I have a Javascript Object like
var obj = {

How can I get the length and list of keys in this object.
Does Doctrine 1.2 support importing indexes with Doctrine_Core::generateModelsFromDb() function?
I need to make a migration between 2 database connections, one of them having unique index on 2 fields and one doesn't. And my migration is empty. It looks like Doctrine doesn't support indexes when importing from databae, other than those tied to relationship foreign keys.
$changes = Doctrine_Core::generateMigrationsFromDiff($migrationsPath,
array('doctrineOld'),
array('doctrine'));
i want to delete a row and cascade all foreign keys in hibernate
i am new to hibernate
and i want to know
if there's a method to delete an entity session.delete();
like the session.save and session.update methods in hibernate?
I have problem with getting the content. I don't know the names of the post variables so I can't do this using
= $_Post['name']
because I don't know the "name". I want to catch all of the variables send by POST method.
How can I get keys of the $_Post[] array and the values related with them?
I have a dictionary in C# like
Dictionary<Person, int>
and I want to sort that dictionary in place with respect to keys (a field in class Person). How can I do it? Every available help on the internet is that of lists with no particular example of in place sorting of Dictionary. Any help would be highly appreciated!
The B-tree is of order 4, meaning that it can hold 4 pointers, and 3 keys.
The following is inserted: A G I Y
Since they can't all fit in one node, I know that the node will split. So I know there's going to be a root node with 2 child nodes after these things are inserted, but I don't know exactly what they'll look like.
Hi
What are the possible ways of representing data in memory in .Net (or in general)?
It would be great if data could be sorted and looked up by key (or multiple keys).
We are thinking to use collections, arrays, list of collections/arrays. One object would be in several collections (one sorted asc, other desc, etc.).
Maybe this is not a good idea, and we would like to hear some other possible solutions.
Thank you
Hey, I'm trying to write a program in C# that will track the pressing of certain keys (using a keyboard hook), and send different ones instead.
For instance, when I press the A key it will instead send the Q key.
I used http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cs/CSLLKeyboardHook.aspx this for my hooks and tried to use the SendKeys function, but I get an exception about the garbage collector destroying some object inside the hook class.
I'm quite confused about the basic concepts of a Hash table. If I were to code a hash how would I even begin? What is the difference between a Hash table and just a normal array?
Basically if someone answered this question I think all my questions would be answered:
If I had 100 randomly generated numbers (as keys), how would I implement a hash table and why would that be advantageous over an array?
Psuedo-code or Java would be appreciated as a learning tool...
Sometimes, in Eclipse , i press a combination of keys which take me to the editor page that shows contents of my .class file. I never seem to be able to remember what that key combination is.
Can someone please let me know?
i have designed a gui calc , i have used flat buttons for thenumbers , to get the button click feel i have changed the mouse down color , but when i use the numpad keys to do calc iam able to stimulate the click event but how do i need to stimulate MouseDown event,
I was psyched about the possibility of using SQLite as a database solution during development so that I could focus on writing the code first and dynamically generating the db at runtime using NHibernate's ShemaExport functionality. However, I'm running into a few issues, not the least of which is that it seems that SQLite requires me to use Int64 for my primary keys (vs, say, Int32 or Guid). Is there any way around this?
Im building an app in c# using WPF and i need it to bind to some keys. Ive found some links but not work well with my setup. Anyone done this before?
also if i could bind to the windows key would be great.
I'm creating an iPhone app for a client who's not comfortable with allowing users the ability to press the menu & hold keys to take a screenshot of the app content. Is there any API to block this while the app is running?
I have an NSDictionary object that is populated by NSMutableStrings for its keys and objects. I have been able to change the key by changing the original NSMutableString with the setString: method. They key however remains the same regardless of the contents of the string used to set the key initially.
My question is, is the key protected from being changed meaning it will always be the same unless I remove it and add another to the dictionary?
Thanks.
I need to retrieve all the records in a table with nHibernate. If I had the key for all the records in the table I could loop and use nHibernate's Get method (this seems inefficient though) but I don't have the keys. I could also use FindAll but this requires criteria or a stored procedure.
How can I get all the records from the table?
I'm using jQuery UI's slider to update a div containing a number. Dragging or using the left/right keys should only allow the user to choose a number between 1 and 5 (this works as intended). However, if the handle has focus and I use page up/down, I start to get rounded values that are well out of the range of 1-5. Anybody experience the same? Thoughts?
I am sorting a hash in Perl. I encountered an Out of memory error when running my Perl Script:
foreach $key (sort (keys(%hash))) {
....
}
How do I sort a hash that has tons of data?
I want to do a effect like the switching windows from Win 7 [Win]+[Tab] keys pressed.
I created two "windows" (movie clips) and when I click on the 1st it displays on top of the other, but the problem is when I click on the 2nd I can see the 1st one displayed in it. Is there any way that i put a movie clip on top of the other.
Thanks
For a Console app, I need to know how to wait at set amount of time (about 10 seconds), for a user to input a key or set of keys, before proceeding with an 'auto run' portion of the application.
This is bugging me because I can't quite figure out how the timer works, or threading.sleep, what should I use? Been googling all day.
A class has a constructor which takes one parameter:
class C(object):
def __init__(self, v):
self.v = v
...
Somewhere in the code, it is useful for values in a dict to know their keys.
I want to use a defaultdict with the key passed to newborn default values:
d = defaultdict(lambda : C(here_i_wish_the_key_to_be))
Any suggestions?
I was wondering how Java sorts items in the Map (HashMap or Hashtable) when they are added. Are the keys sorted by the hashcode, memory reference or by allocation precedence...?
It's because I've noticed same pairs in the Map are not always sorted in the same order
How do you switch between header (.h) and implementation files (.cpp) in Eclipse when using the C++/CDT environment with a keyboard shortcut?
In XCode you can quickly switch between headers and implementation with applekey option and up/down arrow keys. I was hoping that eclipse had something similar, but I haven't found it yet.
You are on a submarine and there is an encrypted message that you want to read. Two people must use their keys at the same time in order to obtain the plain text. What is best cryptographic primitive to use? Are the following two implementations suitable?
plain_text=decrypt(Key1 XOR key2,ciper_text,IV)
plain_text=decrypt(Key1,rc4_encrypt(key2,ciper_text,IV2),IV1)
Hi,
what of those two is faster for random insertions and deletions? I guess list, having the values as the keys as it is with sets seems to be attractive too though.
Is performance similar for iterating over the whole container?
Thanks!
