I also have this big image and when you click on one of the thumbnails, the image is replaced by the thumbnail and thats really the thumbnail I want to exclude...Could I possible just say if one of the 3 images src = this one image = src remove the class from this thumbnail? Which way would be better? I am very new at jquery :( I hope this makes sense. • swf doesn't respond on tomcat

  Hi, I made a war file out of my flex program (includes swf html etc.). I put the war in the tomcat root library (tomcat 6.0.26) I can see that the war was deployed, and i can get to it using http://localhost:8080/dir/myApp.html and see my swf. When i click directly on myApp.html i can see my swf main picture and its buttons in it. But, when i click a button which just popup a message, it doesn't work! On the other hand, When running the mainApp.html from my local drive it works fine. any help?

  I'm curious if there is an efficient way to wait for the front page of a site to load, and then pre-load CSS and script files that I know will likely be needed for the other pages on the site. I want the front page of the site to be as fast as possible (lean and mean). It's likely that the user will not immediately click on a link. Since there will likely be some idle time, this seems like an opportune time to pre-load some of the external assets. Pre-loading should cause them to become cached. When the user does click on another page, the only request needed will be for the content and possibly some images, etc. Has anyone done this? Is it a bad idea? Is there an elegant way to implement it?

• How can I get a nstableview to send an action when the user double-clicks an editable cell

  I am trying to emulate the behavior found in finder and itunes. Single click on a selected object edits it. Double click opens the object. I have set the doubleAction of the tableView but like it says in the documentation. "If the double-clicked cell is editable, this message isn’t sent and the cell is edited instead." I dont want this. Is there a way i can get that message sent even if the cell is editable? I really have no idea how to begin implementing this. Any general pointers would be appreciated.

• Displaying conditional amount of fields in UI (Android)

  I am using layout xml documents for my ui controls. I need to create and remove these controls (input fields) on the fly, based on how many results I get back from my database. For each group, there can be 0..* fields and these are prepopulated from the database. Also, it would be good if I can invoke a method to create an additional field; something like the address book, where you can click + or - to add or remove a phone or other detail. In a "psuedo" style, I'm guessing something like this: Check database - How many of X are there [y]? Create Y fields. The user may then add new fields, so once I click submit i need to apply all of that to database. Any examples or hints greatly welcomed. Hope this make sense! :)

  I have a div ("panel" class) on my page that toggles open/closed on the click of a paragraph element ("flip" class), which has an image inside of it. Here's the HTML: <div class="panel">Contact info</div> <p class="flip"><img src="images/contactExpand.png" />Expand</p> And the jQuery: $(".flip").click(function(){ $(".panel").slideToggle("slow"); }); Everything works fine so far, but I want the image src to change to "contactCollapse.png" when the panel div is visible. This doesn't seem to do anything (image just stays the same): if ($(".panel").is(":visible") == true) { $(".flip img").attr("src","../images/contactCollapse.png") } else { $(".flip img").attr("src","../images/contactExpand.png") } Am I missing something? I don't think to split Visitors to two tables like Impressions and Click is a good idea because again i would need to have Visitors with two more tables thanks

  I'm trying to implement a pop-up menu based on a click-and-hold, positioned so that a (really) slow click will still trigger the default action, and with the delay set so that a text-selection gesture won't usually trigger the menu. What I can't seem to do is cancel the text-selection in a way that doesn't prevent text-selection in the first place: returning false from the event handler (or calling $(this).preventDefault()) prevents the user from selecting at all, and the obvious $().trigger('mouseup') doesn't doesn't do anything with the selection at all. This is in the general context of a page, not particular to a textarea or other text field. e.stopPropogation() doesn't cancel text-selection. I'm not looking to prevent text selections, but rather to veto them after some short period of time, if certain conditions are met.

  Hi I don't use php or mysql but I am trying to upgrade a phpbb board I got but the one click installer forgot to install some stuff in the database so I can't upgrade to the newest version till I add the missing stuff. So I need to do a remote connect to mysql database but I am not sure how to do this or what software I need(free, and very easy to setup I don't want to spend much time on this). I don't really want to use phpmyadmin since I don't want to start setting up a virtual directory and whatever else it needs to be installed.   I am currently writing an interal advertising system for a company client's website, where the adverts will only be seen by internal users, and all transactions take place internally to the site (i.e. the adverts are for member-only content available on the site). Does anyone have any recommendations as to the best way to track the conversion rate of these adverts (i.e. views:clicks:sales)? EDIT I'm not looking for a 'Why don't you use google analystics'-type answer, I'm looking into possible architecture outlines, i.e. a 'why don't use store a guid in a cache temporarily and see if it ties to the advert' kind of answer. /EDIT In a previous job I did something based on an internal cache, which simply did view:click tracking, however the addition of the sales rate makes this task more complex, especially if we take into account the idea that someone may click through to an advert and not purchase immediately.
