• Displaying User Relationships Module Blocks

  I'm unable to display any of the User Relationships' auto-created blocks in any of my sidebars. I have tried enabling all modules and permissions I can think of, with no success. The block I'm most interested in is the block that would allow users to be invited to an existing relationship (e.g. Friend), but as I say this nor any of the other blocks display. Other Drupal blocks and custom blocks display just fine. The blocks do show up in the blocks listing, and I've tried different ways of configuring them. Any help, or even confirmation that someone has been able to do this with the latest stable versions of Drupal and the User Relationships module, would be appreciated. Thank you.

• Find&Replace using Python - Binary file

  Hello, I'm attempting to do a "find and replace" in a file on a Mac OS X computer. Although it appears to work correctly. It seems that the file is somehow altered. The text editor that I use (Text Wrangler) is unable to even open the file once this is completed. Here is the code as I have it: import fileinput for line in fileinput.FileInput("testfile.txt",inplace=1): line = line.replace("newhost",host) print line, When I view the file from the terminal, it does say "testfile" may be a binary file. See it anyway? Is there a chance that this replace is corrupting the file? Do I have another option for this to work? I really appreciate the help.   Hi, I have a python app engine code (matured backend) - and we are now planning to have a front end for that code. I was wondering whether it is possible to implement GWT as the front end. Even though Alex Martelli in this post [1] mentions it is not possible, a comment to that post suggests that it is indeed possible using rpc over json for GWT. I was unable to understand how this is possible. In app.yaml file, we have to specify the language to be python, right? In that case, how can it compile GWT based on JAVA? Are there any examples on anyone doing that? Can someone help me out? It would be extremely helpful.   I get "E2511 Type parameter 'T' must be a class type" on the third class. type TSomeClass=class end; ParentParentClass<T>=class end; ParentClass<T: class> = class(ParentParentClass<T>) end; ChildClass<T: TSomeClass> = class(ParentClass<T>) end; I'm trying to write a lite Generic Array wrapper for any data type(ParentParentClass) ,but because I'm unable to free type idenitifiers( if T is TObject then Tobject(T).Free) , I created the second class, which is useful for class types, so I can free the objects. The third class is where I use my wrapper, but the compiler throws that error. How do I make it compile?

• jquery $(window).width() and $(window).height() return different values when viewport has not been r

  I am writing a site using jquery that repeatedly repeatedly calls $(window).width() and $(window).height() to position and size elements based on the viewport size... In troubleshooting I discovered that I am getting slightly different viewport size reports in repeated calls to the above jquery functions when the viewport is not resized... Wondering if there is any special case anyone knows of when this happens, or if this is just the way it is. The difference in sizes reported are 20px or less, it appears. It happens in Safari 4.0.4, Firefox 3.6.2 and Chrome 5.0.342.7 beta on Mac OS X 10.6.2... I didn't test other browsers yet because it doesn't appear to be specific to the browser. I was also unable to figure out what the difference depends upon - if it isn't the viewport size, could there be another factor that makes the results differ? Any insight would be appreciated... • How can I change the filename of a shared library after building a program that depends on it?

  I have a program that depends on a shared library it expects to find deep inside a directory structure. I'd like to move that shared library out and into a better place. On OS X, this can be done with install_name_tool. I'm unable to find an equivalent for Linux. For reference, readelf -d myprogram spits out the following paraphrased output: Dynamic section at offset 0x1e9ed4 contains 30 entries: Tag Type Name/Value 0x00000001 (NEEDED) Shared library: [this/is/terrible/library.so] 0x00000001 (NEEDED) Shared library: [libGL.so.1] 0x00000001 (NEEDED) Shared library: [libGLU.so.1] 0x00000001 (NEEDED) Shared library: [libstdc++.so.6] and I would like to errata "this/is/terrible/library.so" to be "shared/library.so". • Cannot resolve view when view is in subdirectory

  We have a MVC 2.0 / c# 4.0 application that we develop visual studio. We have a part of the site (admin) that we have put in it's own sub directory and with its own routing rules: routes.Add("DomainRoute", new DomainRoute( ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["adminDomain"], // Domain with parameters "{controller}/{action}/{id}", // URL with parameters new { controller = "AdminPage", action = "Admin", id = "", isAdmin = true } We have all the views for the admin site inside an admin sub folder so that you get paths like: \views\admin\auth\login.aspx In the \controllers\admin\authController.aspx file I have a function called login: public ActionResult Login() { return View(); } This works just as it should, ie if i go admin.localhost\auth\login I go to the login page. But if I do a right click in visual studio and "go to view" i get an error "unable to go to matching view". Is there anyway to solve this?

  hi, i have an webserivce written where i do an insertion opertion to DB. path :http://localhost:1838/Ajax/WebService.asmx?wsdl.name of the webservice is localhost i have added webservice for the project now on button click event i try to call this webserice like this localhost obj= new localhost(); obj.insert(); now i am able to do the insertion operation fine. but i wanted to create an proxy for the webservice so wat is the use of it doing like tat? when i run this command in my command prompt in vs wsdl /out:myProxyClass.cs http://localhost:1838/Ajax/WebService.asmx?WSDL i get an error unable to connect the remote server. no connection would be made because the target machine actively refused it looking forward for an solution any help would great thank you

• jquery iterating through newly created elements

  Hi All, I am trying to add new rows in my table, and save them into DB. First, I use .append() to append rows on the table: $("#tablename").append("<tr id='newRow'><td>newly added row</td></tr>"); The appending function works fine. My page displays the correct result. However, I am unable to select them with $("#newRow").each(function () { alert "it never reaches here!"; }); I am guessing it is because the elements are added after the DOM is loaded. Can anyone please tell me how I can iterate through all my newly added elements? Thank you.

  I was unable to activate Safari Reader in a local HTML file, so I cannot give you a running example but only describe my problem: The markup of my blog posts is basically this: <div class="post"> <div class="post-header">Hello, World</div> <div class="post-body"> <p>Look at this picture:</p> <p><img src="http://37prime.com/news/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/safari_icon.png"/></p> <p>Isn't that a nice picture?</p> </div> </div> This looks as expected in all browsers, including Safari. In Safari Reader however, the third paragraph "Isn't that a nice picture?" is floating around the image, instead of being on a paragraph of it's own. Has anybody experienced a similar problem?

  I've set up IIS6 with FastCGI to use php-cgi.exe. I have some php websites by external parties, that I'm trying to run in a test environment. One of the websites just plain gives me a FastCGI Error Page. Is there some way to enable logging somewhere so that I can get a bit more information on this problem? I have looked in - Eventlog - IIS Website log (c:\windows\system32\Logfiles) - PHP log But no results, except the IIS Website log mentions a return of a 500 page. Is there any other way to debug/check where things might be going wrong? Here is what the page looks like: FastCGI Error The FastCGI Handler was unable to process the request. • How to load images and fragments dynamically in LiveCycle Designer forms?

  Hi there. I've created a couple of shared templates (.xdp) which will be shared among several clients. Obviously, each client has their own logo and I'd like to set the logo upon form generation. I've managed to change the logo dynamically although I'm not sure if my approach is good. In the xml datasource I've got this element: <ClientID>SomeNumber</ClientId> In the form itself I set the image href with this javascript code: SomeHiddenTextField::calculate HeaderLogo.value.image.href = $record.ClientID + "_logo.jpg"; I've got the logos stored on the server in the same folder as the shared templates. Is this an alright approach to load logos dynamically? I've been trying to achieve the same dynamic behaviour with each client's footer fragment, but I have been unable to figure out how to load these on demand. I could make each footer fragment in to an image but I'd like to avoid it if possible.

• What could cause ASP.NET's executionTimeout to not be enforced running under IIS?

  I'm trying to troubleshoot a problem, but I'm unable to reproduce it locally under IIS because no matter how low I set executionTimeout, the requests never time out. I've tried setting this via the web.config (, via code (Page.Server.ScriptTimeout = 5;). I'm running with binaries that were compiled in release mode, and debug=false is set in the compilation element. FWIW, under Cassini (the standalone development webserver), everything works as expected, running out of the same directory off of the exact same assemblies/config files. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

• Add version control to existing SQL Server database

  I am part of a development team currently working with a database that does not have any kind of source control. We work with SQL Server 2008 R2 and have always managed the DB directly with SSMS. It now has ~340 tables and ~1600 stored procedures, plus a few triggers and views, so it is not a small DB. My goal is to have the DB under version control, so I have been reading articles, like Scott Allen's series (http://bitly.com/9cJmGR) and many old SO related questions. But I am still unable to decide on how to proceed. What I'm thinking of is to script the database schema in one file, then procedures, triggers and views in one file each. Then keep everything versioned under Mercurial. But of course, every member of the team can access SSMS and directly change the schema and procedures, with the possibility that any of us can forget to replicate those changes in the versioned files. What better options are there? And, did I forget any element worth having source control of?

• Jquery .Ajax error when trying to POST data in ASP.NET MVC

  I am unable to access an action in my controller using .ajax. The code works on my development machine but as soon as I place it on the server it gives the error 401 Unauthorized.
