It should work with various customer environments and DRMs - like LSF, Sun Grid and others. Can you recommend some 3rd party library, which hides DRM differences from me and has API like "launch job", "get list of jobs", "get job status" etc. ?     I'd like a timer class that allows me to call: .start()   .getElapsedTime()   .stop()   .reset() Does Java have such a class, or do I need to use my own (which I've already written). From a best-practice point of view, I should use the Java class libraries classes if they exist, but I'm not sure whether this one does.   • About the armlink behavior when the linked object is not explicitly used by the main executable

    I want to link the example with liba.so, and also the example is NOT using anything inside the liba.so ... armlink --userlibpath /mylib/lib liba.so --fpic --shared -o example main.o demo.o So finally I got nothing from: readelf -d example | grep NEEDED, it seems that armlink do some optimization to remove the linked library which is not really used by the "example" ? If I want to let the liba.so be always linked into example, what need I do with armlink options ? Any information is very appreciated ;)

    How can I generate types like these using the System.Reflection.Emit libraries: public class Test<T> {} public class Test<T1, T2> {} When I call ModuleBuilder.DefineType(string) with the second type declaration, I get an exception because there is already another type in the module with the same name (I've already defined the type parameter on the first type). I've checked my Release and Debug folders but those executable don't work. The release .exe is something like 21KB which doesn't seem right. For the sake of conformance I adopted this in my own code. But it is not clear to me whether this should be done for application code as well. I've seen a few cases where a flat directory structure is used for that. What would be the recommended approach?
