.NET command line argument bug?

Hello, I am trying to read command lien argument but it seems there is some kind of bug in .NET. The parameter which I pass to my console application /i "C:\Projects\PC\trunk\Simulator\PDF-Source\PDF-Source\bin\Debug\ConversionFiles\dummy.pdf" /o "result" CommandLine variable return three arguments, but I pass four and values of these arguments messed up. /i = true "C:\Projects\PC\trunk\Simulator\PDF-Source\PDF-Source\bin\Debug\ConversionFiles\dummy.pdf" = true /o = "result" As you see only the last argument is parsed corectlly. I'm almost losing it, i really hope someone can help me out! I'm using Doctrine with CodeIgniter. Everything is setup correctly and works until I generate the classes and view the website. PyGTK: dynamic label wrapping

It's a known bug/issue that a label in GTK will not dynamically resize when the parent changes. It's one of those really annoying small details, and I want to hack around it if possible. I followed the approach at 16 software, but as per the disclaimer you cannot then resize it smaller. So I attempted a trick mentioned in one of the comments (the set_size_request call in the signal callback), but this results in some sort of infinite loop (try it and see). Does anyone have any other ideas? (You can't block the signal just for the duration of the call, since as the print statements seem to indicate, the problem starts after the function is left.) The code is below. You can see what I mean if you run it and try to resize the window larger and then smaller. (If you want to see the original problem, comment out the line after "Connect to the size-allocate signal", run it, and resize the window bigger.) Django shows too many warnings when deleting an object

I have two models: class Account(models.Model): main_request = models.ForeignKey('JournalistRequest', related_name='main_request') key = models.CharField(_('Key'), max_length=100) class JournalistRequest(models.Model): account = models.ForeignKey(Account, blank=True, null=True) When I try to delete a JournalistRequest, It shows warning with a lot of nesting, like Are you sure you want to delete the selected ?????? ??? objects? All of the following objects and their related items will be deleted: Journalist Request: some request Account: some account Journalist Request: some request Account: some account Journalist Request: some request Account: some account Journalist Request: some request Account: some account Journalist Request: some request All accounts are the same one (ids are same), and all requests are the same one, so I think it becaues of a recursion. But I have no idea how to solve this problem in Django 1.1.1! Can you help me?

MouseLeftButtonUpEvent & Bubbling in Canvas

Hi guys, I think I'm going crazy... I have Canvas with event handlers for MouseMove & MouseLeftButtonUp. However MouseLeftButtonUp is not being fired when it happens with cursor over TextBlock that is inside canvas. (it fires just fine when I release mouse button in empty space of the canvas) I tried attaching handler via AddHandler and using regular += syntax, nothing seems to work. I tried using Canvas.CaptureMouse() but it doesnt seem to work either (CaptureMouse returns true btw). MouseLeftButtonUp just doesnt want to propagate to it's parent when it happens over TextBlock (or any other element with IsHitTestVisible = true) inside Canvas. Please help.

How to extend WPF hit testing zone for a Path object.

Wpf hit testing is pretty good but the only method I found to extend the hit zone is to put a transparent padding area around your object. I can't find any method to add a transparent area arround a Path object. The path is very thin and I would like to enable hit testing if the user clicks near the path. I can't find any method to extend the path object with a transparent area like the image below : I tried to used a partially transparent stroke brush but I ran into the problem described here : http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1412833/how-can-i-draw-a-soft-line-in-wpf-presumably-using-a-lineargradientbrush I also tried to put an adorner over my line but because of WPF anti-aliasing algorithms, the position is way off when I zoom in my canvas and interfere with other objects hit-testing in a bad way. Are there any real benefits to including javascript dynamically rather than as script tags at the bo

I've read that including the scripts dynamically may provide some better performance, however i'm not really seeing that on the small local tests I'm doing. I created a jquery plugin to dynamically load other plugins as necessary and am curious as to if this is actually a good idea. I'm using log4net to log my exceptions. Tomcat IIS 7 Integration gives 503 errors on all requests.

Android Market: Application not visible on some Devices

Hello, i have written an application that needs to process outgoing calls. Everything works fine, the application has already a few hundred downloads, but now i get feedback from people who would like to download it, yet cannot find it. I have done some tests and have found that the permission "PROCESS_OUTGOING_CALLS" seems to be responsible for this. If i include it in an app, people with branded phones (at least in Germany) cannot find it, as soon as i remove this permission, everything is fine (when i re-insert it again, the app vanishes again) The weird thing is, that those users can see other apps which use this permission in the market. I have compared my manifest file to outputs from other manifest files and cannot understand why it doesn't work. Problem in calling Excel function

I am facing a problem while making Excel's LinEST function. My program goes like MyExcel.Application xl = new MyExcel.Application(); MyExcel.WorksheetFunction wsf = xl.WorksheetFunction; List<int> x = new List<int> { 1, 2, 3, 4 }; List<int> y = new List<int> { 11, 12, 45, 42 }; object o = wsf.LinEst(x, y, true, true); And the namespace is using MyExcel = Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel; The program is compiling smoothly but at runtime it is throwing an error {System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80020005): Type mismatch. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80020005 (DISP_E_TYPEMISMATCH)) Actually this is the first time I am using Excel function .. so I am unable to proceed further. If any one has run thru this kind of situation and has solved, please help me. I am using C# 3.0 Thanks

How to strink matrix using array mask in Matlab?

This seems to be a very common problem of mine. data = [1 2 3; 4 5 6]; mask = [true false true]; mask = repmat(mask, 2, 1); data(mask) ==> [1; 4; 3; 6] What I wanted was [1 3; 4 6] Yes I can just reshape it to the right size, but that seems the wrong way to do it. Is there a better way? Why doesn't data(mask) return a matrix when it is actually rectangular? I understand in the general case it may not be, but in my case since my original mask is an array it always will be.

Couldn't get connection factory client - fighting with Google Maps

another day another problem, I finally managed to set up correctly google maps on my android application, or at least I thought I've done it, the whole progam starts, it even call the class which should "print" a map, but the only thing I can see is a grid with google label on it [ in the corner ]. I've checked the dalvik monitor and the error E/MapActivity(394): Couldn't get connection factory client occurs. I've find out on stackoverflow website that I should sent a gps signal or sth like this from dalvik monitor, and I've done it. Also I would like to add the validation to the top of the screen as a validation summary Any Ideas ?

Connection Refused running multiple environments on Selenium Grid 1.04 via Ubuntu 9.04

Hello, I'm writing a selenium grid test suite which is going to be run on a series of different machines. I wrote most of it on my macbook but have recently transfered it over to my work machine, which is running ubuntu 9.04. That's actually my first experience with a linux machine, so I may be missing something very simple (I have disabled the firewall though). I haven't been able to get the multienvironment thing working at all, and I've been trying and manual reviewing for a while. Any recommendations and help would be greatly, greatly appreciated! in python, given a variable which holds a string is there a quick way to cast that into another raw string variable? the following code should illustrate what im after... def checkEqual(x, y): print True if x==y else False line1 = "hurr..\n..durr" line2 = r"hurr..\n..durr" line3 = "%r"%line1 print "%s \n\n%s \n\n%s \n" % (line1, line2, line3) checkEqual(line2, line3) #outputs False checkEqual(line2, line3[1:-1]) #outputs True The closest I have found so far is the %r formatting flag which seems to return a raw string albeit within single quote marks. Is there any easier way to do this like a line3 = raw(line1) kind of thing?

ExtJS combo setting problem

Hi I run into an interesting problem while was using combos in input form. My form contains combos that get data from json stores. It works fine when adding new record, but when the form is opened for editing an existing record, sometimes the id appears as selected not its value (eg: there's 5 instead of "apple"). I think it tries to set the value before it finishes loading the combo. Is there a way to solve this?
