  I need to debug a winCE application over the ethernet using Visual Studio 2005. I have connected to the device over the ethernet and now need to run conmanclient2.exe and cmaccept.exe before I can start debugging. However, I don't know how to copy these files over the ethernet.   I'm looking into creating a GUI program for Windows in C++, I have a good knowledge of C++ in the command line and also in game creation. But I'm not sure where to start with GUI application development. I have Visual Studio 2010 and have created new projects with a GUI but these templates are complex and leaves me not understanding whats happening and how to modify it. So I'm asking where do I start? Preferably good websites that you can recommend or tutorials, rather than books being a poor student :)

  I have been playing with this webbrowser control example I got it working and added some timers using ON_WM_TIMER. Now I would like to access the m_Browser (CWebBrowser class instance) defined inside the protected CMyBrowserView class into a different class. (for example CMyBrowserApp in the code sample) and use .Navigate and other functions. How can I do this? (im using visual studio 6 c++)

• Need to display my code in stack trace. I see only System... lines.

  Sometimes when I get an Exception while debugging in Visual Studio, all the code lines in the stack trace belong to the System.. name space. It doesn't display my line of code which was responsible for the exception. Is there a way to be make the stack trace show more lines or to ignore stack trace from the system namespace? Something like Just-My-Code for stack trace?

  In Visual Studio 2010 we have MSBuild for C++ project. Also we can add additional custom properties files "*.props" to projects, which are just MSBuild scripts. Is it possible in imported "some.props" file know its directory? for example there is "project.vcxproj" file and "common.props" file. I would like to write something: <IncludeDir>$( [and something for common.props file directory here] )\include</IncludeDir> What should I write there?

  Hi, I tried to turn on the Activity Monitor using SQL Server 2008 Management Studio (SSMS) through the options window of the application (Tools | Options | Environment | General | At Startup). I restarted SSMS and I am getting the following message: "This operation does not support connections to Microsoft SQL Server Standard Edition version 8.00.2249." I need to be able to monitor the processes and activities inside the database since I am investigating a particular application which takes a lot of time in its database data retrieval access and I am thinking it may be due to some locks or some processes. How do I resolve this? Inputs highly appreciated. Thanks.

• Why Resource (.resx) file added on merely changing Form size and on adding button which is not resou

  1- Resource files suppose to be added on adding some resource in application like image or audio or video etc. But if I just change size of form a .resx file under that particular form. Changing size of form does not add any resource so why this .resx file. 2- I dropped a button on form and a resource file is included again this button is not some kind of resource, it is object created and having information in designer file. 3- A resource file added on dropping button on form but if I delete this resource file and run application it compile and run with NO error and button is still there. If this button has any relation with resource file then there must by some kind of compile or runtime error AND if .resx file has nothing to do with button then why it was added? I am using VS 2008. • Aptana Studio is opening but not ever closing a python.exe process

  I am developing a small testing website using Django 1.2 in Aptana Studio build 2.0.4.1268158907. I have a Django project that I test by running the command "runserver 8001" on my project. This command runs the project on a small server that comes with Django. However the problem arises that every time I run this command Aptana opens two instances of the process "python.exe". Upon terminating the command only one of these instances is ended. The other process continues to run and use memory. My server is not online, and the process doesn't seem to do anything that I can find. This happens every time i run the runserver command on my project and therefore more and more python.exe instances will open up through my development period. Any help discovering either the purpose of this extra python.exe or a way to prevent it from opening would be much appreciated.
