    Hi all: I have a php script that updates a database via an api. This script works on one server but not on another. Both servers have curl enabled and they have php 5.2.6 or above. The error happens in the do_put() method. The rest of the script seems to be fine. In Enterprise Manager Database Control with Oracle Database 10.2.0.4 and 10.2.0.5, the root certificate used to secure communications via the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol will expire on 31-Dec-2010 00:00:00. The certificate expiration will cause errors if you attempt to configure Database Control on or after 31-Dec-2010. Existing Database Control configurations are not affected by this issue. Likelihood of Occurrence What Versions Are Affected? The issue impacts configuration of Database Control with Oracle Database 10.2.0.4 and 10.2.0.5 only. It does not impact database creation or upgrade. The issue does not impact existing Database Control configurations. What Happens During Database Control Configuration Failure? Older versions of PowerPoint allowed the audio to be saved as external sound files. I'd like to perform noise-reduction and minor editing outside of PowerPoint.     Getting a “Could not find permission set named ‘ASP.Net’” error on your TFS 2010 server? It may have to do with the fact you’re trying to run ASP.NET as a child site of a SharePoint Web Site. The problem is described in the “ASP.NET 4 braking changes” site:   This error occurs because the ASP.NET 4 code access security (CAS) infrastructure looks for a permission set named ASP.Net. However, the partial trust configuration file that is referenced by WSS_Minimal does not contain any permission sets with that name. Currently there is not a version of SharePoint available that is compatible with ASP.NET. As a result, you should not attempt to run an ASP.NET 4 Web site as a child site underneath SharePoint Web sites.   There is a workaround you could try by setting this in your web.config, if you know what you’re doing: <trust level="Full" originUrl="" />

  • Exchange 2010 Deployment Notes &ndash; iPhone and Exchange ActiveSync issue

    After we moved one of our user mailboxes from Exchange 2003 to 2010, the user started getting a Cannot get mail. The connection to the server failed error message on their iPhone device. There are a lot of references on Google to check for inherited permissions to resolve the error message.  We quickly determined that we were not dealing with a permissions issue. After some additional troubleshooting and research, we were able to isolate the problem to a device partnership issue. To resolve the issue, use ADSI Edit to find the user object. When you find the user object, double-click on it and you should see a CN=ExchangeActiveSyncDevices container under the user object as shown below.  On the right-hand side, you should see one or more device partnerships.   Right-click the device partnership according to the device the user is using, and click Delete. After you remove the device partnership, please wait until Active Directory replication completes before you set up the device again.

  • Is the June 2010 DX SDK really the latest?

    I have not been involved in game development, using the DirectX SDK, since around 2008. From the looks of it, the June 2010 release, of the DirectX SDK, is still the latest release. This release is more than two years ago, based on the name. Is this still the latest release, or has there been a naming convention change and I am missing something newer?     SharePoint 2010 Training: more information You might have seen the following dreadful message - As this post on blogs.msdn.com details out, this is due to a health analyzer rule configured in SharePoint. While that blogpost does a great job explaining why this monitoring is necessary, how you can tweak it, it still becomes a nuisance on SharePoint virtual machines used for development. It also becomes a nuisance on production environments because SharePoint databases are set to auto grow. In other words, as the database is being used, it only grows, and grows, and GROWS!   • Where can I get a definition of how the code is laid out in VB.NET 2010?

    I am just starting out learning Visual Basic 2010. I have books and videos. The books all seem to be written for people who have some programming experience, even the books that say they are for beginners. The videos were great until they started talking about variables. I got the basics of them but they started into complicated variables and I don’t see the need for them right away. Where can I go to see code for fairly intricate applications written out, with an over lay of definitions of which part of the code is a method as opposed to a class and so on? Also, I am working at a company that does not use SQL. So I need to use Access 2007 for all of my tables. Is there much of a difference to the coding?
