Your program should prompt the user to input numerical values of a, b, c and d, as floating point numbers, which are expected to be in a range from -100 thru 100.   • Cisco ASA: How to route PPPoE-assigned subnet?

    We've just received a fiber uplink, and I'm trying to configure our Cisco ASA 5505 to properly use it. The provider requires us to connect via PPPoE, and I managed to configure the ASA as a PPPoE client and establish a connection. The ASA is assigned an IP address by PPPoE, and I can ping out from the ASA to the internet, but I should have access to an entire /28 subnet. I can't figure out how to get that subnet configured on the ASA, so that I can route or NAT the available public addresses to various internal hosts. My assigned range is: 188.xx.xx.176/28 The address I get via PPPoE is 188.xx.xx.177/32, which according to our provider is our Default Gateway address. They claim the subnet is correctly routed to us on their side. How does the ASA know which range it is responsible for on the Fiber interface? How do I use the addresses from my range? To clarify my config; The ASA is currently configured to default-route to our ADSL uplink on port Ethernet0/0 (interface vlan2, nicknamed Outside). The fiber is connected to port Ethernet0/2 (interface vlan50, nicknamed Fiber) so I can configure and test it before making it the default route. Once I'm clear on how to set it all up, I'll fully replace the Outside interface with Fiber.   • Using "route add" to tell my computer to use a direct ethernet connexion instead of wifi ?

    2 PCs are involved. Both are connected to the internet via Wifi on the same router. I can ping to/from each other and share folders flawlessly, but I'd like to be able to set a direct Ethernet link between them to speed up file transfers AND keep the Wifi connections (no gateway). So I plugged my RJ45 cable, and set up the connection. It works, but the PCs are only using this connection if one of them if disconnected from the Wifi. PC1 local address is 192.168.0.7 on its ethernet interface, and 192.168.1.21 on the wifi one. PC2 local address is 192.168.0.6 on its ethernet interface, and 192.168.1.22 on the wifi one. My question is : I'd like to using the route add command to tell PC1 to use the Ethernet interface when it needs to connect with PC2, by specifying "IF 2" at the end of the route add command. How can I do this ? [HttpPost] public ActionResult ReportByRange(ReportViewModel viewModel) { Period reportPeriod = viewModel.ReportPeriod; // this is null } I expected MVC would try to set the string from the textbox to that property and it would automatically generate a Period (as in my FormCollection example), but it's not. How do I tell the textbox I've generated in the custom editor to poplate that property on the model?

  • Different Azure blob streams when using .Net client vs. REST interface

    I have encountered an unusual difference in the way that the .Net client for Azure and the direct REST API bring back streams of binary data. If I use the CloundBlob.DownloadToStream() vs. getting the response stream from the HTTP response, I get streams with the same length, but different content. Specifically the REST response seems to 0 out a series of bytes. I've discovered this issue because I'm trying to use the byte range feature for blobs which is currently not supported in the .Net client (if I'm wrong on this point and someone can point at where I can do this it might make the rest of this question irrelevant). Here's the situation: I can run Report Builder from localhost My coworker can run Report Builder on his Vista computer Another coworker can run Report Builder on his XP SP3 computer (IE7) I can NOT run Report Builder on my XP SP3 computer (IE7) I'm told that it could be anything from an errant registry entry to a group policy problem. How can I synch such large files to my web server for use? I want the synching to occur asynchronously in the background. The program fetches items till it reaches the item index specified within item_num This is what I have: item_num = 56 range(0, item_num/100 + (item_num%100 > 0)): get_next_100() I'm not really sure about the (item_num%100 0) boolean I used. Is there anything wrong with what I did?
