  • SVN Merge returns nothing...

    Here is the scenario: Windows Vista environment. SVN version 1.6.11. I'm on my branch directory. I want to update my branch with a particular change from my trunk. Using command line (using SlikSVN) I enter the following and it returns nothing (returns a blank line and no merge occurs): svn merge -r 11846:11891 http://trunk//AppConstants.java When I do the equivalent using Tortoise SVN, it says "Completed" but nothing gets merged either. When I do a svn diff I clearly see the differences I want to merge in from the trunk to my branch. The diff command I am using is svn diff -r 11846:11891 http://trunk//AppConstants.java. Can anyone figure why no merge occurs? Thanks!!!

    Hi, I am using Des.php for decryption. For few texts descript function returns Correct output in readable text format. For few... it just returns blank(empty.) After debugging in Des.php, i found that function _unpad($text) is returning false. The input $text is also still encoded. What could be the reason?   • Entity Framework with 'Get' Stored Procedure that returns Entities

    Hello, I am attempting to execute a stored procedure that returns data with exactly the same columns as that of a table Entity I have in my project. I set the 'Returns a Collection Of' property in the 'Add Function Import' dialog to my entity type. I get a NullReferenceException error when executing the stored procedure and on further digging it seems that it is because the 'EntityKey' property is missing. Is there anything I can do to tell it to ignore those special properties of the Entity? I already have a partial class for that entity with '[ScaffoldColumn(false)]' but that doesn't seem to matter.     I'm using Ubuntu Server 9.10 AMD Phenom 2 cpu g++ (Ubuntu 4.4.1-4ubuntu9) 4.4.1 trying to run the application pftp-shit v 1.11. The following code in tcp.cc is executed successfully: int outfile_fd = open(name, O_CREAT | O_TRUNC | O_RDWR | O_BINARY)) which returns a file descriptor int (in my case 6) - name is a char array containing a valid path to my file which successfully i created. and successfully running: fchmod(outfile_fd, S_IRUSR | S_IWUSR); and access(name, W_OK) The issue occurs during running the function (from sys/uio.h) write(outfile_fd, this-control_buffer, read_length) which returns -1. -1 is of returned if nothing was written and otherwise a non-negative integer is returned which is equal to the number of bytes written. Anyone having a clue how I can get the write function to work?

    Hi everyone, First some background information; I've set up my SVN repository on my local server at home using VisualSVN Server. Using SSH on (or via php/shell script), i am able to check out a folder from this repository to the webserver, all goes well. Also updates and other svn commands execute normaly and return their messages. Now comes the problem, and I'm struggling with this for a few days now. Before I execute the checkout command *svn co http://server_home/folder*, I want to make sure no conflicts are going to happen, so I execute *svn status [folder_on_webserver]*. But this doesn't return the result as expected, it returns nothing. When I execute * svn status --show-updates [folder_on_webserver]* it returns the following: * newfolder * 13 anotherfolder * 13 yetanotherfolder * 13 . Status against revision: 16 As you can see it misses the svn codes (A,U,D). Does somebody knows why the svn update command and the svn codes doesnt work?

  • routing paramenter returns null when only supplying first paramenter in MVC

    My issue is that I customer Map Route in MVC which takes three parameters. When I supply all three or just two, the parameters are passed from the URL to my controller. However, when I only supply the first parameter, it is not passed and returns null. Not sure what causes this behavior.     I'm being completely confused here folks, My code throws an exception because File.Exists() returns false public override sealed TCargo ReadFile(string fileName) { if (!File.Exists(fileName)) { throw new ArgumentException("Provided file name does not exist", "fileName"); } Visual studio breaks at the throw statement, and I immediately check the value of File.Exists(fileName) in the immediate window. It returns true. When I drag the breakpoint back up to the if statement and execute it again, it throws again. fileName is an absolute path to a file. I'm not creating the file, nor writing to it (it's there all along). If I paste the path into the open dialog in Notepad, it reads the file without problems. The code is executing in a background worker. It's the only complicating factor I can think of. I am positive the file has not been opened already, either in the worker thread or elsewhere. What's going on here?

    I'm trying to free a character pointer after having used it but it returns a strange error. The error says: "_CrtDbgREport: String too long or IO Error" The debugger itself returns no errors while compiling.   • SSRS 2008 Report.GetDefaultPageSettings returns incorrect information

    I have an application that retrieves a report from SSRS 2008 and prints it automatically. This works except it always prints the report in Letter/Portrait. This particular report is Letter/Landscape. I have tracked the problem down to when calling the Report.GetDefaultPageSettings() function for this report, it returns PaperSize.Height = 1100 and PaperSize.Width = 850. I even modified the report to a custom size of 11" x 8.4" and it still returns 850 for the width. I cannot get this to print correctly when it renders the image incorrectly based on these settings. The report prints correctly when accessed by a web browser. It is only when I am trying to automatically print it that the issue appears.

The target machine is running Windows Server 2003 with the latest SP/updates. I've done what I believe to be the appropriate configuration to allow our user access to WMI (similar to what is described here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa393266.aspx). Here are the specific steps that were followed: Open Administrative Tools - Computer Management: Under Computer Management (Local) Expand Services and Applications, right click WMI Control and select properties. In the Security tab, expand Root, highlight CIMV2, click Security (near bottom of window); add Performance Monitor Users and enable the options : Enable Account and Remote Enable. ­Open Administrative Tools - Component Services: Under Console Root go to Component Services- Computers - Right click My Computer and select properties, select the COM security tab, in “Access Permissions” click "Edit Default" select(or add then select) “Performance Monitor Users” group and allow local access and remote access and click ok.     I've tried to list all of the members of one of the groups in AD, but nothing is returned, although the command is completed successfully. It neither works with group DN specified, instead of sAMAccountName.   • Firebird 2.1: gfix -online returns "database shutdown"

    Hey all. Googling this one hasn't made a bit of difference, unfortunately, as most results specify the syntax for onlining a database after using gfix -shut -force 30 (or any other number of seconds) as gfix -online dbname, and I have run gfix -online dbname with and without login credentials for the DB in question. The message that I get is: database dbname shutdown Which is fine, except that I want to bring it online now. It's out of the question to close fbserver.exe (running on a Windows box, afaik it's Classic Server 2.1.1 but it may be Super) since we have other databases running off of that which need almost 24/7 uptime. The message from doing another gfix -shut -force or -attach or -tran is invalid shutdown mode for dbname which appears to match with the documentation of what happens if the database is already fully shut down. Ideas and input greatly appreciated, especially since at the moment time is a factor for me. Thanks! EDIT: The whole reason I shut down the DB is to clear out "active" transactions which were linked to a specific IP address, and that computer is my dev terminal (actually a virtual machine where I develop frontends for the database software) but I had no processes connecting to the database at the time. They looked like orphaned transactions to me, and they weren't in limbo afaik. Running a manual sweep didn't clear them out, deleting the rows from MON$STATEMENTS didn't work even though Firebird 2.1 supposedly supports cancelling queries that way. My last resort was to "restart" the database, hence the above issue.

    I am trying to run net time on a Windows 7 box with an account that is part of the Administrators group. When I run the command net time from an elevated command prompt I get the following error: System error 5 has occurred. Access is denied. Why is this happening? I've looked at this Microsoft Knowledge Base article and have gone through the steps. Both the computer and the DC are connected to the same NTP server and I've verified they're synced I'm working on a local account so there should be no permissions issues There is no local firewall running

  • Excel hyperlink not redirecting properly (bug?)

    I don't know is this is the right place to post this questions, but I have an excel hyperlink problem. Here's the thing. I click on let's say "A1", copy the link in it (http://www.godaddy.com/domains/searchresults.aspx?ci=54814), right click on hyperlink and copy that SAME URL as the link (if it is not automatically detected and changed). When I go to click on it, I am readirected to http://www.godaddy.com/domains/search.aspx?ci=53972. If I copy and paste the link directly into the browser, it works fine.   • When using procmail with maildir, it returns error with code I found

    I'm not an expert at procmail, but I have this code: DROPPRIVS=yes DEFAULT=$HOME/Maildir/ :0 * ? /usr/bin/test -d $DEFAULT || /bin/mkdir $DEFAULT { } :0 E { # Bail out if directory could not be created EXITCODE=127 HOST=bail.out } MAILDIR=$HOME/Maildir/ But, when the directory already exists, sometimes it will send a return email with this error: 554 5.3.0 unknown mailer error 127. The email still gets delivered, mind you, but it sends back an error code. I fixed this temporarily by commenting out the EXITCODE and HOST lines, but I'd like to know if there is a better solution. I found this block of code in multiple places across the net, but couldn't really find why this error was coming back to me. It seems to happen when I send an email to a local user, sometimes the user has a .forward file to send it on to other users, sometimes not, but the result has been the same. I also tried removing DROPPRIVS, just in case it was messing up the forwarding, but it did not seem to affect it. Is the line starting with * ? /usr/bin/test a problem? The * signifies a regex, but the ? makes it return an integer value, correct? What is the integer being matched against? Or is it just comparing the integer return value? Thanks for the help.
