    I did a git on the com.android.music app and then created a project in eclipse from existing code. I chose 2.1 as the sdk target but I am getting errors trying to compile. Is the music app referencing code that is not part of the 2.1 sdk? Can someone list the steps for how to compile in eclipse?     I wrote my Win32 App to test and debug. I've created a datamodule with all functionality needed to run the TCP sockets and IBDatabase components. After successfully testing the Datamodule in the Win32 application environment I am trying to hook the Datamodule into a Service Application template that I created, I can get nowhere in getting it to run. Could someone indicate whether this strategy of using a Datamodule with Component functionality encapsulating the primary service functions is workable and give a simple template example of how to hook it up if it is??

    (I am running Linux Ubuntu 9.10, so the extension for an executable is executablefile.out) I am just getting into modular programming (programming with multiple files) in C and I want to know how to compile multiple files in a single makefile. I've got terminals with versions 1.7 and 3.3 of VMAC, and I'm unaware of the differences.     I was reading Code Complete 2 and it mentions this: Many version-control tools wil insert version information into a file. In CVS, for exmple the characters // $id$ Will Automaticly expand to // $id: ClassName.java, v 1.1 2004/02/05 00:36:42 ismene Exp $ So now I would like to do something similar with VSS for our SQL scripts I have been googling around for the answer but can't find it. Is this possible? can someone maybe point me in the right direction?

  • Wordpress installed in root folder, subdomain now not working, GoDaddy host

    Hi, please forgive me for being a complete beginner at this, I'd rather not have to try to deal with this myself but as GoDaddy support have not replied after 2 days I'm going to have to. I think my problem is the same as the one above, but I'm not 100% sure, so I'm reposting it, I'm not really confident enough to attempt to try the fixes I've seen here so I need someone to give me baby instructions? Our original website (www.mwpics.com.au) was built in Dreamweaver etc, recently we created a new website in Wordpress, in a subdomain, then migrated it over to the root folder where it is now operating fine. I also moved the files for the old website into another directory which I called 'old', so they're all still there. The problem is that I have a subdomain set up - which is still showing as set up in the control panel on godaddy the url is www.mwpics.com.au/clients and it is at www.clients.mwpics.com.au. This directory contains loads of other directories, each of which is password protected by .htaccess files and which our clients access directly (not through the site) to download their finished work. The test one and the one for random clients is www.mwpics.com.au/clients/temp - username and password both temp (the usernames are all the same as the directory names). Since the WP install to the root directory the /clients extension no longer works (it should bring up an information page which is an .html index page in the directory) and the /clients/name extensions no longer works - it goes back to the wp site with a 'not found' error message. Strangely it does bring up the box for the username and password, but when you enter it it just goes back to the 'not found' message. Someone told me it was the .htaccess file - so as an experiment, I renamed the .htaccess file in the root directory and then copied the .htaccess file from the old root files into the root directory, eureka! It worked - and also the WP site opened to the home page... but bummer - the /pages in the WP site now no longer worked! But at least I know the source of the problem. So I switched it back and this is the status quo - I have no idea how to fix this, and with everyone back at work tomorrow, clients are going to want to start downloading their stuff... Can anyone help me? I'm starting to panic a bit

    Hello, I am a seasoned Delphi developer and would like to create something like seamless terminal services where an application is executed on a server but appears on the the desktop of the client. To someone working on the server i don't want them to see the remote application running (except if they looked in at the list of running processes). Im lost as to how to go about this, where to start, how to get an application to render to a surface other than the servers desktop. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

  • How can I trigger a transition effect when a child control is added or removed in flex?

    I've got a custom component that has children components dynamically added and removed to it depending on what button the user clicks. What I would like to do is trigger a transition effect that moves the child component onto the stage when it's added and then moves it off when it's removed. Does anyone have a good example on how to accomplish this? Edit: I figured it out and left my solution below. I hope it helps someone else!

    Hi, I had a pending changelist in my workspace. By mistake I reverted one of the files by reverting to depot. Eclipse wiped off the local history. I am not sure if perforce keeps any history for pending changelists. Could someone tell me if it is possible to recover such file. Thanks Nayn
