  Hi, I just want to clarify, weather the feature is present or not in Qt. The scenario is like this, I have a list view with items, I want to place the icon to the listview when the item is selected. The selection I mean is, first time when I click item should be selected, next time if I click the same item then it should be selected. Please note It is not the double click. So is there any feature which handles this feature by default, any property or flag which I need to set to listview to behave like this or manual implementation Is required for this.

• href image link download on click

  Hey all, I generate normal links like: <a href="/path/to/image"><img src="/path/to/image" /></a> in a web app. When I click on the link, it displays the picture in a new page. If you want to save the picture, then you need to right click on it and select "save as" I don't want this behaviour, I would like to have a download box popping out when I click on the link, is that possible just with html or javascript? How? If not I guess I would have to write a download.php scrit and call it into the href with the file name as parameter...? Greetings! :)

  I have multiple menues on my page... <div class="menu"> <div>Menu header</div> <div>Menu content</div>// should hide on click outside .menu </div> <div class="menu"> <div>Menu header</div> <div>Menu content</div>// should hide on click outside .menu </div> basically i need all the menu(s) to hide when a click is detected unless someone is clicking any of the menues it should hide any other menu(s) apart from the menu they clicked on. I have seen a few that work but only if you have one menu on the page which is not exactly useful using stopPropagation as it may cancel any other necessary instructions; any ideas would be appriciated.

  It looks like in most browsers, an <input type="submit"> treats both [spacebar] and [enter] as a click, but an <a> link only treats [enter] as a click. My app uses a number of links formatted to simulate buttons, so a user that is accustomed to tabbing to a button and pressing [spacebar] will be frustrated. This bit of jQuery solves the problem: $("a.Button").die("keypress").live("keypress", function(e) { if (e.which == 32) { $(this).trigger("click"); e.preventDefault(); } }); My question: Is this a reason not to do this? I'm a little reluctant to override the browser's default behavior on something as basic as this, but since I'm already abusing the link tag to make it look like a button, at least this way I'm not violating the user's expectations any further.

• C# Windows Forms Print Dialog box click OK twice to respond

  I'm using Visual Studio 2008, .net Framework 3.5 for a Windows forms client-server app that I'm working on. There is a weird bug when I run the program and try to print. The print dialog box opens, but I have to click the OK button twice for it to work. After the second click it works fine, no errors. When I put a breakpoint on: if (result == DialogResult.OK) , the breakpoint doesn't trigger until the second click. Here is the code: private void tbPrint_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { try { printDialog1.Document = pDoc; DialogResult result = printDialog1.ShowDialog(); if (result == DialogResult.OK) { pDoc.PrinterSettings.PrinterName = printDialog1.PrinterSettings.PrinterName; pDoc.Print(); } ... This is driving me crazy, and I can't see anything else that would interfere with it.

There have two image which can be download from server in a list item, it will show one image and will show another image when user select or click this item . if I try to download another image from server when user click it,the user will never have time to see it, for this time is shorter than download image form server, so i want to download two of them,and when I click it again,the app can invoke another image from local. but I do not know how to invoke this image ? • mx:Tree not dispatching "itemClick" event when click on icon

  I have a flex tree that worked perfectly fine when we set the defaultLeafIcon={null} and the folderClosedIcon and folderOpenIcon to {null}. We decided to put the icons back in and took out the nulls. Now they show up fine, but if you click on the icon instead of the label or the rest of the row, it seems to change the selected item, shows the highlight around the new item, but doesn't dispatch the ItemClick event. This makes it really hard to know that the tree's selected item has changed! The weird part is that once you have clicked on the icon once and it looked like the selectedItem changed (or at least it applied that style), if you click the same icon again, it will actually fire the itemClick event. if you click any other icon, it does the same thing again, switching the selectedItem and styling that row, but not firing the itemClick event. Any ideas? Thanks. (This is in flex 4 btw)

  I have an AJAX chat room module in Drupal and I am trying to insert BBCode stlye tex tags to the submit box when the user clicks Insert Tex.   At the following webpage liamharding.com/pgi.php I have an option panel on the left side of the page which opens and close's upon clicking the panels 'arrow', this works fine until you select a market (for testing use one of the 'Random Walk' markets and click 'Show/Refesh Graphs'), this then makes an ajax call using get_graph(forexName, myCount, divIsNew) function. Once this call is completed a graph(s) is displayed and then my options panels click() event does not work? The ajax call returns the data in a variable ajax_data, the problem happens when I perform the following code var jq_ajax_data = $("<div/>").html(ajax_data); . I need to wrap it in a so I can extract data from it using jQuery. If this line of code is commented out the click() event works fine ?? Hope somebody can help, I have spent a lot of time but cant find what the problem is.

  Hey there, I'm looking to be able to open up a new view or activity when I click on an item in my ListView. Currently I have a list of restaurants, and when i click on a particular restaurant I want it to open up another screen that will show its address, google map etc. What I need help with is knowing how to set click events on the items in the list. • jQuery click event to make a div slide down and push next div out of viewport

  I'm trying to figure out how to make jQuery slide #content2 down and replace content1 with it while making it look like #content1 is actually being pushed down by #content1 removing it from view... Then the same button that was clicked to make #content2 replace #content1 would also need to do the reverse effect by replacing #content2 with #content1 making them slide up and push each other out of the way... • click-event doesn't fire if blur changes layout

  I have a form with blur-events bound to the required fields. Then there is a "Cancel" Button which simply calls an URL (button is an image with click-event). When leaving one of the required fields a warning is written to the page saying that field xy is required. - this causes a layout shift, meaning all the fields and the buttons are moved down a little bit because of the text inserted above. The tricky thing is this: when the focus is in an empty but required field and you click the cancel button, the required-warning is written to the screen but the click-event on the cancel button doesn't fire. I think this is due to the layout shift. The mouse cursor doesn't hover over the button anymore, because the button scrolled down. Has anyone a good idea how i could solve this?

• Single click to activate last tab in windows 7 internet explorer (like FF)

  Windows 7 annoyance: the jump lists are fine for hovering over the taskbar items, great go ahead and show me previews of all the open instances and maybe I'll pick the exact one I want. However this works different between IE and FF. Hovering over the FF icon just shows me the single FF window, not any of the tabs I have open. Clicking it means my FF window opens and I'm at the last tab I was on. Great, normal behavior, one click and I'm in. Hovering over the IE icon shows me all the tabs in my single IE window. Ok, but I just want to go back to my last active IE tab. I can't! I am forced to click twice to go back to any IE tab. Sure it's a minor annoyance, but as I'm developing throughout the day I find it more and more annoying. Any ideas to fix so I can just click the IE taskbar icon once and it pulls up the last tab I was on?

  I'm trying to filter button events based on whether they have a CSS class assigned to them or not. Assume I have a button like this: <button id="save-button" class="ui-state-default ui-corner-all">Save</button> I want to get jQuery to select all buttons that currently do not have a class of "ui-state-disabled". The selector I'm using looks like this: $('#save-button:not(.ui-state-disabled)').click(function() { ... }); When the button is clicked, I'll call a different function, do some stuff and then add the class 'ui-state-disabled' to the button. However the button still continues to accept click events. I'm guessing this is because of two possible causes: The event binder looks only at the initial state when binding the click event and doesn't recognise that a new class has been added later on My filter ['... :not(.ui-state-disabled)] is not correct Any observations?

I am using the Selenium extension for PHPUnit and I would like to test that the button is correctly redirecting the user.   I tried to have a .click() on a <a> to find out it wont trigger every time I click, what it suppose to do is open a dialog.   Let's say I've got a window for which I want to simulate a mouse click at a specific x, y coordinate. I already have the hwnd but I'm not sure how to construct the lParam. I've used SendMessage in the past to click on buttons, etc., but I knew their hwnds. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I also can't help but wonder if I'm going about this the right way. My end goal is clicking on a certain user on skype main window (for example). I used EnumChildWindows to find all the main window's children, but couldn't find the right one. So figured I would try to 'click' on it using coordinates.
