    I want to change the values on one ComboFieldEditor depending on another ComboFieldEditor in an eclipse plugin. E.g. if the user changes the package, different classes need to be populated in the second ComboFieldEditor. The ComboFieldEditor class does not seem to to have a way to change the items on the fly.

    Sometime back I used a windows tool to see what a process is doing. This tool allowed me to inspect functions exported from DLL. It also allowed me to change the values passed to a function on the fly. I cannot recollect the name(not sure if that was free or commercial one). Could any one point to me solution that can do this?     I have a 16x16 sprite in PNG or GIF image format, and would like to display it on a website at 64 x 64 in all its pixelated glory. In Firefox 3.6+ and IE I can do this easily with CSS using image-rendering and -ms-interpolation-mode, but as this doesn't work in all browsers I'd like to resize the image on the fly using PHP instead. What's the best way to resize images using nearest-neighbor interpolation in PHP?

    Hi Folks, I'd like to modify the sliders on-the-fly. I tried to do so by using $("#slider").slider("option", "values", [50,80]); This call will set the values, but the element will not update the slider positions. Calling $('#slider").trigger('change'); does not help either. Is there another/better way to modify the value AND slider position ?

I know you could just set up a Postscript printer and print directly to that, but some of these libraries appear to create the PDF on the fly to allow previews etc. has anyone had any experience in this, or can provide any guidance?

I'm thinking of using jQuery but would I be right in thinking the only way to do it is manually calculating the percentage of width/height where the shape layer should be placed, then using absolute positioning is the only way to do this? I am currently using the following to change the background: LinearLayout mScreen = (LinearLayout) findViewById(R.id.main); mScreen.setBackgroundColor( mycolor ); I tried to use Style's to change the text using: @color/white The problem is that Spinners/Buttons and Spinner-Popup-Lists all change to white text as well, making them unreadable.     As far as I can see the key advantage of dynamic languages like Ruby or Python over Java/Scala/C# etc is "hot" applying of your changes to source code to the running application. What are the frameworks for JVM or .NET that support the same workflow - apply changes to configuration and source code on the fly? Can they also watch changes to custom configurations and notify application? Note: Frameworks for dynamic languages on JVM/.NET like Grails or Compojure are out of scope here.

    i have a group of radio buttons that are generated on the fly from the db into a partial control then rendered on the page as html and they all have the same name now in firefox and chrome the following code works fine $(".FlightSelectedRadio").live('click', function() { alert("after flight select"); $("#ToisGarantueedBid").attr("disabled", false); }); however in ie it doesnt work on the first select of a radio but only fires if u select something else ? any ideas wat the problem is ?

These objects end up being rendered as views (say forms) in a rich client app. I started to annotate the fields in the model objects (Java annotations) with things that let me render them as forms on the fly (e.g displayname, group, page, validvalues).
