    I currently have a website that allows my visitors to login via a simple script i've pasted together and wrote. Currently I only use sessions to keep visitors logged in. Are there any advantages to adding cookies to my website to store user logged in status? Or is there a better way altogether?

(I can only create New Website) My colleague has the exact same version (if you go to Help - About) but they can create both New Website and New Project. I am trying to do this tutorial on MVC that also says that you can do it on Web Developer Express (http://www.asp.net/learn/mvc/tutorial-21-cs.aspx) How do you enable New Project on Visual Web Developer 2008 Express?

They should obviously point to the same controller actions, but I want the first routevalues to -always- be the location/language specification.     I can only find mod rewrite examples/tutorials for query's, so can someone help me with this. I would like this http://website.tld/Folder1/Folder2/Folder3/Folder4/Folder5/File.exten to be transformed into http://website.tld/Folder4/File.exten Folder4 and Folder5 are multiple directories, while Folder 1-3 stay the same. Also File.exten also should be changeable in the rewrite. thanks.
