  • Configure IIS 7 Reverse Proxy to connect to TeamCity Tomcat

    We have an IIS 7 webserver configured and would like to create a reverse proxy for a TeamCity installation using Tomcat on the same machine. The IIS server site is https://somesite and I would like the TeamCity to appear as https://somesite/teamcity redirecting to http://localhost:portnumber. I have installed the IIS URL Rewrite extension and the Application Request Routing to try and setup a reverse proxy but can't get it working. The closest answer I found is an old StackOverflow question: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/331755/how-do-i-setup-teamcity-for-public-access-over-https which unfortunately doesn't have any working example. I've searched a quite a bit but can't seem to find a relevant example. Any help is appreciated!

    Hi ! (Yes, this is a quite opened and general and subjective question -- it's by design, cause I want tips you think are great !) I'm using Eclipse PDT 2.1 to work in PHP, either for small and/or big projects -- I've been doing so for quite some times, now, actually (since before 1.0 stable, if I remember well)... I was wondering if any of you did know "tips" to be more efficient. Let met explain more in details : I know about things like plugins like Aptana (better editor for JS/CSS), Subversive (for SVN access), RSE, Filesync, integrating Xdebug's debugger, ... What I mean by "tips" is more some little things you discovered one day and since use all the time -- and allow you to be more efficient in your PHP projects. Some examples of "tips" that come to my mind, and that already know and use : ctrl+space to open the list of suggestions for functions / variables names ctrl+shift+R (navigate > open resource) to open a popup which show only files which names contain what you type ; ie, quick opening of files this one might be the perfect example : I know this one is not often known by coworkers and they find it as useful as I do ; so, I guess there might be lots of other things like this one I don't know myself ^^ ctrl+M to switch to full-screen view for the editor (instead of double-click on tabs bar) shift+F2 while on a function name, to open it's page if the PHP manual in a browser Attention Mac Users use Command instead Control. I guess you get the point ; but I'm really open to any suggestion (be it eclipse-related in general, of more PHP/PDT-specific) that can help be be more efficient :-) Anyway, thanks in advance for your help !

The problem is that the files open like they are supposed to and the names are correct but nothing is on any of the text screens.   • Visual C++ 2008 runtime error-- debug vs release exe problem?

    Hi everyone, I have a Windows executable (native, not .Net) project that I'm trying to pass along to a new team member. It's a graphics modeling tool that uses the Qt widget library and OpenGL. The project runs fine on my box but when we buld and link it on this new member's machine and he tries deubugging it, here's what he sees (not all entries included, for brevity): ModelingTool.exe': Loaded 'C:\ModelingTool\ModelingTool\ModelingTool\Debug\ModelingTool.exe', Symbols loaded.     I am trying to make tcp ip connection to a server xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx with port xxxx. But I am getting error message "10061 connection refused". I think firewall on the server is stopping my program to access that port. How can I configure the firewall of server to allow my program to use that port. I had asked this question on stackoverflow (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/13448429/socket-error-while-making-tcp-ip-connection-in-delphi) where I was suggested to ask it on super user.     I'm doing a traceroute from my box to ....say.... stackoverflow.com. I see a couple of instances where there are multiple ip's on one line. For instance, in below, line #2 has two IPs: 10.1.6.5 and 10.1.4.5 Also on line #4, there are two timestamps after 216.182.236.96: 0.653 ms and 0.637 ms What are these?   • Bookmarklet, js injection and popup issue

The thing is : if I want to bypass pop-up blockers, I can't open my new window from the injected script. I need to open it right from the beginning in the bookmarklet code, and to access it later when needed. I've tried to do somehting like this : javascript:var my_popup = window.open('http://127.0.0.1:8000/resources/manage/new/', 'newResourcePopup',config='height=200,width=400,toolbar=no,menubar=no,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,location=no,directories=no,status=no'); (function() { // script injection (...) })(); but if I then try to access my_popup from my remotely loaded script, most browsers will throw a security warning and won't let me access the Window object. This is understandable since the script is not from the same domain than the displayed page, but I'm kind of stuck...   • Sqlite issues with HTC Desire HD

    Recently I have been getting a lot of complaints about the HTC Desire series and it failing while invoking sql statements. I have received reports from users with log snapshots that contain the following. I/Database( 2348): sqlite returned: error code = 8, msg = statement aborts at 1: [pragma journal_mode = WAL;] E/Database( 2348): sqlite3_exec to set journal_mode of /data/data/my.app.package/files/localized_db_en_uk-1.sqlite to WAL failed followed by my app basically burning in flames because the call to open the database results in a serious runtime error that manifests itself as the cursor being left open. There shouldn't be a cursor at this point as we are trying to open it. This only occurs with the HTC Desire HD and Z. My code basically does the following (changed a little to isolate the problem area).   • Are google chrome extension "content" scripts sandboxed?

    I was under the impression that the content_scripts were executed right on the page, but it now seems as though there's some sandboxing going on. I'm working on an extension to log all XHR traffic of a site (for debugging and other development purposes), and in the console, the following sniff code works: var o = window.XMLHttpRequest.prototype.open; window.XMLHttpRequest.prototype.open = function(){ console.log(arguments, 'open'); return o.apply(this, arguments); }; console.log('myopen'); console.log(window, window.XMLHttpRequest, window.XMLHttpRequest.prototype, o, window.XMLHttpRequest.prototype.open); This logs a message everytime an XHR is sent. When I put this in an extension, however, the real prototype doesn't get modified. Apparently the window.XMLHttpRequest.prototype that my script is seeing differs from that of the actual page. Is there some way around this? Also, is this sandboxing behavior documented anywhere? I looked around, but couldn't find anything.

The reason I get all the statuses first is that the issue only stores that statuses ID, so I get all the statuses, get the ID's that match "Open" and "In Progress", and then match those ID numbers to the issues status field.

    I am trying to write a python program using Python 3 I have to open a text file and read a list of names, print the list, sort the list in alphabetical order and then finally re-print the list. There's a little more to it than that BUT the problem I am having is that I'm supposed to print the list of names with each name on a separate line Instead of printing each name on a separate line, it prints the list all on one line.   • Mercurial changeset hook problem when auto updating. Server permissions maybe??

    I am using Mercurial SCM over a LAN using a normal shared folder instead of http and i'm having a problem getting the auto update hook to run. I have entered this hook as detailed here: http://mercurial.selenic.com/wiki/FAQ#FAQ.2BAC8-CommonProblems.Any_way_to_.27hg_push.27_and_have_an_automatic_.27hg_update.27_on_the_remote_server.3F This installs the hook, but when i push something to the remote repo i get an error: added 1 changesets with 1 changes to 1 files running hook changegroup: hg update >&2 warning: changegroup hook exited with status -1 There is a stackoverflow question similar to this here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2885246/mercurial-auto-update-problem but it offers no solutions other than it may be a permissions error somewhere. Has anyone else had this problem and can anyone else shed any more light on this or give me a heads up on where to start fixing this? Thanks.

  • On activate does not fire with my Modal/Pop-Up form to Requery

    I have a modal/pop-up form frmEditContact open on this form there is a combo box full of addressescmbAddressList, populated by a query. when the user wants to add an address that doesn't exist there is a button that opens the frmAddress where they may add an address. frmAddress allows them to enter an address to the list and gives the option to save, or cancel (both actions close the form after). with this form closed, the focus is now again on frmEditContact I would like to repopulate the combo box using docmd.Requery cmbAddressList after they close the other form I'm not sure where to handle this, I've tried On Avtivate, On Load, On Update, On Open, On Focus...but none of them fire as I keep the frmEditContact open when they are using the other form is there a way to keep frmEditContact open the whole time, but still an action Event that will fire so that I can Requery? And does On Activate not work with modal forms?

  • Sometimes Explorer_WindowStateChanged does not fire while opening new tab.

    I am using Explorer_WindowStateChanged to identified tab change event in IE 7 or IE 8. My problem is, When i open any link in new tab (By right click on link and click on open in new tab), then somtimes Explorer_WindowStateChanged event does not fire and i am not able to detect that a new tab has been opened. Explorer_WindowStateChanged event is working fine when i am switching between tab. The problem is only when i am opening new tab and the new opened tab is not active (Means active tab is that where i opened link) Actually i am keeping the count of opened tab. So sometimes 8 tabs are open and my count show that 7 tab are open. Please help me that how can i ensure that whenever a new tab is opening then after setsite() method, Explorer_WindowStateChanged event must fire. Please Help

  • How to copy/paste LARGE amounts of text in Windows

    I am not sure if this is more suited for Superuser or Stackoverflow, but here goes... A little bit of background: I'm learning SQL and was trying to make a very large table which I could use for optimization tests. Something generic with random values. I created a little Java program to do just that, and was able to put out a text file with 100,000 lines, each line being an SQL INSERT statement for a new random record. However, with anything much bigger than 100,000 lines, I had problems either opening/using the text file in any text editor, or copying/pasting the text to the windows clipboard and then into SQL Developer so I could execute it as a script. I'm probably overlooking something really obvious, or doing something really stupid. There has got to be a better way to do this, but I couldn't find anything through Google or Stackoverflow or Superuser. Thanks!

    Hello, As I've been researching algorithms for path finding in graph, I found interesting problem. Definition of situation: 1)State diagram can have p states, and s Boolean Fields, and z Int Fields 2)Every state can have q ingoing and r outgoing transitions, and h Int fields (h belongs to z - see above) 3)Every transition can have only 1 event, and only 1 action 4)every action can change n Boolean Fields, and x Int Fields 5)every event can have one trigger from combination of any count of Boolean Fields in diagram 6)Transition can be in OPEN/CLOSED form. If the transition is open/closed depends on trigger2 compounded from 0..c Boolean fields. 7) I KNOW algorithm for finding shortest paths from state A to state B. 8) I KNOW algorithm for finding path that covers all states and transitions of whole state diagram, if all transitions are OPEN. Now, what is the goal: I need to find shortest path that covers all states and transitions in dynamically changing state diagram described above. When an action changes some int field, the algorithm should go through all states that have changed int field. The algorithm should also be able to open and close transition (by going through transitions that open and close another transitions by action) in the way that the founded path will be shortest and covers all transitions and states. Any idea how to solve it? I will be really pleased for ANY idea. Thanks for answers.
