  • [PHP] Processing custom XML namespace within XSL

    I'm using the php class XSLTProcessor to generate HTML from a xsl. Within the xsl, I'd like all my custom namespace elements to be processed by my own processor class. So for example: <xsl:for-each select="doc/elements/*"> <doc:renderElement element="." /> </xsl:for-each> This should call the method renderElement of an instance of my custom processor class. I know I can enable calling php functions by using the registerPHPFunctions function. However, this only seems to support calling static methods.

  • Can Git push / pull over the internet to distributed repos?

    I understand that Git can be used without a central repository. However, I am starting a project with several other people, and we are geographically distributed. I.e. We will never be on the same LAN to synch repos. So my question: Is it possible to push / pull changes from each others repos over the internet? If so, how do I go about it? Easiest non-fuss way.     One of the affiliate networks provides a feed with the following time/date format. <startDate>1349992800000</startDate> <endDate>1355266799999</endDate> My problem is I am trying to convert this to a MYSQL format, I have tried mktime and strtotime with no luck the date seems to come out wrong. I know this is the time since the Equinox, I am just not sure how to convert this to a MYSQL format.

  • Maven install-file won't generate pom.xml

    I've installed some third party jars to my repository using the following command: mvn install:install-file -Dfile=/home/anotherCoder/Downloads/nifty-1.0.jar -DgroupId=nifty-gui -DartifactId=nifty-gui -Dversion=1.0 -Dpackaging=jar However, once I do mvn compile, maven complains that there is no pom file in the repository and attempts to download it, but can't cause it is not published at any remote repository. Here is the exact message from maven: Downloading: http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/nifty-gui/nifty-gui/1.0/nifty-gui-1.0.pom [INFO] Unable to find resource 'nifty-gui:nifty-gui:pom:1.0' in repository central (http://repo1.maven.org/maven2) So how do I get maven to generate a pom file for that jar and put it in my local repository?

  • How can I dynamically set the default namespace declaration of an XSLT transformation's output XML?

    I can do it, but not for the default namespace, using the <xsl:namespace>. If I try to do it for the default namespace: <xsl:namespace name="" select"myUri"/> it never works. It demands that I explicitly define the namespace of the element to be able to use the above null prefix declaration. The reason I want this is because I have a task to transform an input XML file to another output xml. The output XML has many elements and i dont want to have to explicitly set the namespace for every element. Thats why I want to set the default and never bother again. But the default must be computed from some data in the source XML. It does not change during the whole transformation, but it is dependent on input XML data. Any solution? EDIT 1: To sup up: I want to create a namespace dynamically and set it to be the default namespace of the output xml document. The uri of the namespace is derived from some data in the input XML. If I use <xsl:namespace> in my root output element, I cannot create a default namespace for it, only a prefixed one. And even with the prefixed one, it does not propagate to children.

I am trying to use this key to encode a string in Java and am running into an Arithmetic problem (exception) when I attempt to encrypt the string. If it is not obvious, the R.string.public_key_modulus is a copy/paste of the text in the Modulus element, same applies for exponent.

    I am using the SIMPLE RSS reading example found at http://theappleblog.com/2008/08/04/tutorial-build-a-simple-rss-reader-for-iphone/ It uses parseXML to load the RSS feeds. Here is the problem I am having. For the following RSS feed example, I am having trouble getting it to load the feed. Comes up with an error that it cannot connect. However on my Mac RSS Reader it works fine, so I know the link is good.     I want to serialize a class. In this class there's a property, type of Class1, while there are other properties in Class1. public abstract class ComponentBase { [ToSerialize]//An attribute defined my me, indicating whether or not to serialize this property. public ComponentArgs Parameters { get; set; } } public class ComponentArgs { public string WorkingPath { get; set; } public IList<Language> Languages { get; set; } public string ComponentOutputPath { get; set; } } The information serialized must be put into a Dictionary, such as ComponentSettings[str_Name]=str_Value. The method used in reading this value is Reflection. pinfo: Property Info got via Type.GetProperties(); componentSettings.Add(pinfo.Name, pinfo.GetValue((object)this, null).ToString()); The information after serialization is: <Parameters>MS.STBIntl.Pippin.Framework.ComponentArgs</Parameters> instead of the value of ComponentArgs.WorkingPath. The solution I thought of is to append to the following line an if judgement: componentSettings.Add(pinfo.Name, pinfo.GetValue((object)this, null).ToString()); if(pinfo is ComponentArgs) componentSettings.Add(pinfo.Name, pinfo.GetValue( (ComponentArgs)this, null).WorkingPath+"\n"+ LanguageList+"\n"+ //Language list is a concatinated string of all elements in the list. (ComponentArgs)this, null).ComponentOutputPath+"\n"+ ); When deserializing, add a judgement of whether the value contains more than 2 "\n", if so, extract each value from the string.     Let's say I want to look for <Address> <Street>Windsor</Street> </Address> and I do not want to return <Address> <Number>15</Number> <Street>Windsor</Street> </Address> i.e. I am looking for addresses where the Address node does not contain a number tag. I tried things like <Address>(?!Number)</Address> or <Address>.*?(?!Number).*?</Address> but can't quite figure it out :-( Any ideas? TIA eddiec :-)

  • Powershell or WMI to pull Printer Properties and Additional Drivers?

    What I am trying to accomplish: Use a powershell script (WMI or cmdlets directly, or a combination) to query a 2003 or 2008 server with the PrintServer role, enumerate the printers shared, then list the drivers in use for that printer and specifically if an x86 or x64 driver is being used (or both). I've looked at Win32_Printer, Win32_PrinterDriver, Get-Printer, etc. None of these seem to be able to tell me about x64 drivers or when multiple platform-specific drivers are loaded. Something like: gwmi win32_printer -computername lebowski | %{$name = $_.name $supported = $_.getrelated('Win32_PrinterDriver') | select supportedplatform, driverpath, version Write-Host $name return $supported } Produces the following: PCLOADLETTER supportedplatform : Windows NT x86 driverpath : C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\DRIVERS\W32X86\3\RIC54Dc.DLL version : 3 However the problem being that particular printer also has x64 drivers loaded. I really don't want to manually check the properties tab of 100 printers just to see if they have the x64 driver loaded.

  • Puppet - Is it possible to use a global var to pull in a template with the same name?

    I'm new to puppet. As such I am trying to work my way around the best way to setup my manifests that make sense. Following the DRY (don't repeat yourself) principle, I am trying to load common directives in one template, then load in environment specific directives from a file matching the environment. Basically like this: # nodes.pp node base_dev { $service_env = 'dev' } node 'service1.ownij.lan' inherits base_dev { include global_env_specific } class global_env_specific { include shell::bash } # modules/shell/bash.pp class shell::bash inherits shell { notify{"Service env: ${service_env}": } file { '/etc/profile.d/custom_test.sh': content => template('_global/prefix.erb', 'shell/bash/global.erb', 'shell/bash/$service_env.erb'), mode => 644 } } But every time I run puppet agent --test puppet complains that it can't find the shell/bash/$service_env.erb file, but I double checked that it exists. I know the var is accessible due to the notify statement outputting the expected value, so I suspect I am doing which is not allowed. I know I could have a single template.erb and pass variables to the template, which would work in this case because the custom.sh file is small and not many changes across environments, but for more complex configs (httpd, solr, etc) I'd prefer to access environment specific files. I am also aware that I can specify environment specific module paths, but I'd prefer to just handle this behavior at the template level, instead of having several, closely named directories. Thanks.

    I would like to be able to set up offlineimap to do the following Sync Remote/INBOX - Local Sync Local/Maildirs/* - Remote Possible? The use case here is: I download all new mail from my remote IMAP INBOX folder with offlineimap. offlineimap's posthook command calls a custom python script which does junk filtering, then sorts and categorizes my mail in the local INBOX folder to various local maildirs based on sender, etc. I read my mail with mutt and perhaps do some more categorization. ? Step 4 is what I'm after. I want offlineimap to push my local changes (categorization, filtering, deletion in the case of spam) back to the various folders on the imap server, but as you can see, there's no need for me to be pulling any changes from folders other than Remote/INBOX, as no changes happen on the IMAP server itself. I hope that's a clear explanation of the problem.

    Hi, We switch from a linux CPanel server to another CPanel server, all the setting and file is restore back to the new Linux CPanel server. E.g [email protected] , inside the server I got 100mails. It had been downloaded to my Outlook, my outlook also got 100 mails inside. After I switch to new server, the 100 mail in the old server had been transfer to new server. However, when I open my Outlook, it start to download the 100 mails again, that means I got 200 mails in my mailbox and it is duplicated. How can I stop Outlook to download. The time stamp, receiver and sender is exactly the same. We want to keep a backup in the server, because we don't have a physical server to keep the mail. That why we would like to transfer the mailbox to the new server. Anyone have solution to stop Outlook download again?

Some security specialists advise not to enter remediation immediately and to keep the server online until forensics are completed. Those advises are usually for APT. It's different if you have occasional Script kiddie breaches. However, you may decide to remediate (fix things) early and one of the steps in remediation is containment of the server. Quoting from Robert Moir's Answer - "disconnect the victim from its muggers". A server can be contained by pulling the network cable or the power cable. Which method is better? Taking into consideration the need for: Protecting victims from further damage Executing successful forensics (Possibly) Protecting valuable data on the server Edit: 5 assumptions Assuming: You detected early: 24 hours. You want to recover early: 3 days of 1 systems admin on the job (forensics and recovery). The server is not a Virtual Machine or a Container able to take a snapshot capturing the contents of the servers memory. You decide not to attempt prosecuting. You suspect that the attacker may be using some form of software (possibly sophisticated) and this software is still running on the server.

  • How do I pull a backup from a Linux server to my Windows PC using rsync?

    I'm currently using sftp to download nightly backups (.tar.gz) from my web host to my desktop computer. I think I'd like to switch to rsync to minimize the bandwidth (and time). I have cygwin installed on my PC, but don't use it for much. I have shell access to my web host via ssh (PuTTY). Let's say my source directory is myserver.com:/home/username/backups/, I want to grab all of the .tar.gz files from there, and I want to save them to C:\Backups\ locally.
