• Sharepoint Designer Workflow with multiple tasks in sequence

  I have a multi-step Sharepoint workflow in task list A that starts when a new task is created in that list and creates a task in another list, B. When that task in list B is completed, I would like the workflow in list A to create another task in list C. I am using Sharepoint Designer 2007 to build all of this and at the moment I have this represented by multiple steps. So, step one is to create the task in the other list, and store its ID as a variable. Step 2 is conditional on a value in the task created by step one being marked complete, and it creates a task in the next list, and so on. However, when I run the workflow, it marks its status as complete as soon as the item in the first list is completed, and does not go on to create the task outlined in Step 2 of the workflow. I would like to know why the workflow is marking itself complete at the end of step one, and why the subsequent steps are not executed. Thanks in advance for your help.

  People can download content (music, images) for their mobile from my server. Im trying to use the installNotifyURI-tag of the download descriptors specified by OMA, to be able to find out if the download has been successful. When the user has downloaded the item I do get a POST to the url I specified in the installNotifyURI-tag. <installNotifyURIhttp://joynes.se/mytest.php</installNotifyURI Although I never get any status code. • Android AlertDialog with dynamically changing text on every request

  I want to show an AlertDialog with one option that might change on every request. So for example at one time I want to show the option "add to contacts" while another time it should be "remove from contacts". My code does work on the first time, however Android seems to cache the AlertDialog so that onCreateDialog is not executed next time. Therefore the option doesnt change anymore. Can I prevent this caching, or is there just another way of changing the option? I am working with SDK 1.5 but using 1.1. @Override protected Dialog onCreateDialog(final int id) { ... • Can't resignFirstResponder with UITextView

  I have a UITextView. I implemented a navigationBar UIBarButtonItem to respond to a touch and resign the firstResponder for my UITextView. But, when the selector method is called, the keyboard doesn't get dismissed. I checked the UITextView's responder status with isFirstResponder and it returns YES. I also checked it with canResignFirstResponder and the return value is NO. I must be missing something here...why is it returning NO? I get that I can override canResignFirstResponder by subclassing UITextView, but I'd like to avoid that if possible.   Hello, I'm wondering if anyone can help me understand some asynchronous javascript concepts... Say I make an asynch ajax call like so: xmlhttp=new XMLHttpRequest(); xmlhttp.onreadystatechange= myFoo; xmlhttp.open("GET",url,true); Here is my callback function: function myFoo() { if (xmlhttp.readyState==4) { if (xmlhttp.status==200) { // Success message } else { // some error message } } } Now, where and when does the execution path start again? Once I make the call to open(), does execution continue directly below the open() and another "thread" enters the asynch function once the ajax request has been completed? Or, does the browser wait for the request to complete, make the Asynch call, and then execution continues right after the open? Thanks!

  I'm commiting a large changeset, including a large binary file (180 MB) over a slow VPN connection. It looks for all the world like it is stalled. How can I diagnose where it is stuck? The output is: $ svn commit -m "My commit message" Connecting to deprecated signal QDBusConnectionInterface::serviceOwnerChanged(QString,QString,QString)` Local subversion is 1.6.9 on Linux, KDE 4.3, and svn status shows ML . L ws M ws/manage.py L ws/locales L ws/locales/ja_JP L ws/locales/ja_JP/LC_MESSAGES The process isn't using much of any resources. The server is Linux, served by Apache and mod_dav_svn, same subversion 1.6.9. I can't see any process that is handling the commit.

• Real-time data on webpage with jQuery

  I would like a webpage that constantly updates a graph with new data as it arrives. Regularly, all the data you have is passed to the page at the beginning of the request. However, I need the page to be able to update itself with fresh information every few seconds to redraw the graph. Background The webpage will be similar to this http://www.panic.com/blog/2010/03/the-panic-status-board/. The data coming in will temperature values to be graphed measured by an Arduino and saved to the Django database (this part is already complete). Update It sounds as though the solution is to use the jQuery.ajax() function ( http://api.jquery.com/jQuery.ajax/) with a function as the .complete callback that will schedule another request several seconds later to a URL that will return the data in JSON format. How can that method be scheduled? With the .delay() function?

  After I have validated the receipt against the App Store from my PHP server, the App Store sends me back a JSON response with "status" : 0 "receipt" : ( .... ) One of the receipt items is "purchase_date" which contains the following string (example) "2010-02-09 19:17:04 Etc/GMT" I'm trying to establish a subscription service and would like to add 3 months to this date and then write that expiry date into a MySQL table. Is there a string-to-date type function in PHP that can allow me to achieve the adding of 3 months? I have found this example which looks like it adds 1 month to a date: $date = date("Y-m-d");// current date $date = strtotime(date("Y-m-d", strtotime($date)) . " +1 month"); But I'm not sure how I can turn the string passed by the App Store into a PHP recognised date.

• Hide segment in URL but give code access to hidden segment

  I'm using Structure and have a "Supernav" page with multiple children that will make up the supernav for the site. I thought this would be a nice way to have all pages on the site accessible to the client via one location: the Structure UI. If you visit any of the child pages in the "supernav" group the URL comes out like this: http://website.com/supernav/prospective-students I'd love to be able to remove the supernav segment of those URLs so that it ends up being: http://website.com/prospective-students I don't even want the supernav segment to appear in the status bar when you hover over these links on the page. Is this possible? With CodeIgniter this comes down to a simple routing rule, but I don't know if that's an option with EE. Appreciate any help I can get!

• Storyboard editor layout confusion

  I am having layout problems with the storyboard editor with a fairly simple screen. I have a UIViewController to which I have added a 320x440 UIScrollView at 0,0 followed by a 320x20 UIProgressBar at 0,440. It looks fine in Storyboard editor. I'm not entirely sure how the 20 pixel status bar at the top of the screen is accommodated given the CGRect frame coordinates that Storyboard calculates. On loading ( in -(void)viewDidLoad ), the UIScrollView frame seems to be set to 320x460 pixels at 0,0 but the UIProgressBar is still 320x20 at 0,440. When I add subviews to the UIScrollView, (UIImageViews in particular), they get stretched and get clipped on the screen because although the UIScrollView thinks it is 460 pixels high, it only has 440 pixels of screen to display in. Can anyone point me to a solution? Thanks

It seems to me that the break command does not work. What can be a possible reason for that. The interesting thing is that it happens not all the time. Sometimes my program works fine, sometimes the above described problem happens.

• Kubunutu/Windows 7 dual-boot and git

  I've been using Kubuntu and Windows 7 on my laptop for some time. Recently I also started using git to keep track of a project I'm working on. At first I thought I'd use the same git repo for editing from both Kubuntu and Win, but I soon discovered that committing changes on Win would make git on Kubuntu think all the files have changed since the last commit, although the change doesn't seem to be content related. The exactly same thing happens if I do a commit on Kubuntu and right after that do a git status on Win. I know I could use different repos for Kubuntu and Win and just merge them together when I'm done, but if anyone knows how I could use the same repo I would really appreciate the help.

  I have downloaded the predicate builder and am having a difficult time getting it to work with the entity framework. Here is my code: v_OrderDetail is the entity var context = new OrdersEntities(); Expression<Func<v_OrderDetail,bool>> whereClause = w => true; var predicate = PredicateBuilder.True<v_OrderDetail>(); predicate.And(w => w.Status == "Work"); var results = context.v_OrderDetail.AsExpandable().Where(predicate); When I look at the results I get back every order. The And predicate doesn't seem to take. When I look at the predicate.parameters.count it only shows 1. I'm not sure, but I would expect it to show 2 after I add the second one. Any help is greatly appreciated.
