  Can I quickly disable and enable intellisence (and any other features employing on-the-fly interpretation of the code being edited) for a particular file in Visual Studio 2010? It works to slow on my laptop sometimes, causing the text I type to appear with one symbol per 3 seconds speed.

• ASP.Net File Upload Network Issue

  I have tried both the .net FileUpload control and the ajax Asyncfileuploadcontrol to upload a file less than 500kb. It seems that when I tried to go through my wireless router (att.bellsouth) that the uploads always fail, however when I plug my droid into my laptop and use my pda connection it works perfectly fine. I'm wondering if the network connection from my house to my server could be causing this issue, and if anyone had any solutions to this problem. Tomorrow I'm going to try and upload from other networks and pray it works.

  I have a desktop application (C# .NET 3.5) that uses a SQL server for it's database. I have had a request from the client, however, to make it possible to export the database as it stands, and be able to use it on a laptop without connectivity. They understand that updates to the parent server will not be reflected in these offline clients. Is there a way I can just save the DataSet's to a binary form and write them to a disk and send those files to the offline clients.

  I'd like to set some autorun task to Eclipse, or simply set the command with path, how to run my Apache while starting Eclipse. My point is, that I don't want webserver (Apache) to be running after OS start, because it's useless load for my laptop.   Is there a way to detect when a specific device is plugged into a usb port, what I would like to happen is when I plug my laptop into my docking station it run up several apps to account for my different keyboard, mouse and monitors.   my site is aimed purely at the laptop market (dont ask why or argue!), all my users (or 95%+) we on a screen width of 1200+, netbooks are now taking off, with a resolution of 1024 wide. my site still looks great on a netbook if you zoom out once (ctrl-minus), but i don't want to rely on users knowing about ctrl-minus. what are my options besides redesign? I'm keen not to have zoom buttons on my page. is there a javascript zoomer outer?!!!

  When you unplug an external monitor with a higher resolution that your macbook from your laptop, the windows mostly retain their width, but their size gets clipped to the (smaller) height of the macbook screen. When you plug the monitor back in, their size remains frustratingly small. My question is: is there any way that I can iterate over all open windows, save their size, and restore them once the monitor gets plugged in again?

It looks going to be simple (thanks to the application structure) and beneficial (as all I have is one oldy laptop as a client and one tough server which runs SQL Server 2008, and building a separate service for the logic can just introduce more latency if compared to doing it inside the database).
