  • Multiple forms + HAML + jQuery + Javascript submit

I have a HAML page that lists some links to delete "things" that looks like this %div %a.form_submit Delete Thing 1 %form{:href=>"#", :id=>'comment_1', :method=>'post', :action=>'/thing/delete'} %input{:type=>'hidden', :name=>'thingid', :value=>'1'} %input{:type=>'submit', style='display:none'} %div %a.form_submit Delete Thing 22 %form{:href=>"#", :id=>'comment_22', :method=>'post', :action=>'/thing/delete'} %input{:type=>'hidden', :name=>'thingid', :value=>'22'} %input{:type=>'submit', style='display:none'} The intention is to have a link "Delete XX" which will delete something specific. A page could have a number of these links, and each link is for a specific "thing". I also have a piece of (unobtrusive) jQuery javascript that adds a click handler to each form as follows: $('a.form_submit').click(function(event) { $('form').submit(); event.preventDefauilt(); }); This works when there is one form on a page. However, if I have more than one form on a page, how do I ensure that clicking "Delete Thing 1" will trigger a submit() event only on the form with id='comment_1'?

  • How to identify multiple identical pairs in two vectors

    In my graph-package (as in graph theory, nodes connected by edges) I have a vector indicating for each edge the node of origin from, a vector indicating for each edge the node of destination to and a vector indicating the curve of each edge curve. By default I want edges to have a curve of 0 if there is only one edge between two nodes and curve of 0.2 if there are two edges between two nodes. The code that I use now is a for-loop, and it is kinda slow: curve <- rep(0,5) from<-c(1,2,3,3,2) to<-c(2,3,4,2,1) for (i in 1:length(from)) { if (any(from==to[i] & to==from[i])) { curve[i]=0.2 } } So basically I look for each edge (one index in from and one in to) if there is any other pair in from and to that use the same nodes (numbers).   • PyQt - How to connect multiple signals to the same widget

    [ ]All1 [ ]All2 [ ]checkbox1A [ ]checkbox1B [ ]checkbox2A [ ]checkbox2B Based on the chart above, a few things need to happen: The All checkboxes only affect the on/off of the column it resides in, and checks on/off all the checkboxes in that column. All checkboxes work in pairs, so if checkbox1A is on/off, checkbox1B needs to be on/off If an All checkbox is checked on, and then the user proceeds to check off one or more checkbox in the column, the All checkbox should be unchecked, but all the checkboxes that are already checked should remain checked. So really this is more like a chain reaction setup. If checkbox All1 is on, then chieckbox1A and 2A will be on, and because they are on, checkbox1B and 2B are also on, but checkbox All2 remains off. I tried hooking up the signals based on this logic, but only the paired logic works 100%. The All checkbox logic only works 50% of the time, and not accurately, and there's no way for me to turn off the All checkbox without turning all already checked checkboxes off. Really really need help ...     If I have an enumeration of dictionaries IEnumerable<IDictionary<string, float>> enumeration can I perform a Linq query on it so that I can select by a value from each dictionary in the enumeration using the same key? I can do this in a loop: float f; foreach (var dictionary in enumeration) { if (dictionary.TryGetValue("some key", out f)) { Console.WriteLine(f); } } (The eventual plan is to compare the performance of the query verses the equivalent nested looping statements (the enumeration itself is formed from either another query or an equivalent set of loops).)

  • Swing: Multiple CellEditors for a column

    Hi, In my JTable, I have two editable numeric columns. The editor for both columns extends AbstractCellEditor and uses a JFormattedTextField as an the editing component. The problem is that the format for input depends on the value of another column in the row. If condition X is met, the number of fraction digits should be Y, otherwise they should be Y+2. I attempted to override the getTableCellEditor(..) method to associate a TableCellEditor per row. See this example. However, since I have two editable columns, sharing a single TableCellEditor object per row gives some very odd results. I don't think this is an appropriate solution. Any ideas on how to approach this would be much appreciated! Thank you!

  • ODBC - multiple connections from one app to the same data source

    I vaguely remember reading somewhere (in MSDN ODBC documentation?) that one application cannot make more than one connection to a single data source. It seemed to me that I need one connection that all the threads of the application will have to share. I was trying to look this information up, but I can't seem to find it anymore. Does anyone know/remember how this works? It all might become a problem in our app, since some of its threads will dynamically connect to data sources of their choice. I don't want to see random connection errors if two of them will connect at the same time to one source, so I wanted to double check this info.

    I have a View that renders something like this: "Item 1" and "Item 2" are <tr> elements from a table. After the user change "Value 1" or "Value 2" I would like to call a Controller and put the result (some HTML snippet) in the div marked as "Result of...". I have some vague notions of JQuery. I know how to bind to the onchage event of the Select element, and call the $.ajax() function, for example. But I wonder if this can be achieved in a more efficient way in ASP.NET MVC2.

What is the best method for achieving this? I dont think that an OnClickListener works like that, and I have seen examples for doing this with an OnTouch event. However, I do not know how to set up button presses with and OnTouch event.

    I've been trying to think this through and figure out if it is possible or not. I'm using zen-cart as shopping cart software, but what I'd like to do, is hard code a page that is basically a list of 7-9 products, next to each product is a checkbox, so I'd like to figure out a way, via html,javascript or jquery to submit whichever forms(products) are checked to the cart. The typical form submission for a product looks something like this(sometimes there may be one or two additional hidden fields): <form name="cart_quantity" action="index.php?action=add_product" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data"> <input type="hidden" name="cart_quantity" value="1"> <input type="hidden" name="products_id" value="7"> <input type="hidden" name="id[6]" value="9" id="attrib-6-9"> <input type="image" src="buy_button.png" alt="Add to Cart" title="Instructional Video Part 1: Add to Cart"> </form> There would be 7-9 of these on the page, each with a checkbox, so I'm assuming a script would need to figure out which ones where checked and submit them via the form action? Maybe there is a better way of going about this that I'm not thinking of because a)it's over my head or b)just haven't figured it out yet. Anyway is something like this possible?

In the where clause I need to match both the two rows attribute values. Is it possible to get the result based on two rows value. Here if size=10 and colour=red. Output should be 1 | p1 | 10 It could be greatly helpful to get a query for this.

    Hi, Assume i have a book entity with an isbn field. When entered a isbn number, i want 2 fields to be updated: title and author. My controller looks like this: def ajaxGetBook = { def book = Book.findByIsbn(params.isbn) if(book==null) book = new Book() render book as JSON } So my call works, and i get a full JSON Book. Now i would like to update 2 texfields by the update attribute <g:remoteField action="ajaxGetBook" update="title" name="isbn" value="${bookInstance?.book?.isbn}" paramName="isbn"/> Now the title field gets updated with the full book object, so that doesn't work. Is it possible to update field title with only the JSON book.title? Is it possible to update more fields at once? I could render book.title as JSON but that works for only one field. Thank you

  • embed multiple youtube videos to chromeless player cue

    So in the project ive been working on i use the youtube API to add a video to a chromeless player (got custom buttons, everything works no problems). It loads the youtube id which it gets from the database (Codeigniter, PHP). But what i would like to see is: instead of loading 1 video, id like to add all the videos i get from the database in the cue of that one player. So only one screen, first video retrieved from dbase gets played first, when its done second get loaded preferably also looped. Is there any way i can achieve this? My first guess would be to save the array with youtube id's somewhere and on state change (when the 'video stop'-event gets fired) load the next id from the array. Havent tried this yet because id prefer if the cue gets just gets filled on the init, so it doesnt have to load after a video has been ended. Is This possible?

    I've want to match any occurrence of a search term (or list of search terms) within the tags of a document. My current solution uses preg (within a Joomla plugin) $pattern = '/matchthisterm/i'; $article->text = preg_replace($pattern,"<span class=\"highlight\">\\0</span>",$article->text); But this replaces everything within the HTML of the document so I need to match the tags first. Is this even the best way to achieve this?

  • cron stops running when processing multiple items

    Cron stops running (no visible error) after a few hours when I add more than 5 jobs in my cron tab. Each job runs every minute (polls a webpage for information which takes 1 second). I tried putting all of my php jobs in a shell script and called this shell script instead but the same problem occurs. Cron stops running, no error in the log file, no error email sent out either. Anyone encountered this before? Where/how canI debug this?

    I'm using the Facebook SDK for my app. I have created a singleton class FacebookHelper to deal with all Facebook related logic. Whenever I make a Facebook request (i.e download friends) I set an enum i.e FacebookRequestDownloadFriends so that FacebookHelper knows how to handle errors and success for that request (since handling can be different between the different requests) This solution has worked out fine until now, because now I'm doing 2 Facebook Requests at the same time so when I set the enum for the first request i.e FacebookRequestDownloadFriends and then it will be overwritten just shortly with another request FacebookRequestDownloadEvents, so there will be confusion obviously. How can I deal with this issue without having to refactor too much code?

    I realized that I can specify $(document).ready(function(){}); more than once. Suppose like this $(document).ready(function(){ var abc = "1122"; //do something.. }); $(document).ready(function(){ var abc = "def"; //do something.. }); Is this standard ? Those codes work on my FF (16.0.2). I just a little afraid that other browser may not. What actually happen ? How jQuery handle those code ? Thanks.
