  I am using VS2010, and Silverlight 4. When I run my code the debugging does not work (I get the above error on my breakpoints. When I clean my solution a warning comes up saying that the system cannot find the file specified (a project dll). It is looking in the right path (..\debug), but there is no dll present. I started a new Silverlight 4 project, and get the same error. Sometime's the debugging does work (I am not sure if/what anything changed, but on one occasion I was surprised that my breakpoints worked. After changing one thing the breakpoints stopped working)

• jquery nested sortable

  I have been using NestedSortabe from b-hind and found it quite useful until I upgraded to latest jquery and jquery-ui I guess they changed the way mouse events are handled or something to that effect. Point it the nestedSortable doesn't work any longer. So my question is tri fold does anyone know if the folks at jquery have implemented a nested sortable I haven't seen anything. or does anyone know how to fix the b-hind version or know of something better / light weight to accomplish the same goals would like something compatible with lastest jquery-ui EDIT: it appears as though the lastest version of jquery-ui-sortable supports nested sorting !!!

• How to update data in the user information list when using FBA

  I've got to support a SharePoint web application which uses FBA with a custom membership and a custom role provider to authenticate the user against two different LDAPs. The user data are only stored in the user information lists. The SSP user profiles are not used. Now one of the users got married and therefore her surname got changed in the LDAP (the one where her information are stored). But this change doesn't get provisioned into the user information list. I wondering what option I have to provision changes of user data to the user information list. I've already tried to update the last name of the user manually, but it seems as if certain information like surname, first name are not editable in the user information list. I tried to edit them as a site administrator. So what option do I have to solve this problem? Being able to edit the information per hand would also be a solution but of course not the most preferred one.

• WPF parent-child window: binding reference problem

  I have a WPF Window that open a modal child window to load some data. Both window have a own viewmodel, now I have this problem: after I close the child window it seems still running in background! To close the child window I set DialogResult from viewmodel command; now, if I create a new data and then I edit it from parent window (with the child window closed before), the child window still capture the property changed event for the properties previously bind. How can avoid this? I would clear every reference with data when I close modal window. Which is the best practise to do it?

I'm also looking for a way to generate these dataset too.but for now I'm just looking for a way to convert RDL files to RDLC files.   I need a help with setting a random image using setImageResource method. In the drawable folder, I have a jpeg file named photo0.jpg, photo1.jpg...photo99.jpg. And the following code works: int p = R.drawable.photo1; image.setImageResource(p); The above will display photo1.jpg but I want to show a random image. I tried the following but it doesn't work. String a = "R.drawable.photo"; int n = (int) (Math.random()*100) String b = Integer.toString(n); String c = a+b; int p = Integer.parseInt(c);//checkpoint image.setImageResource(p); It seems like the string "R.drawable.photoXX" isn't being changed to integer at the checkpoint.   How do you order items when you override the QueryOverride property of the Content Query Web Part? I have been given responsibility for a Web Part which extends the Content Query Web Part. The QueryOverride property of this Web Part is programmatically changed. Currently, the Web Part does not function as designed, as it does not order the items according to the appropriate field. If I add an <OrderBy> node to the QueryOverride property I get an error message along the lines of 'something wrong with the query this web part is...' and the Content Query Web Part doesn't seem to have an OrderBy property which I could use instead. The "QueryOverride property" part of this msdn article seems to suggest I should be able to add an <OrderBy> node to the QueryOverride but a number of web sites I've been reading suggest that this is not true. So, wow do you order items when you override the QueryOverride property of the Content Query Web Part?

  My website is running on Asp.net v4 , IIS 7 , Windows server 2008. My cpu is running on 20-30% and the site is responding quickly. Every 2-5 mins i'm receiving the following error: Event code: 3001 Event message: The request has been aborted.   The problem I hope to resolve here is that when I click on one item in the ListView that item's background changes to light gray, but when I continue to scroll through the list every 4th item has the background changed to light gray even though those other items have not been clicked. How do I make only the item I clicked be effected by the click? • android: CheckedTextView cannot be checked?

  Initially I wanted a checkmark where the text is placed on the left of the checkmark. After searching on this site I found out the best workaround is android:CheckedTextView? However, I found out that the checkmark cannot be changed manually by users. • XAMPP Redirecting to XAMPP directory on Internal Network

  I installed XAMPP on my desktop. I set up vhosts for about 5 sites and they are all working properly from the desktop itself. The problem arises whenever I try to access these vhosts from my laptop. I changed the hosts file on the laptop to redirect the laptop dev.domain.com requests to the desktop, however, when I try to access these sites from my laptop on the local network, I only receive the XAMPP welcome screen. It seems like when trying to access the vhosts on the desktop from the laptop the vhosts file is ignored as all requests are redirected to the xampp directory. What might I need to adjust to ensure access to the vhosts on the desktop from the laptop?

• TFS webtest for SSRS reports issue

  I am creating webtests in TFS and trying to test reports execution in SSRS. When I record the initial process, it includes Reserved.ReportViewerWebControl.axd files. These files are what is causing the problem. When I remove the files, the report does not display, however if I keep the AXD files in it works fine. The problem with keeping the AXD files is the reportsession querystring variable that are included. If I run the report after a bit the reportsession has obviously changed. Any help is appreciated.

  I've just started getting this Javascript error running VS2010 with SL4 Error: Unhandled Error in Silverlight Application Code: 2104 Category: InitializeError Message: Could not download the Silverlight application. Check web server settings Everything was working fine, changed 1 line of code to use a RegularExpression in the web project (using the Silverlight Business Application template) then when rebuilding I get this error. Google says this is IIS and mimetype related. I'm using Cassini not IIS with VS2010. Rebooted, cleared xap from IE cache. Error on both IE and FF. What could be wrong?

• C# How can I tell if an IEnumerable is Mutable?

  I want a method to update certain entries of an IEnumerable. I found that doing a foreach over the entries and updating the values failed as in the background I was cloning the collection. This was because my IEnumerable was backed by some LINQ-SQL queries. By changing the method to take a List I have changed this behavior, Lists are always mutable and hence the method changes the actual objects in the list. Rather than demand a List is passed is there a Mutable interface I can use? // Will not behave as consistently for all IEnumerables public void UpdateYesterday (IEnumerable<Job> jobs) { foreach (var job : jobs) { if (job.date == Yesterday) { job.done = true; } } }

• Problem with cvCreateVideoWriter in OpenCv. Again )

  I know, that the issue had been widely discussed before, but after 5 hours of inefficient googling I guess I deserve to ask :) By the way, all such problems concerned earlier versions of OpenCV, so.. I've compiled fresh OpenCV 2.1. from source under Ubuntu 9.10. It works fine except of cvCreateVideoWriter, which returns null to the following request: CvVideoWriter *writer = cvCreateVideoWriter("video.avi", CV_FOURCC('M','J','P','G'), fps, size, 0); I've walked through the OpenCv folders - it even seems to have ffmpeg inside. I've also installed it on the system to make sure. I've changed CV_FOURCC('M','J','P','G') to -1 - all worthless. I would appreciate your help soo much! P.S. I've also explored some new way for writing videos here: http://opencv.willowgarage.com/documentation/cpp/reading_and_writing_images_and_video.html#videowriter But it fails to work as well, showing the mistake: error: no match for ‘operator>>’ in ‘writer >> frame’ My code is here: http://pastie.org/984734

• WCF Service Authentication problem?

  I have an application which exposes lots of interfaces via net.tcp protocol, using both SecurityMode.Transport and SecurityMode.None (I really need support for both). My whole application is written in a DLL file. I have a form which consumes this DLL and now I made a Windows Service to consume this DLL. The problem is, when this windows service goes up, the insecure service throws this exception: Stream Security is required at http://www.w3.org/2005/08/addressing/anonymous, but no security context was negotiated. This is likely caused by the remote endpoint missing a StreamSecurityBindingElement from its binding. In the client side, nothing has changed. Is there any reason for this behaviour? The program is exactly the same. When I run the same test with the form app, it works... ps: I've already tried running the windows service as: SYSTEM, NETWORK SERVICE and my user account (which runs the form app) Thanks

• AnkhSVN client side pre-commit hook

  Basically I want to do the same thing as the fella over there. It seems that everybody was thinking about server-side hooks (with all their evil potential). I want a client side script be run before commit so astyle can format the code the way my boss likes to see it. Since my IDE (VS2010Pro) automatically checks when a file changed on the disk an opts me in for reloading it, there is no real evil with all that. Is there any (clean) way to accomplish that with AnkhSVN? Maybe there's also a way to extend VisualStudio to call my pre-commit-script...

  I just installed VS2010 RC and launched the FullDuplex sample from NServiceBus 2.0.0.1145 and it ran fine. I then changed the target framework of each project in the solution to ".NET Framework 4", recompiled and launched in the debugger and received the following exception: System.InvalidOperationException was unhandled Message=No endpoint configuration found in scanned assemblies.   I am working on a GridView in Asp.Net. When initially a the Page Loads, my gridview look like: When a user clicks, to edit a row, I am using edit templates to show 'Domain' in a DropDownList. But problem is , when the DropDownlist gets load with data, it lost the current value of the 'Domain'. i.e If I want to edit 4th Row, its domain which is currently set to 'Computers' is getting changed to 'MBA' which is ofcourse the first element return by the DataSource. I want to display the current value ('computers') as the selected value in DropDownList. But I am unable to get the value of Domain, which is being edited.

  Pulling my hair out trying to debug this one. Earlier this morning, this code was working fine, and I can't see what I've changed to break it. Now, whenever I try to open an nHibernate session, I'm getting the following error: Test method BCMS.Tests.Repositories.BlogBlogRepositoryTests.can_get_recent_blog_posts threw exception: System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'NHibernate.Cfg.Environment' threw an exception. --- System.Runtime.Serialization.SerializationException: Type is not resolved for member 'Castle.DynamicProxy.Serialization.ProxyObjectReference,Rhino.Mocks, Version=3.5.0.1337, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=0b3305902db7183f'..
