  • Citrix client slow to launch

    Was wondering if anyone else experience Citrix client to launch very slowly. While I'm a Windows SA by trade, I consider myself Novice+ on Linux, but I doubt thats the problem. This is the simple scenario: 1. Login to Citrix server to work from home 2. Click on the published application; this typically starts the local Citrix client. 3. Citrix client should start and you're off. Problem is between #2 and #3 I click on the application and 8 out of 9 times there is a 60 second delay and then I get an SSL connection error. I suspect this error is misleading since the connection took too long to open. But I dont know how to prove it (or fix it). I'm able to successfully manually launch wfcmgr without errors; so this leads me to believe Citrix client is installed correctly. I even leave it running thinking this may help, but I don't see a difference with or without this running first. The only times I'm able to connect successfully is when the Citrix client starts up a few seconds after clicking on the application. I've searched online for articles that might help, but tried a number of fixes without much difference. Even tried "ln -sf /dev/urandom /dev/random" as suggested by this article, but no dice:http://forums.citrix.com/message.jspa?messageID=1381276 My System (specs that may be relevant) Sony VAIO Laptop VGN-NW270F Linux Mint 11.04 Problem using: FireFox and Chrome Any help would be appreciated. Just trying to either find an answer or guidance on how to determine why its taking so long to launch the Citrix Client. Thanks

  • Setting up ProxyPass for a Virtualmin virtual server

    I am trying to set up my web server so that I can server multiple Ghost.org blogs. I am stuck in one crucial step. To be honest, my knowledge in servers is not so big, so I request your help to do this. Basically, a tutorial I'm reading suggests I set up a VirtualHost in this way: NameVirtualHost *:80 <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName your-url.com ServerAlias www.your-url.com ProxyRequests off ProxyPass / http://127.0.0.1:2368/ ProxyPassReverse / http:/127.0.0.1:2368/ </VirtualHost> So I have gone to the Virtual site on Virtualmin to try to add everything as is. Services Configure Website Edit Directives The problem is, the previous page (Services Configure website) says I can't edit the port: This Apache virtual host belongs to the Virtualmin server linguist.andyibanez.com, so the address, port, base directory and hostname cannot be changed here. And whenever I try to add the ProxyRequests off (the other two can be added fine) directive in Edit Directives manually, I'm simply told that the directive can't be there. So what is the right way to "add" the last three directives in the VirtualHost above to my sub server? Maybe I'm missing a menu item that will help me with this? I request your help as I have looked for a while, Google keeps thinking I want to serve Webmin via Apache when I google "Set up Virtualmin proxypass", and I have no clue what to do.

    Hi, I don't know if it's appropriate to ask for this but I really need to know what's the initial content of /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.com/conf/httpd.include on Godaaddy's VDS because the conf directory was accidentally deleted by somebody and now I cannot start Apache. We didn't purchase an assited service plan so Godaddy won't help me with this. So please, if you're using Godaddy's VDS plan, please help me with this. ** I also need to include in httpd.conf the lines needed for Plesk to work. Thanks a lot

    howdy using vs2008 C# Does anyone know how change the directory location that auto recover files are saved to in visual studio sp1. The specific directory it should be on my C# drive in my documents is always empty even when the feature is turned on. There where some changes to our network env and it seems my auto recover files are now being mapped to network drive and i need to change it back.     I am getting following error in err file. 110803 6:51:26 InnoDB: Error: table `ims`.`temp_discoveryjobdetails` already exists in InnoDB internal InnoDB: data dictionary. Have you deleted the .frm file InnoDB: and not used DROP TABLE? Have you used DROP DATABASE InnoDB: for InnoDB tables in MySQL version <= 3.23.43? InnoDB: See the Restrictions section of the InnoDB manual. InnoDB: You can drop the orphaned table inside InnoDB by InnoDB: creating an InnoDB table with the same name in another InnoDB: database and copying the .frm file to the current database. InnoDB: Then MySQL thinks the table exists, and DROP TABLE will InnoDB: succeed. InnoDB: You can look for further help from InnoDB: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/innodb-troubleshooting.html And when I do the same, like copying the frm file from other database to here and drop the table, i am getting following error, InnoDB: Error: trying to load index PRIMARY for table ims/temp_discoveryjobdetails InnoDB: but the index tree has been freed! 110803 6:50:26 InnoDB: Error: table `ims`.`temp_discoveryjobdetails` does not exist in the InnoDB internal InnoDB: data dictionary though MySQL is trying to drop it. Also can any one tell me why this error is coming. EDIT: The issue is occurring only when disk size is full and when we use Truncate table. Also this is occurring only in 5.1 version but not in 5.0 version.

    Before you point me to Google or serverfault search I want to tell you that I've searched a lot, did some "fixes". They didn't help. I have ISPConfig 3 installed on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Server The server has several domains and lets call the main domain: example.com. I have also demo.com I have several emails on each domain. The status of the email sent between the emails: [email protected] - [email protected] (Success) [email protected] - [email protected] (Failure) The failure is with error: postfix/pipe[31311]: 8E72ED058D: to=<[email protected]>, relay=dovecot, delay=0.1, delays=0.03/0/0/0.07, dsn=5.1.1, status=bounced (user unknown) I saw the fix for removing the example.com from: mydestination = localhost, localhost.localdomain in /etc/postfix/main.cf It didn't help. Also an important thing is that the example.com MX records are Google's. We are using Google Apps for this domain in order to use Gmail servers. I think the problem is that the mail server is not looking for the MX records of the domain. It knows the domain is set on this server and it searches for the destination email on the local server, not on Google's servers. For several days I'm really lost! Thanks for your help in advance!

  • Weird Apache Crash (with Dump) zend_hash_find (), libphp5.so

    To be honest I don't have experience working with Apache. I'm just putting the best of my intentions on solving this and don't know if I'm making it right. So any help will be greatly appreciated. We have a php page wich is throwing the following message in the browser: Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data. The logs from /var/log/httpd doesn't seem to help because It seems that the Apache is unable to write any information. So the exception or error is preventing the writing (maybe ocurring in some stage of the process that makes impossible to log?). I've read about the procedure to make dumps of the apache, and here we have the content: Reading symbols from /lib64/libgpg-error.so.0...(no debugging symbols found)...done. Loaded symbols for /lib64/libgpg-error.so.0 Reading symbols from /usr/lib64/php/modules/zip.so...(no debugging symbols found)...done. Loaded symbols for /usr/lib64/php/modules/zip.so Core was generated by `/usr/sbin/httpd'. Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault. 0 0x00007fb828fff712 in zend_hash_find () from /etc/httpd/modules/libphp5.so Missing separate debuginfos, use: debuginfo-install httpd-2.2.15-15.el6.centos.1.x86_64 I've been looking in the PHP files and I haven't found any direct call to zend_hash_find (wich seems to be causing the error). I've been looking at Google but found nothing related. Can somebody please help? Is there any step that I need to accomplish to know more? Thanks a lot, as always!
