  • In GWT, how to known from a SelectionEvent in a Tree if the Shift button is pressed

    Hi, I try in GWT to create a Tree with multiple selection for the nodes and ran into a problem similar to this question http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1411752/shift-key-in-gwt. When a selectionEvent is raised from the Tree, I would like to know if the Shift key is pressed or not. SelectionHandler<TreeItem> getSelectionHandler() { return new SelectionHandler<TreeItem>(){ @Override public void onSelection(SelectionEvent<TreeItem> event) { // is shift key pressed ? } }; } The solution in the question above cannot apply in this case as the SelectionHandler class does not inherit from DOMEvent and then does not have a getNativeEvent() function. I tried a dirty solution by adding keyDownEventHandler and keyUpEventHandler to the Tree with a boolean flag but the handlers are only called when the focus is on the tree so this doesn't work. Is there a simple solution (or just a solution even if it's not simple) ? Thanks.

  • Logitech MX3200 keyboard stopped working

    I have a Logitech MX3200 wireless keyboard and mouse set, and keyboard stopped working. I was working with it and it just stopped in the middle of using it. Some notes: The mouse still works flawlessly, i've tried to reconnect the KB i've tried to reconnect everything, mouse reconnects, keyboard reconnects (or pretends to) I've tried to hard reset (holding the connect button on the receiver for 10 seconds). I've tried new batteries I took out the batteries out of the KB & Mouse and unplugged the receiver over night. The media keys still work (launches winamp) but they main keys does not At this point, i've tried everything I've seen online. I just want to know is my keyboard dead in the water? I would say it's been about 8 months to a year since i've bought it, and the articles i find on the internet all say that's as long as they last... is this true? what's everyone's experience? I hope it's not true.

    In my Java application I have to custom-paint a control and for that I need to use the same font colors as JButton. (Enabled an disabled) I don't want to to hard-code them, because the user can change the Substance skin at runtime. I'm aware of the ColorSchemes but I'm not sure how to proceed once I have the color scheme of the current skin. Also the Substance documentation says something about creating your own color scheme, but I just can't figure out the way to retrieve a certain color.

Can anyone please tell me, How to get the HWND of a buttons/combobox/etc (not normal buttons in a window) if I know (only) the Id of it ? How to obtain the HBITMAP if I know the id of the resource ? Menu has 100% width and fixed height Left block has fixed width and 100% height. If content is taller - scroll bar appears inside the left block only. Right block contains <pre> element and takes the remaining width and 100% height. If content is wider or taller - scrollbar appears inside the right block only. This is what I have so far: http://jsbin.com/uqegi4/3/edit The problem is fixed menu height messes up 100% height calculation and all scrollbars inside left and right blocks appear at wrong time. I don't care about cross browser compatibility, only Chrome matters. Thanks.

    I am having a issue I have never experienced until recently, I believe (hoping) it is just a setting I can change? The issue: When I left click and hold the left mouse button down and slide the mouse around to select text in a document or webpage, it works as far as selecting the text, however when I release the left button , it does not stop selecting more text. Instead I must hit the left button again to stop it from selecting more text. This is very annoying, at first I thought I just had a faulty mouse but I just bought a new mouse and it is the same problem. I am running windows 7 pro Please help, hoping it is something simple I overlooked?

    Team, I am trying to bring a menu in top of all visible views during runtime. This menu should be easily addable and removable dynamically in certain conditions. To do this, I have tried adding a button view to the UIWindow as a subview during runtime. Also I have tried to place this button in the root view controller, but no luck again. Edit - Note: This code is not from a UIViewController.
