  I'm trying to execute synonym filtering at query time so that if I search for X, results for Y also show up. I go to where Solr is being run, edit the .txt file and add X, Y on a new line. • Drupal 6: creating location list manually or dynamically via cms...

  Hi friends, I'm starting my first Drupal project, pretty excited :) I have a question; the project is a hotel directory site. at sidebar I have locations list (London, Manchester, Liverpool, etc..) and filter the hotels related on location click. So, how should I create these cities? Should I put them manually and give links manually depending on location id? or is there any better way to create this location list and linking filtering dynamically (via cms, or custom module, etc...) Appreciate advices!!!!

  Our product utilizes (the wonderful) Winpcap to capture ip packets from all devices with an IP address and analyze them in real time. Unfortunately, we discovered that it does NOT capture any packets on dialup (e.g. PPP) connections on Windows 7, and that there are no near-term plans for enabling this (1). So we need something else. Microsoft Network Monitor and Windows Packet Filter are two options that surfaced during a bit of googling, but before delving into research I wanted to ask the experienced: what are out options, given the following requirements: Capture all in/outbound IP packets on the machine. Complete background processing - no UI should be involved. Support Windows Vista / 7. Performance (user should not feel the difference). Thanks in advance.

  I have a CSV file and I would like to filter all the lines where the 19th column has two or more characters. I know the individual pieces but can't figure out how to glue them together. First I have to cat the file. The following prints the 19th column awk -F "," '{print $19}' file.txt awk also has length and ifs And I know it all has to be glued together using pipes.   Now I am trying to add a front end check on my app to detect if user input only number in the textfield.   I'm getting this error when generating a new unit test under Visual Studio 2010 using the context menu (right-click the method name - "Generate Unit Tests"): Private Accessor for methodName is not found. Please rebuild the containing project or run the Publicize.exe manually. The method is public (checked that by applying applying a filter to not show non-public methods in the "Generate Unit Tests" dialog. Visual Studio creates some kind of .accessor file automatically. Do I need to do anything in it? What else could be the problem?

I am trying to write some jquery that will check the text in the title of the current full blog entry page and match it with the corresponding title in the sidebar navigation so that I can apply a class to style for an active state link ... but I'm not quite getting it! • Occasional conversion error using SUM function

  My app uses sql2000 and a select statement it uses will sometimes fail. Once a week or so the select returns the error 'Error Converting data type varchar to numeric' SQL: sum(case when ISNULL(form_prsn_id, -1) = irpd_prsn_id then convert(dec(11,2), case when valu_value = '' then '0' else isnull (valu_value,'0') end)* case when fmdt_deduction_flag = 'Y' then -1 else 1 end else 0 end) as client_sum The valu_value field is a varchar and stores some numeric and some varchar. But including my join and where clause filter it will always select numeric or empty string. When it is failing I can remove the SUM, see the data and know that its numeric. So why would the SUM function sometimes (say 5% of time) fail on data that is numeric. I wonder if SQL somehow "looks ahead" to ensure it could convert to decimal on more than just the rows returned without the sum. Note I have discovered a fix where I include ( where isNumeric(valu_value) = 1 ) Thanks

  Here is the situation dealing with a vb.net website, I have students who will be enrolled into a course. The student grid view has many columns like client_no, student_name, date_of_birth, address, etc. There are over 100000 students so I will need to filter the student grid view to find the correct student to enroll in the course. Once they are found, the user selects them and somehow moves them to the enrolled grid view. If a student drops out then they would be removed from the enrolled grid view. This process needs to be easy to understand and use. Are there any examples available or other suggestions on how to do this?

  How would I translate this into LINQ? Say I have A parent table (Say, customers), and child (addresses). I want to return all of the Parents who have addresses in California, and just the california address. (but I want to do it in LINQ and get an object graph of Entity objects) Here's the old fashioned way: SELECT c.blah, a.blah FROM Customer c INNER JOIN Address a on c.CustomerId = a.CustomerId where a.State = 'CA' The problem I'm having with LINQ is that i need an object graph of concrete Entity types (and it can't be lazy loaded. • R from java with no graphics: is it worth moving to JRI

  I have a system set up that's been happily running R from a java servlet, spawning processed & hooking into the process's stdin, stdout, and stderr streams, as in the second andwer to this question. After a system upgrade (that included glibc), the input is no longer reaching the R process.* Until now, 'R --vanilla --slave -f [file] ...' was working fine for me. I also have no swing dependencies right now, so I'm somewhat reluctant to add them. (I may actually not be able to add swing dependencies; am I right that using REngine automatically brings swing in? The examples import all of swing.) Are there advantages to switching to JRI? What changes would I need to make to my R script? (It currently reads from stdin and writes to stdout). I'm not finding the provided examples terribly helpful for how to use JRI in this situation. Thanks for your help & comments. *I can't even tell if the problem is data being written too soon or too late, but that's a separate issue/question; if I move to JRI I'm hoping it all becomes moot.

Meaning in each index in the List a directory. How can i do it ? Tried with Directory and DirectoryInfo but i just got messed up.

  Hello. I have been trying to create an application using OpenCV and Visual Studio 2008, to capture images from a webcam, apply a filter to them, and then write them to an AVI file. Everything works, except creating the AVI file. The problem is that it works on my computer, but it doesn't work on my colleague's computer. The reason for that (I think) is that he does not have the necessary video encoders for OpenCV to use. The cvCreateVideoWriter function does not return NULL, but I end up with a 0kb file on the disk.

I also have an invoice table that is dbo.invoices with invoicecompanyId column (which is the same as the companyId on the other table) and it also has a column called invoicedate. • Can't access a property with <html:checkbox property="..."> when iterating a list

  Hi. In my Struts form I've got a list. In a JSP I iterate over it like this: <c:forEach items="${MyForm.auspraegungen}" var="auspraegung"> <tr> <td>${auspraegung.name}</td> <td>${auspraegung.forced}</td> <td>${auspraegung.cbx_uebernehmen}</td> <html:checkbox property="auspraegung.cbx_uebernehmen" /> </tr> </c:forEach> Now the <html:checkbox isn't working. I'm always getting the following error: Caused by: javax.servlet.jsp.JspException: No getter method for property auspraegung.cbx_uebernehmen of bean org.apache.struts.taglib.html.BEAN But actually there is a getter for this property in my form class. It's written like this: public Boolean getCbx_uebernehmen() { return cbx_uebernehmen; } When I remove the checkbox it's also possible to display the property as in the <td>-tag above so I don't know where the problem is. Maybe I'm accessing it in the wrong way?

  I have a couple of tables where there are one to many relationships. Let's say I have a Country table, a State table with a FK to Country, and a City table with a FK to State. I'd like to be able to create a count of all Cities for a given country, and also a count of cities based on a filter - something like: foreach( var country in Model.Country ) { total = country.State.All().City.All().Count() ; filtered = country.State.All().City.Any(c=>c.field == value).Count(); } Obviously, this doesn't work - is there any way to do this?

• MySQL LEFT JOIN issue with three WHERE statements

  I am building a note taking app for myself with tag filtering functions, but am having an issue when trying to grab notes with the tags. The tag filter needs to use AND not IN, because it will help better narrow down what I am looking for. My tables are configured like this: + notes note_id | note_title | note_uid + tags tag_id | tag_title + notes_tags nt_id | nt_note_id | nt_tag_id The notes_tags table keeps track of all notes' tags. I am not worried about returning any information about tags, so here is an example LEFT JOIN I am using currently to only get notes with only 1 tag. SELECT * FROM notes_tags LEFT JOIN notes ON note_id = nt_note_id WHERE note_uid IN ( 1 ) AND nt_tag_id = 10 This query runs perfect, it grabs all of the notes with that single tag. However, I am having issues "pinpointing" my notes using a query like this: SELECT * FROM notes_tags LEFT JOIN notes ON note_id = nt_note_id WHERE note_uid IN ( 1 ) AND nt_tag_id = 10 AND nt_tag_id = 11 What am I doing wrong with the syntax?
