  • double click and select the path(including '/') in Terminal.app

    I'm using Terminal.app on Mac OS10.6.3, with gnu screen and zsh. What I want to do is, see pwd(or an URL) in Terminal.app and double click on it, and select the whole path, to copy and paste after that. But what I get now is a single directory name, because '/' is not treated as a word. I found that iTerm has a setting to change it(iTerm - Preferences - Mouse - Characters considered part of a word), but is there any way to do this on my environment?

    Hi, I use this command to copy all files whose names start with 'file' from a server. scp -vp me@server:/location/files* ./ But i got a 'No Match' error. probably Concerning the '' in the command. How can i protect the '' for ssh to understand that this refers to a list of files and not taking it as a filename. Thx August

    I have just downloaded the fresh copy of phppowerpoint and added the following line of code 'phppowerpoint' = MODPATH.'phppowerpoint', and now my page got blank and I got the following error: The character encoding of the HTML document was not declared. The document will render with garbled text in some browser configurations if the document contains characters from outside the US-ASCII range. The character encoding of the page must to be declared in the document or in the transfer protocol. Any thoughts? Thanks.

    Is there an alternative to the ActiveSync "Explore" for looking at the file system of a Windows Mobile device? (This same thing can also be accessed from My Computer - Mobile Device). It would be nice if you could just navigate into the device and view or edit files without having to copy them back and forth from the PC. Why does it work this way in the first place? Is the Explore view sort of a "virtual" version of your phone's file system that cannot be edited directly?

  • iPhone: no way to draw on screen outside drawRect?

    Is there a way to draw on the iPhone screen (on a UIView in a UIWindow) outside of that view's drawRect() method? If so, how do I obtain the graphics context? The graphics guide mentions class NSGraphicsContext, but the relevant chapter seems like a blind copy/paste from Mac OS X docs, and there's no such class in iPhone SDK.

    I was trying to get fresh copy of my project from github using tortoise svn client. But I am getting following exception. The PROPFIND request returned invalid XML in the response: XML parse error at line 1: no element found (Checkout from https://github.com/anoopchaurasia/JavaScript-File-Manager.git) When I tried to checkout using subeclipse on Eclipse, it saying "Folder does not exist.". I am able to checkout same repository on my other system.

    I've implement my activeX control in Delphi. I've build a c# application to embed it. It runs fine on my computer. After that, I copy and paste all c# solution with the my ocx file to another computer, register by regsrv32.exe succeed, add to COM components on visual studio toolbox, compile and run again. It consistently complains ' System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x8000FFFF): Catastrophic failure (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8000FFFF (E_UNEXPECTED)) What's problem I'm dealing with?     Hi i working a fairly large spreadsheet which is broken down into months. I want to put the yearly subtotals at the begining of the spreadsheet. So in cell A1 i want to add AA2-AL2, B1 i want to add AM2-AX2 and so on so forth. How can i do this whithout manually going to each set of values.
