  • MySQL forgot about automatically creating an index for a foreign key?

    After running the following SQL statements, you will see that, MySQL has automatically created the non-unique index question_tag_tag_id_tag_id on the tag_id column for me after the first ALTER TABLE statement has run. But after the second ALTER TABLE statement has run, I think MySQL should also automatically create another non-unique index question_tag_question_id_question_id on the question_id column for me. But as you can see from the SHOW INDEXES statement output, it's not there. Why does MySQL forget about the second ALTER TABLE statement? By the way, since I have already created a unique index question_id_tag_id_idx used by both question_id and tag_id columns.     I was going to CSV based export/import for large data with app engine. My idea was just simple. First column of CSV would be key of entity. If it's not empty, that row means existing entity and should overwrite old one. Else, that row is new entity and should create new one. I could export key of entity by adding key property. class FrontExporter(bulkloader.Exporter): def __init__(self): bulkloader.Exporter.__init__(self, 'Front', [ ('__key__', str, None), ('name', str, None), ]) But when I was trying to upload CSV, it had failed because bulkloader.Loader.generate_key() was just for "key_name" not "key" itself.     Hi i couldn't find a single query that would give me in API 2.0 of the contacts API the URI of the contact's image and the display name. For now as far as i know i can create a uri by having the contact's _ID , but i didn't see any row name that i can use in the projection of Data or Contact to get all that i need. can anyone help ? (i refer to using API 2 of the contacts API on android SDK V5 and above ) 10x.

  • Visual marker when moving rows on DataGridView

    Users drag rows up and down in my DataGridView. I have the dragging logic down-pat, but I'd like there to be a dark marker indicating where the row will be placed after I let go of the mouse. (I've seen this in 1000 places before, but can't seem to find an example right now) Does anyone know how I'd go about doing this? Is this built-in, or would I have to draw my own marker (if so, how do I do that)? Thanks!

Now I am aware of the functions that extract PNG or JPEG data from the image, but that's raw data and I have no idea how the png/jpeg files work.   • Is it possible to plot a single density over a discrete variable?

    The x-axis is time broken up into time intervals. There is an interval column in the data frame that specifies the time for each row. Plotting a histogram or line using geom_histogram and geom_freqpoly works great, but I'd like to use geom_density to get a filled area. Perhaps there is a better way to achieve this. Right now, if I use geom_density, curves are created for each discrete factor level instead of smoothing over all of them.

I'd like to change the background color of the selected record only so the end-user can easily tell which record they are on.
