  I'm experimenting with DIVs to align my page's contents: http://labs.pieterdedecker.be/test/test.htm As you can see, there's something wrong with the sidebar. I got the sidebar DIV to be aligned to the right of the page by doing float: right, but when the text in the sidebar stops the main area takes over the width that should be used by the sidebar. How do I fix this?

  I want to write the draggable() and resizable() code in such a way that all future elements with a particular class will inherit those plugins without calling them again. $('div.resizeMe').resizable({ containment: 'parent', minWidth: 400, minHeight: 200 }) When the above code is executed, all divs with resizeMe class inherits the resizable() function. But if I appended BODY with a new div with the same class, I needed to execute that code again. • Bug in IE with jQuery highlight? Highlighting is sticking on some elements.

  Is there anything wrong with this line? $('#' + $(this).attr('id') + 'title').effect("highlight", {}, 5000).fadeIn(1000); It's being applied to a set of divs in cycles - the first time it shows them, and then as it keeps going round it highlights them again (as they are already shown.) Only, in IE7 and IE8 the highlight seems to stick on some elements randomly. Anyone know why this is?

  Hello, I have a containing div that has multiple divs within which is updated every 25ms using innerHTML (for performance reasons). I have tried using event delegation to capture events but nothing I seem to do captures the click event. I think this may be due to the speed that the contents are getting updated.
