  • Using custom .jar's in your java project

    - by Aidan
Hi guys, I'm importing from two jar's twitter4j-2.0.10.jar and mysql-connector-java-5.1.10-bin.jar, I'm running the code on a server but it's not letting me. I get a.. Streamer.java:9: package twitter4j does not exist import twitter4j.StatusDeletionNotice; ^ error when compiling. I know this has something to do with getting java to recognise my custom jar's but I don't know how to get java to "see" them. Any ideas?

  • How do I get the set of all letters in Java/Clojure?

    - by Jason Baker
In Python, I can do this: >>> import string >>> string.letters 'abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ' Is there any way to do something similar in Clojure (apart from copying and pasting the above characters somewhere)? I looked through both the Clojure standard library and the java standard library and couldn't find it.

  • Can I mix declarative and programmatic layout in GWT 2.0?

    - by stuff22
I'm trying to redo an existing panel that I made before GWT 2.0 was released. The panel has a few text fields and a scrollable panel below in a VerticalPanel. What I'd like to do is to make the scrollable panel with UIBinder and then add that to a VerticalPanel Below is an example I created to illustrate this: public class ScrollTablePanel extends ResizeComposite{ interface Binder extends UiBinder<Widget, ScrollTablePanel > { } private static Binder uiBinder = GWT.create(Binder.class); @UiField FlexTable table1; @UiField FlexTable table2; public Test2() { initWidget(uiBinder.createAndBindUi(this)); table1.setText(0, 0, "testing 1"); table1.setText(0, 1, "testing 2"); table1.setText(0, 2, "testing 3"); table2.setText(0, 0, "testing 1"); table2.setText(0, 1, "testing 2"); table2.setText(0, 2, "testing 3"); table2.setText(1, 0, "testing 4"); table2.setText(1, 1, "testing 5"); table2.setText(1, 2, "testing 6"); } } then the xml: <ui:UiBinder xmlns:ui='urn:ui:com.google.gwt.uibinder' xmlns:g='urn:import:com.google.gwt.user.client.ui' xmlns:mail='urn:import:com.test.scrollpaneltest'> <g:DockLayoutPanel unit='EM'> <g:north size="2"> <g:FlexTable ui:field="table1"></g:FlexTable> </g:north> <g:center> <g:ScrollPanel> <g:FlexTable ui:field="table2"></g:FlexTable> </g:ScrollPanel> </g:center> </g:DockLayoutPanel> </ui:UiBinder> Then do something like this in the EntryPoint: public void onModuleLoad() { VerticalPanel vp = new VerticalPanel(); vp.add(new ScrollTablePanel()); vp.add(new Label("dummy label text")); vp.setWidth("100%"); RootLayoutPanel.get().add(vp); } But when I add the ScrollTablePanel to the VerticalPanel, only the first FlexTable (test1) is visible on the page, not the whole ScrollTablePanel. Is there a way to make this work where it is possible to mix declarative and programmatic layout in GWT 2.0?

  • What is the XML spec for importing into Microsoft Project?

    - by montek
From our existing, internal tracking system I would like to create an XML export that I can then bring into Microsoft Project 2007 to further display and manipulation. I've been unable to find a straightforward explanation of how the XML should look for this kind of import. I want to be able to create dependencies, assign resources, etc. The Excel/CSV imports don't appear to offer all these capabilities so I think XML is the better way...if I could just get a spec for it.

Wanted to know if something like this is possible: In views.home.common.scala.html: @component1 = { some common html } @component2 = { some other stuff } In views.home.sample.scala.html: @(user:User) import home._ @component1 @common.component2 Haven't had any luck thus far and I don't see anything similar in the samples but the idea is covered in the Template common use cases.

  • viewing files in python?

    - by Galilsnap
I am creating a sort of "Command line" in Python. I already added a few functions, such as changing login/password, executing, etc., But is it possible to browse files in the directory that the main file is in with a command/module, or will I have to make the module myself and use the import command? Same thing with changing directories to view, too.

  • JList with JScrollPane and prototype cell value wraps element names (replaces with dots instead of s

    - by Tom
I've got a Jlist inside a JScrollPane and I've set a prototype value so that it doesn't have to calculate the width for big lists, but just uses this default width. Now, the problem is that the Jlist is for some reason replacing the end of an element with dots (...) so that a horizontal scrollbar will never be shown. How do I disable with "wrapping"? So that long elements are not being replaced with dots if they are wider than the Jlist's width? I've reproduced the issue in a small example application. Please run it if you don't understand what I mean: import javax.swing.*; import java.awt.*; public class Test { //window private static final int windowWidth = 450; private static final int windowHeight = 500; //components private JFrame frame; private JList classesList; private DefaultListModel classesListModel; public Test() { load(); } private void load() { //create window frame = new JFrame("Test"); frame.setSize(windowWidth, windowHeight); frame.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE); frame.setUndecorated(true); frame.getRootPane().setWindowDecorationStyle(JRootPane.PLAIN_DIALOG); //classes list classesListModel = new DefaultListModel(); classesList = new JList(classesListModel); classesList.setPrototypeCellValue("prototype value"); classesList.setSelectionMode(ListSelectionModel.SINGLE_SELECTION); classesList.setVisibleRowCount(20); JScrollPane scrollClasses = new JScrollPane(classesList, JScrollPane.VERTICAL_SCROLLBAR_AS_NEEDED, JScrollPane.HORIZONTAL_SCROLLBAR_AS_NEEDED); for (int i = 0; i < 200; i++) { classesListModel.addElement("this is a long string, does not fit in width"); } //panel JPanel drawingArea = new JPanel(); drawingArea.setBackground(Color.white); drawingArea.add(scrollClasses); frame.add(drawingArea); //set visible frame.setVisible(true); } } Even if you force horizontal scrollbar, you still won't be able to scroll because the element is actually not wider than the width because of the dot (...) wrapping. Thanks in advance.

  • How can I add imports to an "eval"ed piece of clojure code?

    - by Zubair
I would like to evaluate some clojure code entered by users interactively, and I would like to "use" certain namespaces and "import" certain Java classes as well. I end up running the code using: (defn execute-command [string-command] let [ code-with-context (add-code-context string-command) result (eval(read-string code-with-context)) ] result ) My question is how can I program "add-code-context" to add the required context to the code in "string-command"?

  • cellForRowAtIndexPath not being called, but rowsInSections is and it's delegate is set

    - by Jhorra
    I searched around prior to posting this and made sure I hadn't missed anything obvious, though I have a feeling I am missing something basic. I'm using this as a sidebar navigation view. I tried making them static cells and pre-populating them, but they were blank that way as well. When I do it this way I can see everything gets called except that. I've tried deleting it and re-adding it. #import "acxSideBarController.h" @interface acxSideBarController () @end @implementation acxSideBarController @synthesize sidebarDelegate = _sidebarDelegate; - (id)initWithStyle:(UITableViewStyle)style { self = [super initWithStyle:style]; if (self) { // Custom initialization } return self; } - (void)viewDidLoad { [super viewDidLoad]; if ([self.sidebarDelegate respondsToSelector:@selector(lastSelectedIndexPathForSidebarViewController:)]) { NSIndexPath *indexPath = 0; [self.tableView selectRowAtIndexPath:indexPath animated:NO scrollPosition:UITableViewScrollPositionNone]; } self.tableView.backgroundColor = [UIColor underPageBackgroundColor]; self.tableView.dataSource = self; self.tableView.delegate = self; } - (void)viewDidUnload { [super viewDidUnload]; } - (void)viewWillAppear:(BOOL)animated { [super viewWillAppear:animated]; } - (BOOL)shouldAutorotateToInterfaceOrientation:(UIInterfaceOrientation)interfaceOrientation { return (interfaceOrientation == UIInterfaceOrientationPortrait); } #pragma mark - Table view data source - (NSInteger)numberOfSectionsInTableView:(UITableView *)tableView { return 3; } - (NSInteger)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView numberOfRowsInSection:(NSInteger)section { if(section == 0) return 2; else if(section == 1) return 1; else return 1; } - (UITableViewCell *)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView cellForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath { static NSString *CellIdentifier = @"linkCell"; UITableViewCell *cell = [tableView dequeueReusableCellWithIdentifier:CellIdentifier]; if (cell == nil) { cell = [[UITableViewCell alloc] initWithStyle:UITableViewCellStyleDefault reuseIdentifier:CellIdentifier]; } NSString *name = @""; if(indexPath.section == 1) name = @"Inbox"; else if(indexPath.section == 2) name = @"Logout"; else { if(indexPath.row == 0) name = @"Roster"; else if(indexPath.row == 1) name = @"Environmental Variables"; } cell.textLabel.text = name; cell.textLabel.textColor = [UIColor darkTextColor]; return cell; } - (NSString *)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView titleForHeaderInSection:(NSInteger)section { if(section == 0) return @"Students"; else if(section == 1) return @"Communication"; else return @" "; } #pragma mark - Table view delegate - (void)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView didSelectRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath { if (self.sidebarDelegate) { [self.sidebarDelegate acxSideBarController:self atIndexPath:indexPath]; } } @end If it's helpful here's the header file #import <UIKit/UIKit.h> @protocol acxSideBarControllerDelegate; @interface acxSideBarController : UITableViewController @property (nonatomic, assign) id <acxSideBarControllerDelegate> sidebarDelegate; @end @protocol acxSideBarControllerDelegate <NSObject> - (void)acxSideBarController:(acxSideBarController *)acxSideBarController atIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath; @optional - (NSIndexPath *)lastSelectedIndexPathForacxSideBarController:(acxSideBarController *)acxSideBarController; @end
