    Hello, colleagues. I've got a problem with SilverLight default VS2008 project. Wnen i create new SL project and choose ASP.NET Web Site web project type all is ok, at my browser I see default template. But when I choose ASP.NET Web application, at running I get blank browser screen with js error: "Unhandled Error in Silverlight Application Code: 2104 Category: InitializeError Message: Could not download the Silverlight application.   • Compiling a DLL which includes Ogre3D gives an assertion error when used

    Hi, I have a framework that I am building and is being compiled into a static library to be used by other projects. The library works perfectly without issues. The problem is that the link time is very long for the projects that use the library so I thought I will make a DLL project of the same framework. I started with baby steps and created an MFC DLL project through visual studio. When a project uses the compiled DLL and constructs this (OgreCore) class, it works perfectly fine. As soon as uncomment one of the Ogre includes and compile the DLL again, the project that uses the DLL now gives an assertion error. The full details can be found here in the Ogre forum post.   • Multiple Git repositories in one directory

    Hello, I would like to deploy a directory to multiple developers having different permissions. So this is one thing Git cannot do. What about creating two repositories in one directory and assigning them different file lists by excluding files managed by the other repository with the .gitignore file. Example: /www/project/.git for all files execpt in /www/project/css /www/project/css/.git - only files in this directory Has anyone tried this solution? Or are there any better ways to handle this issue? Regards, Jakob

    Hi, I'm parsing the App.config file of a project. This config file has been loaded from a caller project. Inside the called project, I have something like: XmlDocument xmlDoc = new XmlDocument(); xmlDoc.Load("app.config"); // Some parsing... Unfortunately the app.config file is not correctly located. Apparently the Load method is browsing the ~/bin/Release directory of the caller project, but the app.config file is located in the ~ directory. Is there any way I can load this App.config file correctly? Thanks

    I have a project in C# and I get this error every time I try to compile the project : (Unable to copy file "obj\Debug\Project1.exe" to "bin\Debug\Project1.exe". The process cannot access the file 'bin\Debug\Project1.exe' because it is being used by another process.), so I have to close the process from the task manager. my project is only one form and there is no multithreading. what is the solution (without restarting VS or Killing the process)?

    I have an ordinary project with JUnit tests that are connected to the classes in my Android Project. I want my server to run some JUnit tests in my testproject everytime I commit my code from my Android Project. Is there a best practise to do this? So far I only managed to run the tests when they are a part of a while the JUnit tests and Android classes are separated into 2 different projects, since JUnit runs on JVM and Android in an emulator on DVM (Dalvik Virtual Machine).
