Query Execution Failed in Reporting Services reports

I have some reporting services reports that talk to Analysis Services and at times they fail with the following error: An error occurred during client rendering. An error has occurred during report processing. Query execution failed for dataset 'AccountManagerAccountManager'. The connection cannot be used while an XmlReader object is open. This occurs sometimes when I change selections in the filter. It also occurs when the machine has been under heavy load and then will consistently error until SSAS is restarted. Gitlab and Nginx not loading gitlab

I have just installed gitlab and nginx on Ubuntu LTS 12.04 using this guide: http://blog.compunet.co.za/gitlab-installation-on-ubuntu-server-12-04/ I installed this on another server last night and had absolutely no problems with it (sort of a test run to see how long it would take to get going). I am not getting any errors when restarting gitlab or nginx with /etc/init.d and my error logs are empty. Dual NVidia graphics cards in Ubuntu / xorg.conf mania

I have two NVidia graphics cards: Quadro NVS 295 (PCI Express, dual DisplayPort outputs) GeForce FX 5200 (PCI, DVI and VGA outputs) I have three identical monitors, two on DisplayPort and one on DVI. I'm on Ubuntu Hardy (and cannot currently dist-upgrade for separate reasons). I use the "nvidia" driver. What's new is the GeForce card and the third monitor. I currently have the dual DisplayPort monitors working fine. What am I missing? How can I make nvidia-settings show my second GPU so I can then configure its monitor?

User can't SFTP after chroot

Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS I'm trying to chroot the user 'sam'. According to all the tutorials out there this should work, but apparently I'm still doing something wrong. Why RSA SSH authentication only works after console log-in?

I setup RSA authentication on one of my Ubuntu servers, however after every restart, I can't log-in via ssh RSA. In order to log-in with ssh I need to first log-in via console, then the RSA starts working. Why??? Why the system information message when accessing an Ubuntu server doesn't match free -m?

Wifi Drops Connections with WPA2-PSK

I run a small computer lab made up of 10 computers of identical hardware and software (Dell Latitudes with Windows 7 x64 Enterprise) and I use a ZyWALL 2WG as a router/firewall. Nine of the computers connect to the router over wifi using WPA2-PSK encryption while the last one is connected by ethernet cable. I'm having a problem where any computer connected to the wi-fi occasionally drops off the network (it cannot be pinged and the client cannot ping the gateway). It only happens on the wifi side and only when the encryption is WPA2-PSK or WPA-PSK. I tried using another router with a different make and model and had no problems. Thinking it could be a software error, I reset the router to factory defaults and installed the newest firmware (V4.04(AQI.8) | 04/09/2010), but still have the problem. The 802.1X log gives the following error User logout because of user disassociation. with this note WPA2-PSK:00242c582ece:logout where 00242c582ece is the mac address of the device. At this point I'm out of things to try and leads to follow. It looks like this user had the same or similar problem, but none of those proposed solutions work for me.

Unable to connect to EC2 instance after "reboot"

I am not able to connect to my m1.small instance after rebooting it. I have already associated the public IP with this instance. How do I access the web server on my desktop from my laptop?

I'm running Apache on my stationary and I would like to access a website through my laptop. This is some of the Apache config: NameVirtualHost 127.0.0.1:80 <VirtualHost 127.0.0.1:80> ServerName mysite.com DocumentRoot I:/wamp/www/mysite/ </VirtualHost> ServerName localhost:80 <Directory /> Options FollowSymLinks AllowOverride all Order deny,allow Deny from all </Directory> On my laptop I've added the following to the HOSTS file: 10.0.0.3 mysite.com But accessing the page through mysite.com is not very successfull. If I enter the IP address directly, I only get a Forbidden message. What do I need to do in order to get this to work? Update I'm runing WAMPSERVER 2.1 (Apache 2.2.17) Apache is up and running I can ping 10.0.0.3 from laptop I'm not able to ping http://mysite.com from laptop IE gives me a 403 Forbidden - The website declined to show this webpage The only log that get's entries when trying to access the website from my laptop, is access.log. access.log 10.0.0.4 - - [13/Jun/2011:10:14:04 +0200] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 403 202 apache_error.log [Mon Jun 13 10:08:16 2011] [error] VirtualHost localhost:0 -- mixing * ports and non-* ports with a NameVirtualHost address is not supported, proceeding with undefined results UPDATE 2 My apache config has the following entry: AllowOverride all Order Deny,Allow Deny from all Allow from 127.0.0.1 Could it be that this Allow from is stopping other computers accessing the page?

Apache/Mongrel/Redmine installation problem (VirtualHost/ProxyPass)

I am installing Redmine as per this step-by-step instruction: http://justnotes.co.cc/2010/02/11/how-to-install-redmine-on-ubuntu/ I am using Ubuntu 10.04.1, Apache 2.2.14, Mongrel 1.1.5. On the VirtualHost configuration stage, I am using this: <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName myserver.lv ProxyPass /redmine/ http://localhost:8000/ ProxyPassReverse /redmine/ http://localhost:8000 ProxyPreserveHost on <Proxy *> Order allow,deny Allow from all </Proxy> </VirtualHost> But, when I direct my browser to http://<my-server's-ip>/redmine/ what I see is not the redmine web application but "Index of /redmine" with, well, index of the files from the root directory of Redmine. Any idea how to fix that? P.S. Tried removing the VirtualHost stuff alltogether and instead adding the following simple clauses to apache2.conf: <Proxy *> Order allow,deny Allow from all </Proxy> ProxyPass /redmine/ http://localhost:8000/ ProxyPassReverse /redmine/ http://localhost:8000/ ProxyPreserveHost on As a result, the behavior changes! Now http://<my-server's-ip>/redmine/ produces the source code of the Redmine's start page, so it is served, but apparently not rendered. At the same time, still, http://<my-server's-ip>:8000/ works perfectly fine, so Mongrel is serving the Redmine application as it should, it's just that something is wrong with my VirtualHost/proxying clauses in the .conf file.

Can't change text color in Microsoft Word 2010

I have Microsoft Office 2010 32-bit running on Windows 7 32-bit. When text is highlighted and a color is selected from the mini-toolbar or the ribbon, the text does not change color. If I change the color for multiple words, and select a different color for each word, the toolbar and ribbon will reflect each of the different colors that I chose, however it is not displayed in the document. So it appears that Word is aware of the text color and not as if it is simply not applying the change. What may be causing this inability to view text colors and how might I fix it? My only troubleshooting attempt so far has been to perform a repair installation of Office. EDIT 1 I created a document, typed a word, selected it and changed the color. I then saved the document as HTML. The text did not change color. Oddly, I had some strange issues while the macro was recorded. I could not select text with my cursor. I had to select the text with control a and then apply the color change. I then couldn't deselect the selected text. Nonetheless, the text showed that it had a different color in the toolbar, but the color did not display in the document. Here's the macro: Sub Change_Text_Color() ' ' Change_Text_Color Macro ' ' Selection.TypeText Text:="Test Text" Selection.WholeStory Selection.WholeStory End Sub EDIT 3 I opened WordPad and created some text and was able to successfully change the color. If I copy and paste the colored text into a Word 2010 document, the color is lost. However, if you place the I-beam in the text and then look at the color selection drop-down menu on the ribbon or mini-toolbar, you can see that the proper color that the text should be in is highlighted. Edit 4 I uninstalled the entire Office 2010 Suite, rebooted and then reinstalled the suite. No change in behavior. Edit 5 Text cannot be colored in Excel either.

How to write files in specific order?

Okay, here's a weird problem -- My wife just bought a 2014 Nissan Altima. So, I took her iTunes library and converted the .m4a files to .mp3, since the car audio system only supports .mp3 and .wma. So far so good. Then I copied the files to a DOS FAT-32 formatted USB thumb drive, and connected the drive to the car's USB port, only to find all of the tracks were out of sequence. All tracks begin with a two digit numeric prefix, i.e., 01, 02, 03, etc. So you would think they would be in order. So I called Nissan Connect support and the rep told me that there is a known problem with reading files in the correct order. He said the files are read in the same order they are written. So, I manually copied a few albums with the tracks in a predetermined order, and sure enough he was correct. So I copied about 6 albums for testing, then changed to the top level directory and did a "find . music.txt". Then I passed this file to rsync like this: rsync -av --files-from=music.txt . ../Marys\ Music\ Sequenced/ The files looked like they were copied in order, but when I listed the files in order of modified time, they were in the same sequence as the original files: ../Marys Music Sequenced/Air Supply/Air Supply Greatest Hits ls -1rt 01 Lost In Love.mp3 04 Every Woman In The World.mp3 03 Chances.mp3 02 All Out Of Love.mp3 06 Here I Am (Just When I Thought I Was Over You).mp3 05 The One That You Love.mp3 08 I Want To Give It All.mp3 07 Sweet Dreams.mp3 11 Young Love.mp3 So the question is, how can I copy files listed in a file named music.txt, and copy them to a destination, and ensure the modification times are in the same sequence as the files are listed?

apache pointing to the wrong version of python on ubuntu how do I change?

I am setting up a flask application on and Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS EC2 instance and everything seemed to be working well (i.e. I could get to the webpage via the publicly available url) until I tried to import a module (e.g. numpy) and realised the apache python differs from the one I used to compile the mod_wsgi and also the one I am using I am running apache2. SVN and WebSVN with different users access restriction on multiple repositories on linux

and first of all sorry for my english. I've installed an ubuntu server 10.04.1 with apache2, subversion, svn_dav and websvn. (and others services of course, like php5, mysql 5.1, etc). I've configured my svn with multiple repositories, and each one with differents groups and users, like: /var/myrepos/repo1 group: mygroup1 /var/myrepos/repo2 group: mygroup2 /var/myrepos/repo3 user: johndoe With an easy access on svn_dav, works perfectly, ie: http://myserver/svnrepo1 accesibly only for users on mygroup1 with theirs users of linux and passwords of svn. Also works for the other repos with their users and groups. But when i tried with websvn, shows all repos without take care than if user on mygroup1 can view repo2 (that's i dont want do). You can login as any user on mygroup1, mygroup2, or johndoe, and you login into all repositories. I'll try to find a solution and I'll post the news, if anyone can helpme with this I'll preciated so much!!! Task Scheduler Crashing MMC

I've been getting errors whenever I try to run the task scheduler for Windows 2008 R2. I read that this issue could be because of Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB2449742) and that by uninstalling it I would be able to fix this issue, however I was not able to locate this anywhere in the server. Here's the link if interested Patch wise, everything is up to date. Also, I tried running hotfix KB2688730 to see if that would work after doing some research online, however the hotfix is not applicable to the computer. If anyone could provide some information on how to fix this and get the task scheduler running again it would be extremely helpful!

Could this server log mean my server is being used as a proxy?

I came across the following entry in my access.log: 58.218.199.147 - - [05/Jun/2012:12:56:04 +1000] "GET http://proxyproxys.com/ HTTP/1.1" 200 183 "-" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1)" Normally when I see a full URL entry in my access.log I assume it is log spam with people trying to get me to access their site. These entries are normally followed with a 404 response. The above entry is followed with a 200 'success' response! Doing some searching it would seem that this can occur when someone is trying to use your server as a proxy. This disturbed me more - especially because the URL in question has the word proxy in it.
