• Getting time from a cell in Google Spreadsheet

  Hi I have created a Google Spreadsheet form in which for one of the fields I get the time (hh:mm:ss) in 24-hour format. I am using Google Apps Scripts to read values from this spreadsheet and put it into another file. But the other file gets the entire date (don't know from where) and shows a date from 1899. Also the time is shown in PDT (not my time zone). Even the time it prints is not correct How do I read the column value as a string and put it in the other file OR get just the time from the column value (and the correct time) I am using a simple row[0][3] to get the values from an array after doing range.getValues() Thanks.

• C# - Listing class properties like Immediate window

  Hi, I store a few classes in session. I want to be able to see the values of my class properties in trace viewer. By default I only the Type name MyNamespace.MyClass. I was wondering if I overwrite the .ToString() method and use reflection to loop over all the properties and construct a string like that ... it would do the trick but just wanted to see if there is anything already out there (specially since Immediate Window has this capability) which does the same ... i.e. list the class property values in trace instead of just the Name of the class.   I have a methode in2.getImagesOneDim() which gives me an array of integers, to be more precise the pixel values of an image. Now i want to create one big array with all the pixel values of all the images. Therefore I have to call this method several times. Now I would like to concatenate the previous output to the current output until all images are read. In some kind of pseudo code, where the + is a concatination ... : for (int i = 1; i < 25; i++) { ConArray = ConArray + in2.getImagesOneDim("../images/"+i); } How would I do this in java ?

• What GC parameters is a JVM running with?

  I'm still investigating issues I have with GC tuning (see prior question), which involves lots of reading and experimentation. Sun Java5+ JVMs attempt to automatically select the optimal GC strategy and parameters based on their environment, which is great, but I can't figure out how to query the running JVM to find out what those parameters are. Ideally, I'd like to see what values of the various GC-related -XX options are being used, as selected automatically by the VM. If I had that, I could have a baseline to begin tweaking. Anyone know to recover these values from a running VM?

I want to find all values in data that contain 'underscore r underscore'. • Clear the form once form submitted

  Once the form submitted, response from another page is printed to #GameStorySys. But values entered to the form still stays there. • C#, Using Custom Generic Collection faster with objects than List

  Hello, I'm using for now List< to iterate through some object collection and find matching element, The problem is that object has only 2 significant values Name and Link (strings) but has some other values wich I dont want to compare. I'm thinkig about using something like HashSet (wich is exactly what I'm searching for - fast) from .NET 3.5 but target framework has to be 2.0. There is something called Power Collections here: http://powercollections.codeplex.com/ But maybe there is other way? If not, can you suggest me a suitable custom collection?

  Ok I know little about SQL so bare with me... I'm trying to see if certain values exist in a third level table and I don't know how to go about it. Here is the scenario... I have a Accident table that holds accident information. It has 3 one-to-many child tables (Units, Occupants, NonMotorists). An each of those child tables have their own many-to-many child table (Alcohol). I need to be able to have some way of seeing if a range of values exists in a field in those Alcohol tables.   In SQL server 2008 I have some huge tables (200-300+ cols). Every day we run a batch job generating a new table with timestamp appended to the name of the table. The the tables have no PK. I would like a generic way to compare 2 rows from two tables. Showing which cols having different values is sufficient, but showing the values would be perfect. Thanks a lot Thanks for the answers. • Seeking assistance with Escaping Data for MySQL queries

  Please don't send me a link to php.net referencing mysql_real_escape_string as the only response. I have read through the page and while I understand the general concepts, I am having some trouble based on how my INSERT statement is currently built. Today, I am using the following: $sql = "INSERT INTO tablename VALUES ('', '$_SESSION['Member1FirstName'], '$_SESSION['Member1LastName'], '$_SESSION['Member1ID'], '$_SESSION['Member2FirstName'], '$_SESSION['Member2LastName'], '$_SESSION['Member2ID'] .... and the list goes on for 20+ members with some other values entered. It seems most people in the examples already have all their data stored in an array. On my site, I accept form inputs, action="" is set to self, php validation takes place and if validation passes, data is stored into SESSION variables on page 2 then redirected to the next page in the process (page 3) (approximately 8-10 pages in the whole process). thanks!

  I am a bit confused by the Literal keyword and why it is necessary in F#. Reading the docs, it sounds to me that [<Literal>] is used to define a constant, however I am a bit confused how this constant differs from all other constants in F#.. Values that are intended to be constants can be marked with the Literal attribute. This attribute has the effect of causing a value to be compiled as a constant. When I think of a constant, I think of something which is immutable.... let x = "a" + "b" //this is a immutable value, its value is constant [<Literal>] let y = "a" + "b" //this is also a immutable value, but why is this a special constant? Is it because the 'normal' F# values are evaluated lazily and the [<Literal>] is not evaluated lazily..? is that what they mean with 'compiled as constant'..? or is there something else to it?

  I'd like to have a submit button that submits a different value than is displayed on the button. With <input type="submit"> you can't seem to do this. With <button type="submit"> however, these can be two different values. The question is, will it work in all browsers? Trying this test code here: <form method="get" action=""> <input type="text" name="txt"/> <button type="submit" name="btn" value="val">text</button> </form> In FF 3.6 it updates my address bar with both values appropriately (and responds to me pressing enter in the text box). In IE 8, it also accepts pressing enter, displays the text value in the address bar, but it show the button's value as a GET param at all... does that mean it's not submitting it?

  Hi everyone, I am experiencing a problem that has popped up recently and is causing quite a bit of trouble for our system. • form data posted using linq-to-sql not showing until I refresh the page

  I have an asp.net mvc app with a form. When you submit the form, it adds records to the sql database with linq-to-sql. After adding the records, the controller displays the form again, and should show those new values on the form. But, when it displays the form, the values are blank, until you refresh the page. While tracing through the code, I can see the records being added to the database when they are submitted, but the view doesnt display them, unless I refresh. The view is not the problem, it just displays the view model, which is missing the new records immediately after the post. I know this is kind of vague, but wasnt sure what parts of code to include here. Could this have something to do with data context life cycle? Basically, there is a data context created when the form is posted, then a different data context is created in the method that displays the form. Any suggestions on what might be causing this?

  I've got a screen-aligned quad, and I'd like to zoom into an arbitrary rectangle within that quad, but I'm not getting my math right. I think I've got the translate worked out, just not the scaling.   Syntax question: I am using the code below to call a query in Access VBA strSQL = "INSERT INTO tblLoanDetails ([ServerName]) VALUES ('Test') WHERE [ID]=3" Call CurrentDb.Execute(strSQL) And i am getting a runtime error of "3067: Query must contain atleast one table or query." the insert statement string looks like this (Threw the var into a text box): INSERT INTO tblLoanDetails ([ServerName]) VALUES ('Test') WHERE [ID]=3 I also tried adding a semi-colon to the end but with no luck. I also double checked to make sure my table is called tblLoanDetails and my Column names are ServerName, and ID Appreciate any help.

The table variable I'm making has two columns; the physical table has four, the first of which is the identity column, an integer IK. • Django: Inject errors into already validated form?

  After my form.Form validates the user input values I pass them to a separate (external) process for further processing. This external process can potentially find further errors in the values. Is there a way to inject these errors into the already validated form so they can be displayed via the usual form error display methods? Or, are there better alternative approaches? One suggestions was to include the external processing in the form validation. I'm not crazy about this since the external process does a lot more than just validate.

The Sessions object is empty even if the code doesn't returned any error. Is my class Session to compex to be stored in a Dictionary?
