• How can I set a default value when incorrect/invalid input is entered in Unix?

  i want to set the value of inputLineNumber to 20. I tried checking if no value is given by user by [[-z "$inputLineNumber"]] and then setting the value by inputLineNumber=20. The code seems to be working correct when no value is given but I also receive ./t.sh: [-z: not found as message on the console. Is there some way to not print this message.   Can any one please help me by giving a query or an idea which helps me? I am looking for a query which returns the users and logins in a sql server 2008 r2 instance. If some one has added/updated a user/permissions in next day- if we run a script it should revert all the changes to the previous day status. Let me give you an example On Wednesday the database security is fine On Thursday someone goes into the SQL instance and changes several database user security settings. This creates lots of problems. On Wednesday if we run a script on the SQL instance and it should reset the database user security back to what it was on Wednesday. Someone please help me in this regard, Its very urgent..............Please..........

• Huawei b153 limit of devices

  I set up my home network all through this 3G wifi router. Problem is it only allows 5 devices to connect. That's not much especially if a wifi printer and gaming consoles keep hogging these slots. On the other hand I don't see the point on blocking these devices. They are (should) not doing anything online just intern in my network. The documentation I can find is surpirisingly unhelpful and focuses how to plug the device in a power socket. So what would be my options. Notes: I have already been able to get a shell on the device using ssh. It's running some Busybox. But I fail to find the how and where this limit is enforced/created. Notes 2: Specifically my device is a 3WebCube - unfortunately not specifically marked with the Huawei Model number. • Replicate between mysql 5.0.xx community and enterprise edition over ssh

  I'm trying to setup a mysql replication over an SSH tunnel. The odd thing about this setup is that I have one master with mysql 5.0.60sp1-enterprise-gpl-log and one slave with mysql 5.0.67-community-log. Could it be so that it's not possible to replicate between community and enterprise edition? As you can see in my log below, it's possible to login on the remote server with the mysql client. But the replication get "Can't connect to MySQL server on '127.0.0.1' (13)" Is it any log file I have forgotten to look in, to get more info?   I am trying to start mongod but I get $ mongod mongod --help for help and startup options mongod: symbol lookup error: mongod: undefined symbol: _ZN7pcrecpp2RE4InitEPKcPKNS_10RE_OptionsE Searching on google it seems to be related with libpcre; I tried to install last versions of libpcre3 and libpcre++ but it doesn't work. MongoDB shell's version (and mongodb-server's version) is 2.0.4. Ubuntu's version is 12.04. libpcre3's version is 8.12-4. libpcre++0's version is 0.9.5-5.1. Thanks

  After bootstrap a environment via manual provisioning, juju give me the following output for juju status: ERROR Unable to connect to environment "manual". Please check your credentials or use 'juju bootstrap' to create a new environment. Error details: illegal base64 data at input byte 9 And doing bootstrap again shows me: WARNING ignoring environments.yaml: using bootstrap config in file "/home/ayrton/.juju/environments/manual.jenv" ERROR illegal base64 data at input byte 9 The first bootstrap shows me no error, but the status crash as above and the second one output is just the base64 error. My juju version is 1.19.4-trusty-amd64, running in trusty 64. The bootstrap environment is a VPS with 1GB of memory, 20GB of hd and precise 64bits. Please, let me know if I can provide any further information.

One of the requirements was NOT to disable ValidateRequest (ValidateRequest=”false”). For this project (and any other project) I felt it wasn’t necessary to disable ValidateRequest. Note: I’ve search for alternatives for the posting issue and everyone and their mothers continually suggested to disable ValidateRequest. That bothers me – a LOT. So, disabling ValidateRequest is totally out of the question (and always will be).  So I thought to modify how the “data: “ gets serialized. the ajax data fix was simple, add a .html(). YES!!! IT WORKS!!! No more “potentially dangerous” issue, ajax form posts (and does it beautifully)! So if you’re using jQuery to $.ajax() a form with CKEditor, remember to do: Code Snippet data: $("#form0Add").serialize().html(), or bad things will happen. Also, don’t forget to set Code Snippet config.htmlEncodeOutput = true; for the CKEditor config.js file (or equivalent). • Ubuntu 14.04:LTS , HPLIP loses USB connection to HP laserjet

  This is my first post, so please let me know if i have inadvertanly broken any rules. Problem There seems to be a problem with HPLIP and USB connections in ubuntu 14.04LTS. After upgrading i managed to get the printing to work but today it has broken. Initial Issue (Solved) After upgrading to unbutntu 14.04 LTS my printer lHP LaserJet 1018 stopped printing (code=12) Looking through the Forumsthere are several issues with printitng and HPLIP so I was able to troubleshoot this. The steps I took were : Reran HPdoctor Ran hp-check Un-installed and installed the latest version of HPLIP (3.14.4) Checked the USB connections lsusb and lsusb-v Re-ran hpcheck Removed the printer from HPLIP Re-ran hpcheck Manually configued HPLIP to the printer hp-setup-g <xxx:yyy> And this worked HPLIP was able to see the printer in the USB , test page printed and was happily working for a few weeks. Current Issue Printer Not working However today my wife complains the printer is not working and checking see that although HPLIP has the same error code and did not seem to be able to see the printer although running lsusb could see the printer. Initially thought this may be due to usb given a new bus/device after being turned on and off and went to repeat the steps above at the moment still seeing an error in that the HPLIP is complaining that it cannot see the device **error: Device not found.
