• Log Files from bash script output

  I have a script that runs (this works fine). I'd like to produce logfiles from its output and still show it on screen. I have this command that creates three files from this blog: ((./fk.sh 2>&1 1>&3 | tee errors.log) 3>&1 1>&2 | tee output.log) 2>&1 | tee final.log This does exactly what I want it to. My only issue is that I create files in my script and copy them somewhere, and I'd like to copy these logfiles there too, which I can't do whilst this script is running. I also wanted to make it easier for any user to run my script, so I created another script to run this script. According to this post (see last post) I can put a . before the script name and I can use variables assigned in my called script from the first script if I use them in the first. It doesn't seem to work though and I can't figure out why or find alternative methods. Can anyone help?

Now, based on some condition, I would like to create a <span> tag instead and put the attributes in there. Is there anyway it can be done easily ? Eg: something like: <span <%= htmlAttributes.Unpack() %> > Some txt </span> OR <%= Html.SpanTag("Some txt", htmlAttributes) %> OR anything similar without wresling too much with the already generated htmlAttribues? • Orange Brightbox and NO-IP.com

  Strange one here i didnt know where to ask, and i know this is a developer resource but i was hoping with everyones tech know how someone may have a solution for my problem. Ok i had an orange livebox before and in the dynamic dns settings it had no-ip.com as a drop down option with login variables to update my account with a dynamic ip address. This worked great for years. However my livebox died and i now have a orange brightbox, and this doesnt have no-ip.com as a login update option for dynamic dns on my router. Does any one have any idea how i can get my domain to point to my home server with a dynamic ip address ideally for free? This is merely for testing and to have a backup server for my main remote server.

  Hi! The end of my loop causes a EXC_BAD_ACCESS. Here's my dictionary (AppDelegate.data): 1 = ( 3, "Test 1", False, "" ); 2 = ( 4, "Test 2", False, "" ); And here is my loop: for (id theKey in AppDelegate.data) { if (theKey = nil) { NSLog(@"HOLY COW"); } else { NSLog(@"Key: %@ ?", theKey); } } It never says holy cow, and it says the right key but at the end it crashes... Do you have any idea why? It should only loop on 1 and two and then exit the loop... I know that there's always a "nil" object at the end that's why I did a condition with it but it doesn't look like it works at all.. Thanks!

I'm able to get this set using Django query API if I ignore the relation to LessonPlan: class TeacherAssignment(models.Model): # ... model's fields def get_years(self): year_values = self.objects.all().values_list('year').distinct().order_by('-year') return [yv[0] for yv in year_values if len(yv[0]) == 4] Unfortunately I don't know how to express the condition that the TeacherAssignment must be related to at least one LessonPlan.   I can't get the general log to work in this version of MySQL. I've tried the following SQL expression: SELECT * FROM task WHERE strftime ('%d', 'start_date') <= @day AND @day <= strftime ('%d', 'end_date') Where @day is an SQLiteParameter (eq 5). But no result is returned. How can I solve this problem? Thanks.

• sudo su - username while keeping ssh key forwarding

  If I have a server A into which I can login with my ssh key and I have the ability to "sudo su - otheruser", I lose key forwarding, because the env variables are removed and the socket is only readable by my original user. Is there a way I can bridge the key forwarding through the "sudo su - otheruser", so I can do stuff on a server B with my forwarded key (git clone and rsync in my case)? The only way I can think of is adding my key to authorized_keys of otheruser and "ssh otheruser@localhost", but that's cumbersome to do for every user and server combination I may have.

  Using a VM I installed Windows 2008 Server x64 and as the image below shows, added the IIS Role full image and assigned all role features of IIS full image But if I have an ASP.NET (aspx) page that does (C#) Session["test-session"] = "A"; and read in other page I always get nothing! NOTE: I do have an entire ASP.NET web application, the example above is to be succinct and explicit on what is the problem I'm facing. • How can I join on a CSV varchar?

  I have a varchar field that contains a string like "10,11,12,13". How can I use that CSV string to join to another table with those IDs? Here's the approach I'm taking now: select * from SomeTable a WHERE (',' + @csvString + ',') LIKE '%,' + CONVERT(varchar(25), a.ID) + ',%' Where @csvString is "10,11,12,...". I intend to use this method as a join condition as well. That method works, but it's rather slow (using CAST doesn't improve the speed). I understand that having CSVs in the database like that is usually a very silly idea in most cases, but there's nothing I can do about that.

  I'm trying to update certain controls according to a selection in a dropdown list. Also, when the instructions in the condition is executed, nothing changes. What am I doing wrong? Maybe this is a very easy issue, but I'm a begginer in MS Visual Web Developer.

  when doing simple query on 4 inner joined tables, the server crashes with the output below appearing in the the mysql .err file. eg. select * from table1 inner join table2 on table1.a = table2.a and table1.b = table2.b inner join table3 on table2.a = table3.a and table2.c = table3.c inner join table4 on table3.a = table4.a and table3.d = table4.d If i remove one of the tables it executes fine. Likewise if I remove a different table, it executes fine. Though all tables have been checked anyway, this would suggest that it is not a problem specifically with one of the tables. mysql.err trace: 100503 18:13:19 - mysqld got signal 11 ; This could be because you hit a bug. Here is an example of column names for a table 'Person': PersonalID, FirstName, LastName, Car, HairColour, FavDrink, FavFood Let's say that I input the row: 121312, Rayna, Pieterson, BMW123d, Brown, NULL, NULL Now I want to update the values for this person, but only if the new value is not null, Update: 121312, Rayna, Pieterson, NULL, Blonde, Fanta, NULL The new row needs to be: 121312, Rayna, Pieterson, BMW123d, Blonde, Fanta, NULL So I was thinking something along the lines of: Update Person(PersonalID, FirstName, LastName, Car, HairColour, FavDrink, FavFood) set Car = @Car (where @Car is not null), HairColour = @HairColour (where @HairColour...)... etc. My only concern is that I can't group all the conditions at the end of the query because it will require all the values to have the same condition. Can't i do something like Update HairColour if @HairColour is not Null

  Although in Oracle DB its is allowed to parametrize the number of rows that the query can fetch by adding to the query: select ... from ... where ... and rownum <= @MaximumRecords I can't add similar condition to acuivalent query running in DB2: It is allowed to add: select ... from ... where ... fetch first 500 rows only (where there is fixed number of rows) but not: select ... from ... where ... fetch first :1 rows only (:1 == @MaximumRecords) Is someone aware of a solution/work-around to this problem?

• MySQL takes forever after running certain php scripts... optimization help?

  When I run a couple scripts from the vBulletin software (like uninstalling a plugin) it takes forever. When monitoring the memory usage, it shows this = -/+ buffers/cache: 158 381 Swap: 255 10 245 It seems that MySQL is only using a certain amount and once it does it tries to use the swap instead? I have a 512MB slice and right now my key buffer is at 16M and max_allowed_packet is at 16M. Is there something else I should increase or can I increase those variables and still be safe? Thanks.

• Unable to install Android for Windows 7 because JDK is not found

  I have JDK SE7u4 installed in windows 7. I tried to install Android on Windows 7 using the installer_r18-windows.exe but no avail. The setup window showed the message saying that the Java SE JDK not found and ERROR: Failed to find Java version for C:\Windows\System32\java.exe The system cannot found the file specified. If you believe you have a JDK installed and it was not properly recognized, simply set an environment variable JAVA_HOME to point to it I right clicked on Computer Properties Advanced System Settings Environment variables. I created a NEW system variable called JAVA_HOME and set the value as C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_04\bin or C:\Windows\System32\java.exe. I ran the installer again — the same error message still appeared.

• Android: Having trouble creating a subclass of application to share data with multiple Activities

  Hello, I just finished a couple of activities in my game and now I was going to start to wire them both up to use real game data, instead of the test data I was using just to make sure each piece worked. Since multiple Activities will need access to this game data, I started researching the best way to pass this data to my Activities. I know about using putExtra with intents, but my GameData class has quite a bit of data and not just simple key value pairs. Besides quite a few basic data types, it also has large arrays. I didn't really want to try and pass all that, unless I can pass the entire object, instead of just key/data pairs. I read the following post and thought it would be the way to go, but so far, I haven't got it to work. Android: How to declare global variables? I created a simple test app to try this method out, but it keeps crashing and my code seems to look the same as in the post above - except I changed the names. Here is the error I am getting.
