaps send messages to a class of my own choosing at the rate I specify in the animation. Specifically, I have a function - my implementation of the RenderMan function "smoothstep" which is essentially an ease-in ease-out curve common in animation. It takes [0 - 1] as input and outputs [0 - 1] as the curve is evaluated. I want to drive this function for a duration of my own choosing at rate of my own choosing. Thanks in advance. -Doug

    I have an app that works with tabs and webview. I already have it setup to refresh the page assigned to a tab each time the item on tabbar is selected. My problem now is that it takes some time to load the page and it's impossible to say if the page being displayed is the old or refreshed one. What I want to do is add a "loading" screen (a simple image) which will be displayed until the refreshed page is loaded.     I was wondering, that if there is a weighted graph G(V,E), and I need to find a single shortest path between any two vertices S and T in it then I could have used the Dijkstras algorithm. but I am not sure how this can be done when we need to find all the distinct shortest paths from S to T. Is it solvable on O(n) time? I had one more question like if we assume that the weights of the edges in the graph can assume values only in certain range lets say 1 <=w(e)<=2 will this effect the time complexity?

    I'm probably missing the basics here... Is there a way to link more than one object to a method at a time using Interface Builder in Xcode 4.2? I set tons of UIButtons in my UIView. All of them call just one method (let's say - (IBAction)buttonPushed:(UIButton *)aButton) that should do something different depending on the sender. I can't figure out a way to link them all with my method at a time. Any advice will be very appreciated... N.B. I'm using Xcode 4.2 on Snow Leopard, without storyboard.

I only need the hours but since I have to save date. it appears like this: Date companyWorkStartHour; Date companyWorkEndHour; start hours: 12-12-2001-13:00:00 finish hours: 12-12-2001-18:00:00 I have the timezone of the company and of the user. (my server may be in another timezone). TimeZone userTimeZone; TimeZone companyTimeZone; I need to check if the user's current time (considering his timezone) is within the company working hours (considering the company's time zone). How can I do it? I am struggling for over a week with Java calendar and with no success!
