I have come across CGPointMake to change x & y positions alone, but what should i use for changing width & height alone??. There's something called CGSizeMake but i am not able to make it work.     I am having a hard time understanding how to change the width of columns when creating a table view. I know you can set the width in pixels of a column but that is not what I want to do. Say, for instance, I have 2 columns and want each column to take up half the screen. How do I do this without explicitly setting the pixels, so that my code can work on multiple screen sizes?

  • Changing multiple objects with a new class name using Jquery

    I'd like to click on a trigger and show a specific image. There are multiple triggers which would show a specific image related to it within a set. There are 4 sets The challenge for me is toggling the other images to hide only in this 'set' when one of these triggers are clicked, as there can only be one image showing at a time in each set.     I have a RadGrid but it is spanning the width across the page, how can I control it and set a width and mae contents in the cells wrap if they need to?. I cant find anything that is helping me. I tried MasterTableView-TableLayout="fix" but then anything in the cells gets cut off.   • (android) rows of buttons that take up the entire width of the screen

    I am trying to make 3 rows of 4 buttons each that will take up the entire width of the screen. I have tried Linear Layout but have trouble adding a second row and from what I have read nesting Linear Layouts is bad practice. I tried to use relative layout several times but I cannot manage to get the buttons to fill the width of the screen because it ignores layout_weight, I then tried nesting linear layout in relative layout but layout_weight is still ignored. What is the best way to accomplish this?

I am building the website here: http://www.obliquo.co.uk/ As you can see it all works, but I am forced to setting a huge body width in pixel value. The content on the page will be changing all the time. If I don't set a width in pixels, the divs start bumping vertically, naturally.

    I know this topic has been asked, but the posts are all out of date, or not functional on IE8. In brief we basically want to do the excel style locking of column headers in a GridView. I have seen a couple of solutions one jquery+ css(setExpression) which doesn't work in IE8. And another that uses ajax extensions, yet again doesn't work in IE8.     Hi all, I have created a custom control inheriting from a panel in .NET 3.5 The panel has a custom polygon border, which comes from a pointF array (In diagram, control is highlighted yellow). Fig 1 shows the control with BorderStyle none. Fig 2 with BorderStyle fixed-single As shown in Fig 2, the border follows the Rectangle bounding the control. IS there a way to make the border follow the actual border of the control set by the polygon? FYI the polygon is created using a GraphicsPath object. Drawing the line with GDI+ does not work, as the control clips the line and it looks awful... Fig1 Fig2

    I want to create a vector<vector<int>> where the outer vector is fixed (always containing the same vectors), but the inner vectors can be changed. For example: int n = 2; //decided at runtime assert(n>0); vector<vector<int>> outer(n); //outer vector contains n empty vectors outer.push_back(vector<int>()); //modifying outer vector - this should be error auto outer_it = outer.begin(); (*outer_it).push_back(3); //modifying inner vector. should work (which it does). I tried doing simply const vector<vector<int>>, but that makes even the inner vectors const. Is my only option to create my own custom FixedVectors class, or are there better ways out there to do this?
