    Hi, I making a game leaderboard on facebook. I'm not using connect but working inside the canvas. When I try to load the images from facebook it gives me the following error. SecurityError: Error #2122: Security sandbox violation: Loader.content: http://test cannot access http://profile.ak.fbcdn.net/v22941/254/15/q652310588_2173.jpg A policy file is required, but the checkPolicyFile flag was not set when this media was loaded.     Not a Noob as yesterday, but still green. I have been playing around with the code that Elisabeth Robson has put together HERE. I have a UITabbarcontoller and a IUNavigationController they seem to work fine. I have a UITableviewController to which I loads my NSMutable array. The user clicks a cell and didSelectRowAtIndexPath xib is loaded onto the stack. I put a 'Learn More' button on the current xib(BookDetailView). I've tried a few approaches to load a newer xib when the 'Learn More' button is pressed but have failed. Ive Tried IBAction and Pushing the Newer xib to the top. Do I need to create another view controller? Thanks for looking.

    heyy there i want to parse a text,let's name it 'post', and 'urlize' some strings if they contain a particular character, in a particular position. my 'pseudocode' trial would look like that: def urlize(post) for string in post if string icontains ('#') url=(r'^searchn/$', searchn, name='news_searchn'), then apply url to the string return urlize(post) i want the function to return to me the post with the urlized strings, where necessary (just like twitter does). i don't understand: how can i parse a text, and search for certain strings? is there ok to make a function especially for 'urlizing' some strings? The function should return the entire post, no matter if it has such kind of strings. is there another way Django offers? Thank you

I read here that GetType() should unbox the Nullable<T> so it returns T but if I call that on PropertyInfo.PropertyType I get ReflectedMemberInfo and not the type T im looking for. I think im missing something obvious here, so I thought I would throw it open to SO to get some advice. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Jamee

  • Jquery broken by GetResponse (email marketing) web form script

    I'm working on a site that relies on quite a bit of javascript. The problem is, I'm not a javascript guru in the least. Yes, bit off more than I can chew, here. I'm using jquery for a spy effect, and use GetResponse for email signups. If I implement my GetResponse script, it breaks the area later in the page which depends on the jquery script. Pull the GetResponse script and it works just fine. Problem is, I need them both. ;) The trick, I suppose, is that the GetResponse script is actually another Jquery script, so it's getting called twice... Any help?   • jQuery: How can I animate to a taller height with the height being added to the top of the element?

    Hi, I have a simple problem but I am not sure how to solve it. Basically I have some hidden content that, once expanded, requires a height of 99px. While collapsed the element holding it section#newsletter is set to be 65px in height. LIVE EXAMPLE: http://dev.supply.net.nz/asap-finance-static/ On the click of a#signup_form the section#newsletter is expanded to 99px using the following jQuery: $('#newsletter_form').hide(); // hide the initial form fields $('#form_signup').click(function(event) { event.preventDefault(); // stop click // animate $('section#newsletter').animate({height: 99}, 400, function() { $('#newsletter_form').show(300); }) }); All this works great except for the fact that this element sits in a sticky footer so its initial height is used to position it. Animating the height of this element causes scrollbars on the browser, because the 34px added are added to the bottom of the element, so my question: How can I add these 34px to the top of the element so the height expands upwards into the body not downwards?     Hi! I am trying to return the absolute position of an element in a SVG. I have tried using basic javascript functions to return the relative position but I only have access to the contentDocument since the SVG is embeded using an OBJECT tag. Because of this I cannot recurse thru the elements to find the position of the element position... Is there any native SVG functions to get the position of an element relative to the SVG element (X=0, Y=0)? Thank you, Morten!

  • Web form is not updating tables, why?

    I have a web application and on page is an update page to update some profile information. Below is the code I am using to update the table. But I think it is wrong. Does anything stick out? The connection string works cause it is used to read the database to get the profile information, I just removed it due to it containing password/login info for the db. player is the class of properties that contains player information and ds is the dataset, but I would like to update the database itself online...     Hi, I'm using Delphitwain (delphitwain.sourceforge.net) to add scan functionality to my app. Everything was fine, when i click scan button on my app it will show scan mode with scanner's Properties such as Page Size, Scanning Side (canon dr-3010c) and there is a Scan button and Cancel button. If i click cancel of course all the properties back to it's value before. How can I show this Scanner's Properties only to change properties without Scan, since i can do scan without showing properties Twain.LoadLibrary; Twain.LoadSourceManager; Twain.Source[CurrentSource].Loaded := TRUE; Twain.Source[CurrentSource].TransferMode := TTwainTransferMode(0); Twain.Source[CurrentSource].EnableSource(True, True); while Twain.Source[CurrentSource].Enabled do Application.ProcessMessages; Twain.UnloadLibrary; Twain.Source[CurrentSource].EnableSource(True, True); The first True for ShowUI and the second True for Modal I know it can be achieved 'cos i've seen another application that can show scanner's properties without scan, only OK and Cancel button, i've searched google all over but no luck, or maybe it just the limitation of the delphitwain component?   • silverlight security with WCF service, Forms Authentication and Custom Form Ticket

    I have a silverlight application with login on the silverlight page. It uses Forms Authentication with WCF authentication service and customer Membership Provider. Something like : http://blogs.msdn.com/phaniraj/archive/2009/09/10/using-the-ado-net-data-services-silverlight-client-library-in-x-domain-and-out-of-browser-scenarios-ii-forms-authentication.aspx So, SL page login page calls the WCF service authentication service, it validates using DB - brings back username and password. Now, in each subsequent calls (in Global.asax in Authenticate_Request, I get HttpContext.User.IsAuthenticated and HttpContext.User.UserName). I have all this working properly. But, I just don't want the username, but more information surrounding the user, like UserId, UserAddress, UserAssociateCustomer etc. I tried couple of different approaches. 1) Use HttpContext.Cache as a dictionary to save the item and get it off based on httpcontext.user.name, problem is cache can be erased if there memory is being used heavily. 2) Tried CustomFormsAuth Ticket, when forms authentication writes a ticket, I intercept CreatingCookie method and write additional info in formauthentication ticket, so that I can read it in subsequent requests, I am having problems with this approach, I don't find the ticket in subsequent requests. I read about how we should use REsponse.Redirect, but where do I redirect user from WCF call. How do you guys implement the above scenario? Any best practices.? Any issues you see with going on HTTPS? All examples (or most of them) just explains simple forms authentication with "I am logged in message".. Any suggestions ?

  • VS2010 and CSS: What is the best strategy to individually position form controls

    OK, I have a ton of controls on my page that I need to individually place. I need to set a margin here, a padding there, etc. None of these particular styles that I want to apply will be applied to more than control. What is the bets practice for determining at which level the style is placed, etc? OK, my choices are 1) External CSS file 1A) Using ClientIdMode = Auto (the default) I could assign a unique CssClass value to the ASP.NET control and, in the external CSS file, create a class selector that would only be applied to that one control. 1B) User Client ID = Predicatable In the external CSS file, I could determine what the ID will be for the controls of interest and create an ID selector (#ControlID{Style} ). However, I fear maintenance issues due to including/removing parent containers that would cause the ID to change. 1C) User Client ID = Static. I could choose static IDs for the controls such that I minimize the likelihood of a clash with auto generated IDs (perhaps by prefixing the ID with "StaticID_" and use an external stylesheet with ID selectors. 2) I could place the style right on the control. The only disadvantage here, as I see it, is that style info is brought down each time instead of being cached , which is what I'd get using an external CSS. If a style isn't resused, I personally don't see much benefit to placing it in an external file, though please explain why if you disagree. Is there moire of a reason that "It's nice to have all the CSS in one place?"

  • PDF Form Field Manipulation

    I'm making a web interface to autofill pdf forms with user data from a database. The admin needs to be able to upload a pdf (right now targeted at IRS pdf forms) and then associate the fields in the pdf with data fields in the database. I need a way to help the admin associate the field names (stuff like "topmostSubform[0].Page2[0].p2-t66[0]") with the the data fields in the database. I'm looking for a way to modify the PDF programatically to in some way provide this information. Basically I'm open to suggestions on how I might make the field names appear in an obvious manner on a modified version of the original pdf. The closest I've gotten is being able to insert Tooltips into the fields in the pdf by just editting the raw pdf line by line. However when editting the pdf in this manner the field names are gibberish, and so I can't just use them. An optimal solution would be anything that could automatically parse a pdf and set each field's tooltip to be the fields name. Anything that can be run from the command line, or any python tool, or just a basic how to correctly parse a field's name from a raw pdf file would be amazing.

  • Prevent SQL injection from form-generated SQL.

    Hi all, I have a search table where user will be able to filter results with a filter of the type: Field [Name], Value [John], Remove Rule Field [Surname], Value [Blake], Remove Rule Field [Has Children], Value [Yes], Remove Rule Add Rule So the user will be able to set an arbitrary set of filters, which will result essentially in a completely dynamic WHERE clause. In the future I will also have to implement more complicated logical expressions, like Where (name=John OR name=Nick) AND (surname=Blake OR surname=Bourne), Of all 10 fields the user may or may not filter by, I don't know how many and which filters the user will set. So, I cannot use a prepared statement (which assumes that at least we know the fields in the WHERE clause). This is why prepared statements are unfortunately out of the question, I have to do it with plain old, generated SQL. What measures can I take to protect the application from SQL Injection (REGEX-wise or any other way)?

    Hello, So i am attempting to make a MasterMind program as sort of exercise. Field of 40 picture boxes (line of 4, 10 rows) 6 buttons (red, green, orange, yellow, blue, purple) When i press one of these buttons (lets assume the red one) then a picture box turns red. My question is how do i iterate trough all these picture boxes? I can get it to work but only if i write : And this is offcourse no way to write this, would take me countless of lines that contain basicly the same. private void picRood_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { UpdateDisplay(); pb1.BackColor = System.Drawing.Color.Red; } Press the red button - first picture box turns red Press the blue button - second picture box turns blue Press the orange button - third picture box turns orange And so on... Ive had a previous similar program that simulates a traffic light, there i could assign a value to each color (red 0, orange 1, green 2). Is something similar needed or how exactly do i adress all those picture boxes and make them correspond to the proper button. Best Regards.

  • Algorithm to Render a Horizontal Binary-ish Tree in Text/ASCII form

    It's a pretty normal binary tree, except for the fact that one of the nodes may be empty. I'd like to find a way to output it in a horizontal way (that is, the root node is on the left and expands to the right). I've had some experience expanding trees vertically (root node at the top, expanding downwards), but I'm not sure where to start, in this case. Preferably, it would follow these couple of rules: If a node has only one child, it can be skipped as redundant (an "end node", with no children, is always displayed) All nodes of the same depth must be aligned vertically; all nodes must be to the right of all less-deep nodes and to the left of all deeper nodes. Nodes have a string representation which includes their depth. Each "end node" has its own unique line; that is, the number of lines is the number of end nodes in the tree, and when an end node is on a line, there may be nothing else on that line after that end node. As a consequence of the last rule, the root node should be in either the top left or the bottom left corner; top left is preferred.     I am connecting C# with Oracle 11g. I have a DataTable which i fill using an Oracle Data Adapter. But how do i specify that when i add a new row in this method? I catch this exception ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ("SYSMAN".AUTHOR.AUTHORID") which is obvious because nothing was specified for the primary key. How do get around this? Thanx a lot in advance :)
