    So i am testing a couple of API, and after sorting a couple of them, i am undecided between zemanta and opencalais. A can use both perfectly at home, but at the company behind the proxy, i can put them working, even when running the same examples.     I just came across a new BASIC implementation for Google Android application called Simple. You can read about it here: http://google-opensource.blogspot.com/2009/07/programming-made-simple.html Clearly, a lot of time and effort has been recently put into enabling this functionality for Android. Should the software industry continue to encourage non-programmers into learning BASIC, or are modern languages like C#, Python, Ruby more appropriate at this time?

    Would you consider autoboxing in Java to be a form of polymorphism? Put another way, do you think autoboxing extends the polymorphic capabilities of Java? What about implicit conversions in Scala? My opinion is that they are both examples of polymorphism. Both features allow values of different data types to be handled in a uniform manner. My colleague disagrees with me. Who is right?

    Hi, some short and probably stupid questions about PBS: 1- I submit jobs using qsub job_file is it possible to submit a (sub)job inside a job file? 2- I have the following script: qsub job_a qsub job_b For launching job_b, it would be great to have before the results of job_a finished. Is it possible to put some kind of barrier or some otehr workaround so job_b is not launched until job_a finished? Thanks

    I have put the attribute [FaultContract(typeof(ExceptionDetail))] for my operation contract. When I am trying to add the service th' a client app, I get this error - "Custom tool error: Failed to generate code for the service reference 'ServiceReference1'. Please check other error and warning messages for details." But when I comment out the FaultContract Attribute, I am able to add the wcf service reference th' my client app. Would appreciate if somebody can help me solve this mystery. Thanks

    Hi all I might be looking at this the wrong way, but I have a form that does its thing (sends emails etc etc) but I also put in some code to make a simple flatfile csv log with some of the user entered details. If a user accidentally puts in for instance 'himynameis","bob' this would either break the csv row (because the quotes weren't encapsulated) or if I use htmlspecialchars() and stripslashes() on the data, I end up with a ugly data value of 'himynameis&quot;,&quot;bob'.     I'm building a tabbed WPF application. I'm planning to put MapPoint control (ActiveX) on one of the tabs. I want to have the option to float this tab just like in VS 2010. The resulting widow must contain the same instance of the MapPoint control (because each instance of the control starts up separate MapPoint instance). Any idea how to implement this?

  • Make a jqGrid moveable

    As it appears that jqGrid is based on the jQuery dialog, is it possible to make it movable (like a dialog)? I've been able to put it inside of a dialog but it looks odd with two title bars and such. I'd "think" that the necessary class could be added to it to make it movable but I'm still fairly new at both jQuery and jqGrid.

One is a foundation tool which i need in the resources Bin of the other Target, which is a Bundle App. I am not able to add the Target one into the Copy Bundle Resources Build Phase of the Bundle App. Do I need to use a Copy Files Build phase and put the File out of the build/Release Folder into it? Now, i figure out that i have to write buddy class for every model or i have to go to designer generated code and put my annotations there (not a good idea though). if someone can suggest me a solution that helps me avoid writing those buddy classes and get the same functionality.
