• DateTimeAxis - set Label to display Date + Time

  Hi, Is there a way in flex 3 chart component to display both the date and time using horizontal DateTimeAxis? Currently the DateTimeAxis element has an attribute dataunits which allows to set the value to any of "milliseconds|seconds|minutes|hours|days|weeks|months|years" but I want to display the label as "2009/09/15 06:00:00" which includes the day and the time too. • how to set the tabs in the bottom of the screen in android?

  hi all, i am working on tabactivity. i wanna show my tabwidget below the tabcontent(framelayout). i done it by setting the tabwiget tab attribute as android:gravity="bottom" but the framelayout cant align with those tabs. that is the tabs are shown at the bottom of the screen and overlap the framelayout how to do that? if set some height value to the framelayout it not optimized for all screens of android. what can i do? any idea???

Once i get the attribute list i am creating the radio buttons using createElement() 3. Then i am attaching the event to the radio button for onclick buttons. 4. • Boost singleton and undefined reference

  Hello, I globally use singleton pattern in my project. To make it easier - boost::singleton. Current project uses Ogre3d library for rendering. Here is some class: class GraphicSystem : public singleton<GraphicSystem> { private: Ogre::RenderWindow *mWindow; public: Ogre::RenderWindow *getWindow() const { return mWindow; } }; In GraphicSystem constructor I fill the mWindow value: mWindow = mRoot->createRenderWindow(...); I cheked it, everything makes normally. So, now I have to use handler for the window in input system (to get window handle). Somewhere else in another class: Ogre::RenderWindow *temp = GraphicSystem::get_mutable_instance().getWindow(); GraphicSystem::get_mutable_instance().getWindow()->getCustomAttribute("WINDOW", &mWindowHandle); temp is 0x00, and there is segfault at last line (getting custon attribute). I can't understand, why does singleton returns undefined pointer for the window. All another singleton-based classes work well.

  Hi, I'm working on a project for the iPad, I need to read and write to an xml file, which is also used by the counter part of the application in windows. The problem that I have is that I've been looking around but I haven't found a way to modify an element or attribute in an xml, without having to build the whole xml again. I saw this other post, which is basically the same problem that I have, and I also end it up in the same point as the person asking the question, NSXMLParser and TouchXML are read only and do not allowed me to modify my xml. Any other suggestion about what can I use? Thanks!

• Database Design for One to One relationships

  I'm trying to finalize my design of the data model for my project, and am having difficulty figuring out which way to go with it. I have a table of users, and an undetermined number of attributes that apply to that user. The attributes are in almost every case optional, so null values are allowed. Each of these attributes are one to one for the user. Should I put them on the same table, and keep adding columns when attributes are added (making the user table quite wide), or should I put each attribute on a separate table with a foreign key to the user table. I have decided against using the EAV model. Thanks!

  I have a model with a validation. At runtime, I'd like to change a value of the validation. For example: in the model bid.rb: class Bid ActiveRecord::Base @foo = Foo.find(1) validates_inclusion_of :amt, :in => [email protected], :message => "must be between 1 and #{@foo.bar}" end and in the application_controller (pseudocode): if today == 'wednesday' Foo.update(1, :bar => 10) else Foo.update(1, :bar => 5) end However, this setup isn't working. The "foo" attribute never updates. It seems that the validation code is set only when the dev server starts and then doesn't change.

  Hello people, http://www.atwebresults.com/php_ajax_image_upload/ I am using this script for so-called AJAX file upload but which is actually based on opening of iframe and then submitting form from it. What my problem is, I am using this script in a form which will have some other fields too. So after uploading the image, when I click submit at the end of the form, the form is submitted to the file which was opened in iFrame. As I am not an expert in JS, can you guys help me with this? I tried changing the action attribute and tried to completely remove the form too, but nothing helped.

(GCC, ARM NEON, iPhone) typedef struct{ float v[4]; } Vector; typedef struct{ Vector v[4]; } Matrix; I passed struct data as pointer to avoid performance degrade from data copying when calling function. So I thought designed function like this: void makeTranslation(const Vector* factor, Matrix* restrict result); But, if function is inline, is there any reason to pass values as pointer for performance? Do those variables copied too? How about register and caches? inline Matrix makeTranslation(Vector factor) __attribute__ ((always_inline)); How do you think about calling costs of each cases?

  Hi, I'm using this script for my online shopping basket: http://www.webresourcesdepot.com/fly-to-basket-effect-with-jquery/. Like people suggest in the comments it's easy buggy when you click multiple times on the same image. How can I disable the img link when it's clicked once and re-enable it when the product is added to the basket? I've tried setting the attribute HREF of to # in the beginning of the function, but that doesn't help. So when a user clicks the function needs to be executed, but the link should be disabled as long as the function is busy. thanks in advance for your help.

• Column.DbType affecting runtime behavior

  Hi According to the MSDN docs, the DbType property/attribute of a Column type/element is only used for database creation. Yet, today, when trying to submit data to an IMAGE column on a SQLCE database (not sure if only on CE), I got an exception of 'Data truncated to 8000 bytes'. This was due to the DbType still being defined as VARBINARY(MAX) which SQLCE does not support. Changing the type to IMAGE in the DbType fixes the issue. So what other surprises does Linq2SQL attributes hold in store? Is this a bug or intended? Should I report it to MS? UPDATE After getting the answer from Guffa, I tested it, but it seems for NVARCHAR(10) adding a 11 char length string causes a SQL exception, and not Linq2SQL one. The data was truncated while converting from one data type to another. I'am trying to port a small piece of someone else's code to Python and this is what I have: typedef struct { uint8_t Y[LUMA_HEIGHT][LUMA_WIDTH]; uint8_t Cb[CHROMA_HEIGHT][CHROMA_WIDTH]; uint8_t Cr[CHROMA_HEIGHT][CHROMA_WIDTH]; } __attribute__((__packed__)) frame_t; frame_t frame; while (! feof(stdin)) { fread(&frame, 1, sizeof(frame), stdin); // DO SOME STUFF } Later I need to access the data like so: frame.Y[x][y] So I made a Class 'frame' in Python and inserted the corresponding variables(frame.Y, frame.Cb, frame.Cr). I have tried to sequentially map the data from Y[0][0] to Cr[MAX][MAX], even printed out the C struct in action but didn't manage to wrap my head around the method used to put the data in there. I've been struggling overnight with this and have to get back to the army tonight, so any immediate help is very welcome and appreciated. Thanks

  Hello to all. I need to implement parent page redirection from iframe. I know that it is impossible to do in different domains due to browsers security. However I found that links have target attribute and tried to use it in the following way: <a href="http://google.com" target="_top" id="testParentRedirect">someLink</a> It works fine if I click this link manually, but I couldn't find cross-browser solution to simulate it using javascript. document.getElementById('testParentRedirect').click(); This works fine in IE, however Firefox and Safary don't know click function :). I tried to work with jquery, but for some reason they don't simulate click event for links. (see following post) I couldn't find any appropriate solution on stackoverflow. Maybe someone could help me in it. I will appreciate it. :)

• Call function from hyperlink defined in qTip content

  Hi, I am trying to call a javascript function from a hyperlink that is part of the content in a qTip. I keep getting the error my function is not defined but it is defined within the page and can be called outside of qTip. Below is what I have so far: function addTooltip() { $("#mycontent").qtip({ content: 'mylink' }); } function tester() { alert("hello world"); } If I put the alert within the onClick attribute, I at least get the alert to work. Is there some special way of calling a function from within qTip? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

My concern over TDD is that where does it fit in our SDLC. Suppose i get a requirement of making order processing system. Now, without having any model & design of this system, how can i start writing test. Shouldn't we require to define the entities & its attribute to proceed. If not, is it possible to develop big system without any design. I am really very confused over it. Can anyone help me to start TDD. Thanks in advance.

  Hay guys, I'm writing a simple app which logs recipes. I'm working out my models and have stumbled across a problem My Dish models needs to have many Ingredients. This is no problem because i would do something like this ingredients = models.ManyToManyfield(Ingredient) No problems, my dish now can have many ingrendients. However, the problem is that the ingredient needs to come in different quantities. I.E 4 eggs, 7 tablespoons sugar My Ingredient Model is very simple at the moment class Ingredient(models.Model): name = models.TextField(blank=False) slug = models.SlugField(blank=True) How would i go about work out this problem? What fields would i need to add, would i need to use a 'through' attribute on my ManyToManyfield to solve this problem?

• Binding Properties.Settings to Textbox fails

  I would like to define a key & value in Settings.settings and bind the value by declaration in the XAML (not in the code behind by command). Here's what I've been trying in vain: Create a WPF project "Exp1" with Visual Studio Express 2010. Set one key named "TextFromSettings" to the value "Some Text from Setting". Add the attribute xmlns:p="clr-namespace:Exp1.Properties;assembly=Exp1" to the tag. Add Text="{Binding Path=TextFromSettings, Mode=TwoWay, Source={x:Static p:Settings.Default}}" to the tag Now, the preview window shows the text, however, the compiler fails: "Error 1 Cannot find the type 'Settings'. Note that type names are case sensitive." Where am I going wrong?

  I am using jsdom with nodeJS. I load in a large HTML document, and am using jQuery to navigate the DOM. I have a case where I have an element, and I need to access the function body of an event listener (onclick). The event listener was added in the source HTML: <a href="#" onclick="javascript:window.open('http://<rest-of-url>'); return false;"></a> The onclick attribute of the DOM element is undefined. btw: what I really want to do is get the URL (please note that <rest-of-url> is not what is in the source, a real URL spec is there) that is specified in the source.
