I've looked at log4jdbc (which does not support datasources), p6spy which seems to be what I am looking for but it has not been updated since 2003 which makes me nervous and lists only JBoss 3.x (we use JBoss 5), and JAMon which seems heavyweight for what I am trying to accomplish (a simple log of all SQL statements running through a JBoss application server).
I was hoping that JBoss itself would have a switch to log all the sql (as Websphere does) but I cannot find any documentation for it so that functionality might not exist.
I just upgraded a Vista machine to Windows 7. The machine is running Outlook 2007 SP2 with the KB970944 performance hot fix.
Now, syncing to the Exchange server can take 20 minutes, whereas it was very fast before the Windows 7 upgrade. I believe we're running Exchange 2003, but I'm not 100% sure.
Anyone else seeing this? Any fixes yet?

Windows update says that it could not search for new updates and gives the error code 80070643. From what I have read it has something to do with Office 2003 and I dont even have it installed. I tried downloading and installing vista sp2 but it fails as well giving me error: ERROR_EVT_CONFIGURATION_ERROR(0x89973aa2). Can someone please help me resolve this issue?
I have some old classic asp scripts. They used to work on my 2003/IIS 6 server. But on my Vista/IIS 7 and now Windows 7 Ultimate/IIS 7 server the asp pages don't work.
I did what they said here: Deploying a Classic ASP Server (IIS 7) (Microsoft TechNet).
I enabled those 3 features in IIS 7 but that just went from getting 404 to 500 error.
I had domain and 3sub domain from it but web pages,s sub of them with visual studio2008 and others with visual studio 2003 and when I tried to make them work on one web.config I couldn't make that.any one help me
We're using Microsoft Outlook 2003/2007 with NON-EXHCANGE mailboxes, stored in PST files.
Is there a way to quickly add a large number of senders from the inbox to the users contact list?
I was thinking to export all the senders from the inbox in the PST file to a list and then so use scripting to add them all to the contact list, or perhaps arrange in CSV and import.
Any advice is highly appreciated.
I am running an ASP.NET 3.5 website on IIS 6 with Server 2003. Whenever I modify any of the ASPX files, any page on the site then takes about 2-3 minutes before it starts to load. Even the smallest modification causes this to happen.
Why is this?
We have a Small Business Server (SBS) Windows 2003, and we need to setup a shared outlook calendar using exchange (comes with the SBS), however my client does not want to use exchange mail. In other words, they would like to use Outlook to send an receive emails using some hosted web mail service (using POP) but have the Outlook calendar shared among users using exchange on local SBS server. All users have domain accounts configured. Is this possible to do?
Hi all,
On my Windows 2008 R2 server with IIS 7.5 I would like to have my ASP.NET website running with forms authentication, while protecting a subfolder with the basic Windows authentication. I have done this on Windows 2003 with IIS 6 for years, but I simply can't get it to work with IIS 7.5. Your input would be highly appreciated :)
Previously I used Outlook 2003 and I was able to send a hyperlink with a space by typing < before entering the hyperlink and a > after typing the hyperlink and the whole thing would become a valid clickable link.
Like so
<\\network share with spaces\folder
We upgraded to Outlook 2010 and currently this happens
<\\network share with spaces\folder
or if I do nothing
\\network share with spaces\folder
Is there a setting in one of these ribbons somewhere to control this?
Hi:
I am using a windows 2003 server .I am using LDAP to allow my wireless clients connect to the network.
I can connect fine to the network.
But whenever I enter a wrong credential my LDAP server freezes and no new clients can log in to the wireless network for 10 -15 minutes.
i am using a cisco wlc and its doing web-authentication.
I have nothing but bad experiences in using built in raid controller.
Is there a possibility to use the software raid features of windows 2003 in Windows XP?
My outlook fails when trying to download any message/attachment which is larger than 3Mb and will not download any more emails until I go into my internet email account and delete that message. It is then fine until another large email tries to download to Outlook.
This is happening on an XP machine with Outlook 2000 and a Windows 7 machine with Outlook 2003. I am running McAfee on both machines
In Outlook 2003 or 2007, if you:
Open your Contacts folder
From the File menu, select Print
The Print dialog box will open
Beneath "Print style", select Phone Directory Style.
This will print all your contacts as a phone directory. Can the same be done from OWA?
Is there a way to use the built-in windows file compression tool in command line? Instead of RightClick/Send To/Compress (Zipped) Folder.
Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition
Thanks!
I have 2 series of IP.I want to make a domain controller in windows server 2003.all clients system are XP.I want to know can i make a domain server.if yes how its is possible ?
Building on my previous question about RHEL, how do you add get the guest OS to recognize that you've added new drives to it without a reboot?
I have Windows 2003, XP, and 2008 guests running on ESX 4. I've added new virtual disks to the VM, but have not figured-out how to get the guest to recognize them without a reboot.
Is this possible? If so, how?
We use a Windows 2003 server and XP stations.
The server's LDAP is working ok, as I am able to retrieve the addresses it contains with Thunderbird.
I'd like to be able to ADD an address to the server's book (the address of a new contact that freshly wrote me, for example) directly from Thunderbird, but that doesn't seem possible.
What can I do ?
I am a .net programmer trying to create this setup:
I want this server to be inaccessible through DMZ accept for IPSEC connections, and to also have a private network which will be accessible through another windows 2008 server which will host vpn.
That is how our windows 2003 infrastructure works and I am trying to do the same with 2008 servers, are there any guides or documentations that have this scenario?
How can I move the pointer (the diagonal line) in a callout in Powerpoint?
I want the pointer at the textbox to point to the middle, not the upper third.
I would post a pic, but I don't have enough reputation, look here instead.
edit: I'm using PP 2003.
