    How can disable keep-alive when using NSURLConnection? Seems, that after cancelling and close it it still saves somewhere a socket that I was connected to server with and while the server fetches for information i cannot access another urls from the same server.     Default ASP.NET MVC project has one MapRoute like routes.MapRoute( "Default", "{controller}/", new { controller = "Home", action = "Index" } ); And urls like these are equivalent: www.mysite.com, w*ww.mysite.com/home*, www.mysite.com/home/index But if I trying to use a MapRoute like routes.MapRoute( "Sitemap", "{contoller}/{action}", new { controller = "Sitemap", action = "ShortMap" } ); and test url www.mysite.com/sitemap I recieve error 404 but I'm expecting that it's work like www.mysite.com/sitemap/shortmap How to write this MapRoute correctly?

    Hello, another issue where I seem to have found an solution for ObjC but not MonoTouch. I want a NSUrl from an URL (as string). The string may contain whitespace and backslashes. Why is NSUrl returning null for such string, even though these are valid urls in a browser? For example: NSUrl foo = NSUrl.FromString(@"http://google.com/search?\query"); foo == null Any suggestions?

  • Is there any WinSCP equivalent for linux?

    I love WinSCP for Windows. What are the best equivalent softwares for linux? I tried to use sshfs to mount the remote file system on my local machine, but it is not as user friendly as simply launching a GUI, plus it seems to require root access on the client machine, which is not very convenient. Of course command line tools such as scp are possible, but I am looking for a simple GUI. Thanks!

    So I'm using RegexKitLite in my iPhone app, and I'm basically grabbing out a bunch of URLs and names from within a web page. The problem is that whenever it comes across a URL with URL encoded characters like %22 for a double quote or %27 for a single quote, the captured string basically gives me a jumbled overflowed string, containing garbage and even method names. I'm really not doing anything particularly special within the regex, just your basic "startdelimiter(.*)enddelimiter" regex.

I would like to click on a link for the location that is not dynamically generated (for SEO purposes) that would open the info window for the respective marker on the map. Behavior should mimic http://maptheburg.com/ - but this map has the sidebar links dynamically generated. Yelp.com is the only site I have seen so far that manages to implement the Google Maps API with unobtrusive JavaScript.

The data returned is ATOM FEED which is kind a hard to read / interpret with its format, too much information is returned people from various departments would execute different queries ( HTTP Request) and i wanted them to display simple XML or atleast something more user friendly like HTML I have tried ACCEPT attribute of the request to be plain XML and it still returns ATOM Thanks -- Khalil
