  I've been trying to replace (and translate) this text, and i don't know what formula I should Use for thousands of places that I need to translate to Spanish. OKay this is what i want to do, i want to use regular expressions on Notepadd++. I give 4 variations, and in bold is what's supposed to go after the name of the place, in lower case and not to be confused with eg. Agency Village because that's its name.   I know this isn't really what XPath is for but if I have a HashMap of XPath expressions to values how would I go about building an XML document. I've found dom-4j's DocumentHelper.makeElement(branch, xpath) except it is incapable of creating attributes or indexing. Surely a library exists that can do this?   I just solved the first problem from Project Euler in JavaFX for the fun of it and wondered what block expressions are actually good for? Why are they superior to functions? Is it the because of the narrowed scope? Less to write? Performance? Here's the Euler example. What's wrong with my code? It seems like expressions are wrong. How do I remove a character/symbol if it's at the beginning or at the end of the line (with one or more occurrences)?

  If I have a list of regular expressions, is there an easy way to determine that no two of them will both return a match for the same string? That is, the list is valid if and only if for all strings a maximum of one item in the list will match the entire string. It seems like this will be very hard (maybe impossible?) to prove definitively, but I can't seem to find any work on the subject. The reason I ask is that I am working on a tokenizer that accepts regexes, and I would like to ensure only one token at a time can match the head of the input.

  I'm new to regular expressions in Java (or any language, for that matter) and I'm wanting to do a find using them. The tricky part that I don't understand how to do is replace something inside the string that matches. For example, if the line I'm looking for is Person item6 [can {item thing [wrap]}] I'm able to write a regex that finds that line, but finding what the word "thing" is (as it may differ among different lines) is my problem. I may want to either replace that word with something else or save it in a variable for later. Is there any easy way to do this using Java's regex engine?

• Apache2 random 403 error & info server busy logs on Ubuntu

  Hello, I have a strange situation with apache2. Meanless, random 403 errors. Any page (html, php etc.) normally working. but if i request repeatedly by pressing refresh button of browser. it interrupts & sends a 403 randomly. after a few seconds it works again. in the error log, i see client denied by server configuration. main error log of apache says [info] server seems busy, (you may need to increase StartServers, or Min/MaxSpareServers), spawning 8 children, there are 99 idle, and 137 total children my current values IfModule mpm_prefork_module StartServers 120 MinSpareServers 100 MaxSpareServers 200 MaxClients 256 MaxRequestsPerChild 500 /IfModule i've increased 10 by 10. from 20. but nothing solved. i've disabled KeepAlive. What may cause this problem ? thank you in advance. a fresh install Ubuntu server x86 8.04.4 Virtualmin from it's website (not from debian repositories). • Problem connecting to Hsqldb via Hibernate when running a Eclipse GWT project.

  Hi, I'm trying to run a simple GWT project where I'm trying to do a simple persitence via hibernate to a HSQLDB database. The database I'm using I have been using for at least 2 years with several osgi applications without any problems. So all I done is reused the same configuration and added a simple object mapping file. The problem I have is that I get a socket creation error when ever I try to persist the object with in GWT jetty. I now the database is up and running, I can telnet to it, run OSGI projects that uses the same config with out problems. I can't use the key of "peace" since it must go directly after happiness, and peace might not come after happiness as this array changes.   I need to set the width of textboxes as 80% of it's parent. So first I used td input[type="text"] { width: 80%; } But it was not rendering properly if the input is the child of td. So, I used Css expressions td input[type="text"] { width: expression(this.parentNode.offsetWidth*0.8); } It is working as I wanted in every browser except IE 6. Can anybody help me, where I am going wrong? I know that expressions are allowed in IE 6. So, is it the problem of using css expression or something to do offsetWidth. Thanks in advance.

  Almost everyday my server is crashing due to hight server load, and even restarting apache or mysql can't solve the problem. I need to reboot the server to solve, or it crash again due to the high load. But it looks that the solution is just to update the kernel or disk driver, thinks that I don't know how to do. In this url http://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=4515 a lot o people report similar problems, except the fact that they are not related to httpd like mine. According to one member, one solution would be to add "elevator=noop " to /etc/grub.conf like in this example: title CentOS (2.6.18-238.12.1.el5xen) root (hd0,0) kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.18-238.12.1.el5xen ro root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 elevator=noop initrd /initrd-2.6.18-238.12.1.el5xen.img Would this really solve the problem? My disk are working in RAID. Can this cause some problem to my server? Is there any other solution?

• PHP regular expression find and append to string

  I'm trying to use regular expressions (preg_match and preg_replace) to do the following: Find a string like this: {%title=append me to the title%} Then extract out the title part and the append me to the title part. Which I can then use to perform a str_replace(), etc. Given that I'm terrible at regular expressions, my code is failing... preg_match('/\{\%title\=(\w+.)\%\}/', $string, $matches); What pattern do I need? :/

• Display the info window of a Google map marker

  I have succeeded in loading a Google map using the gMap jQuery plugin and making it display several markers passed to it in a JSON object using the pattern demonstrated here under "Map with marker and info window". So far, so good. Now I want to have a link on the same page which, when clicked, displays the info window for a marker on the map. How is this done?
