  I have a Django app that requires a settings attribute in the form of: RELATED_MODELS = ('appname1.modelname1.attribute1', 'appname1.modelname2.attribute2', 'appname2.modelname3.attribute3', ...) Then hooks their post_save signal to update some other fixed model depending on the attributeN defined. I would like to test this behaviour and tests should work even if this app is the only one in the project (except for its own dependencies, no other wrapper app need to be installed). How can I create and attach/register/activate mock models just for the test database? (or is it possible at all?) Solutions that allow me to use test fixtures would be great.

• Floor function returning EXC_BAD_ACCESS

  The cod that I am using contains these snippets of code. I am calling ThetaG_JD with the argument 2455343.50000 which is just a sample Julian date. Every time I run the program, I receive a EXC_BAD_ACCESS on the indicated line.   Hello I'm trying to create a div with contenteditable like the Facebook status update. Then I mean I want to show an autocomplete box when the user have written @. How would you do that. Currently I'm just playing with keypress and check if the keycode = 64. Somehow that works, but it doesn't validate if there's a space before the alfa, or if the user has unfocused the box, then focused it again. Any ideas? Or do you know about any plugin that works something like that? Tnx

  Hi Guys, Ok I have a data table containing duplicate Reciept numbers and a transaction value for each record, I need to simply list the total for each unique Reciept number, this is obviously a simple problem but I am missing something.   Hi, It seems that there is a really annoying issue in Class Diagram designer in VS (my version is 2010 Ultimate, but the issue is also observed in VS 2008). When I'm trying to create a class diagram for particular simple class from DLL I'm getting the following error: "Some of the selected type(s) cannot be added to the class diagram. Check the code for errors and ensure that all required assemblies ... blah-blah-blah" My code doesn't contain any error. I have multiple class and interface definitions in one separate .cs file, but these classes are really simple - even no calls to unmanaged/interop. Any solution for this?

  I have created a feature, a publishing site, in Visual Studio to MOSS - this feature contains a masterpage, some page-templates, some site columns (grouped to match each page-template) and som custom list templates etc. I have also created a site collection, some sites and pages based on my feature. Now I have upgraded the code in my feature - I wanted a ListInstance to be created based on my custom list template. When I have upgraded my SharePoint (using WSPBuilder), the ListInstance and default data are visible if I create a new site collection, but existing site collection does not get the ListInstance and data. Is there anything I can do to update existing site collections to contain the ListInstance when upgrading?

  I would like to create a program that makes mp3s of the first 30 seconds of an aiff or wav file. I would also like to be able to choose location and length, such as the audio between 2:12 and 2:42. Are there any tools that lets me do this? Shelling out is OK. The application will run on a linux server, so it would have to be a tool that works on linux. I don't mind doing it in two steps - i.e. a tool that first creates the cutout of the aiff/wav, then pass it to a mp3 encoder.

  If you look at the NerdDinner example of creating and editing dinners then you see they use a partial (ViewUserControl or ASCX) DinnerForm to put the functionality of creating and editing dinners into one file because it is essential the same and they use it using RenderPartial("DinnerForm"). This approach seems fine for me but I've run into a problem where you have to add additonal route values or html properties to the Form tag. This picks up the current action and controller automatically: <% using (Html.BeginForm()) { %> However, if I use another BeginForm() overload which allows to pass in enctype or any other attribute I have to do it like this: <% using ("Create", "Section", new { modal = true }, FormMethod.Post, new { enctype = "multipart/form-data" })) and as you can see we lose the ability to automatically detect in which View we are calling RenderPartial("OurCreateEditFormPartial"). We can't have hardcoded values in there because in Edit View this postback will fail or won't postback to the right controller action. What should I do in this case?

  My implementation (in C) isn't working... the first node is always NULL so I can't free the memory.   Driving me mad on a personal project; I know I've done this before but elsewhere and don't have the code. As far as I can see, I'm setting the parameter, I'm setting its value, the connection is open, yet when I try to fill the dataset I get the error 'Procedure or function expects parameter "@test" which was not supplied'. (This is obviously a simplified test! Same error on this or the real, rather longer code though.) That's occurs only on setMainwindow method. So the questions is - why Core class method setMainwindow() is invisible in MainWindow class?

  I have sorted list of strings that I move between php and java. to be able to bsearch on this data, I need the same comparison function. any idea what string compare functions I can use that will always give the same result in both? eg php's strcmp() vs java's String.compareTo() yes I know I could make my own string compare that does char by char carefully, but I was hoping there's a simple answer. PS, don't care if case sensitive or not, as long as it is consistant.

  Following the feedback i got from: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2683682/new-to-linux-kernel-driver-development/2683819 I have written a driver (.c file) by comparing it with an existing driver and "borrowing" heavily from its code. The driver is registered fine and init() and probe() are working fine. I am also able to access the peripheral device registers. :-) However i am a bit hazy about the IRQ/ISR. The peripheral-device is a input device and raises an interrupt on a GPIO pin. How do i move ahead from my current state ( init(), probe(), etc. ) to be able to handle the IRQ and execute my ISR function?? Many-Thanks in Advance

  Hi, This seems like something which must have been answered before, but I can't find anything appropriate in the question archives. Basically, I'm looking for a little Domain Specific Language to create flowcharts. I'm terrible at graphic design and making things look nice, and I'd really like a langauge where I could write something in code and it would produce a pretty flowchart. I've come across GraphViz, but it seems more suited to creating things like Finite State Machine diagrams, rather than process flowcharts. It also doesn't have the simple DSL-style front-end that would allow me to easily work it. Any ideas? I'm sure this must have been done before... Robin

I need to add few new fields and have a customized form. From search I got information about Work Item Type definition but I am looking for some detailed example. Also I would like to know the permissions needed to add a new work item type. I got administrator privileges for my project, but not on TFS as a whole.   One thing that has bothered me about C# since its release was the lack of a generic IsNumeric function. I know it is difficult to generate a one-stop solution to detrmine if a value is numeric. I have used the following solution in the past, but it is not the best practice because I am generating an exception to determine if the value is IsNumeric: public bool IsNumeric(string input) { try { int.Parse(input); return true; } catch { return false; } } Is this still the best way to approach this problem or is there a more efficient way to determine if a value is numeric in C#?
