    I've set up keys with the following: opendkim-genkey -t -s mail -d test.com The private key (pertinent to this question) contains: -----BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY----- (some stuff here) -----END RSA PRIVATE KEY----- My opendkim.conf contains: Domain test.com KeyFile /etc/opendkim/dkim.private Selector mail I am then testing with: opendkim-testkey -d test.com -s mail -k /etc/mail/dkim.public Yet receive the following error: opendkim-testkey: PEM_read_bio_PrivateKey() failed error:0906D06C:PEM routines:PEM_read_bio:no start line The files exist and have opendkim as the user and group, and adequate permissions. Has anyone any advice?

    I have recently installed Windows XP Pro SP2. Whenevr I try to run any .exe file I get the following error: Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item. I read some where that if we right click on the file and in Properties-Security click the unblock option, this problem is solved but this is not working for me as I dont get Security tab in Properties.Please help!! Due to this I am not able to install any software in my computer

    I am using SQL Server 2000 on Windows Server 2003 SP2 and have set up a linked server to point at an Access 97 database using the OLE DB Provider 4.0 for Microsoft Jet. The problem I am having sounds almost exactly like the one described in this Microsoft KB article, except that the error I am getting is intermittent: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/814398 The SQL Server is running under the Local System account (which I don't have authority to change), and the Access 97 .mdb file that the linked server points to is on a Win XP Pro machine on the same LAN as the SQL Server machine, inside of a shared folder with permissions set to "Everyone" and "Full Control". Now, if the linked server connection never worked, it would make more sense that the problem is merely a permissions issue with the Local System account as the KB article above suggests, but the maddening thing is that sometimes the connection works just fine. When it fails, the error message is always the same: Error 7399: OLE DB provider 'Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0' reported an error. [OLE/DB provider returned message: Unspecified error] OLE DB error trace [OLE/DB Provider 'Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0' IDBInitialize::Initialize returned 0x80004005: ]. Also, not only does the linked server setup occasionally work just fine on this one particular SQL Server, what is supposed to be exactly the same setup on 25 other servers works just fine EVERY TIME! Obviously, something in the non-working setup must not be exactly the same, but I'm having trouble figuring out where to look for the differences since the error message SQL Server returns is so vague. I know our sysadmins have had numerous issues with Active Directory replication across our domain, so my best guess is that there is some sort of odd group policy corruption going on, but I thought I'd ask here to see if I might be overlooking something more straightforward. Any ideas on how to further isolate the error would be greatly appreciated! For the record, here is a list of things I've already tried: Rebooting the SQL Server machine. Fixes the issue temporarily, then the error returns within a minute or two of startup. (This is why I suspect a rogue group policy that is slow to apply fouling things up.) Importing all database objects from the Access 97 mdb into a new, clean mdb file. Makes no difference. Moving the Access 97 mdb file to a local directory on the SQL Server machine instead of accessing it via a share on the Win XP Pro LAN machine. This works, but does not solve the problem because the mdb needs to be on the client machine for performance reasons and the ability to work "stand alone". Plus, the same shared folder access works fine on all other servers / clients on my network. Compared all the SQL Server, Windows Server, etc versions to a known working setup and everything appears to be the same.

  • svn 503 error when commit new files

    I am struggling with a strange error when I try to commit my repository. I have a V-server with webmin installed on it. Via Webmin I installed an svn module, created repositories and everything worked fine until three days ago. Trying to commit brings the following error: Commit failed (details follow): Server sent unexpected return value (503 Service unavailable) in response to PROPFIND request for '/svn/rle/!svn/wrk/a1f963a7-0a33-fa48-bfde-183ea06ab958/RLE/.htaccess' Server sent unexpected return value (503 Service unavailable) in response to PROPFIND request for '/svn/rle/RLE/.htaccess' I google everywhere and found only very few solutions. One indicated that a wrong error document is set, another one dealt about the problem that filenames might cause this error and last but not least a wrong proxy configuration in the local svn config could be the reason. After trying all of the solutions suggested I could not reach anything. Only after a server reboot there was a little difference in the error-message, telling me that the server was not able to move a temp file, because the operation was permitted. So I also controlled the permissions of the svn directory, but also with no success. An svn update than restored the "normal" error from above and nothing changed since then. The only change I made on the server, I guess that this could be the reason why svn does not work anymore, was to install the php5_mysql module for apache via apt-get install php5_mysql. Atg the moment I have totally no idea where I could search. I don't know if the problem is on my server or in my repository and I would be glad to get any hint to solve this.     Hi, I need to copy a /home/user folder from one hardisk to another one. It has 100000 files and around 10G size. I use cp -r /origin /destination sometines I get some errors due to broken links, permissions and so on. So I fix the error, and need to start again the copy. I wonder how could I tell the command "cp", once it tries to copy again, not to copy files again if they exist in the destination folder. Thanks

Putting them in "Power Users" group does not seem to work. What permissions should we grant to our developers to allow them to manage IIS (e.g. add websites, modify app pools, etc.) without giving them full admin rights to the server?

Then I need another that will add the Default gateway, so Windows and software updates can be run. Before the system reboot it worked just fine. All the links lead me to this bug, but nothing works. SSH Agent is still not running. How to fix that? Maybe the files need specific permissions?

  • Project Professional 2010 can't publish existing project file

    I have an existing project file (created in project 2007 professional), opened by me in project professional 2010, and saved. I open this newly saved file, and connect to Project Server (2010) using my credentials (I'm admin), now when I try and publish this existing project, I can't because the button is grayed out. If I start from a blank file, I can publish without any issues (so its not permissions). I suspect something is wrong with the template for this project, but I have no idea what, any idea what to check for?

  • Using WSUS Admin Console from outside domain

    Environment: I have a workstation on our primary domain. We have a primary WSUS Server that is the upstream server of 8 different testing domains. The Primary WSUS server is not part of any domain. Routing is configured between my workstation and the Primary WSUS server. I can RDP to the Primary WSUS sever without any problem. The router is configured to forward any any between my workstation and the Primary WSUS server. This WSUS server cannot be part of a domain due to external requirements (I can't change them) on the lab I work in. The version of WSUS is WSUS 3.0 SP 2 What I want to do: I need to connect to the WSUS server with the WSUS Admin console from my local workstation. The end goal is to connect via Powershell and manage with that. I also need to take what I do here and port it to the 8 test domains so I can manage those WSUS servers. The routing is all in place so I can talk to the servers, it's just connecting to the WSUS console that is causing problems. The problem: I cannot get my workstation to connect to the WSUS Console. I get one of the following errors depending on the setup. 1st error: Cannot connect to 'WSUS'. You do not have the permissions required to access this WSUS server. To connect to the server you must be a member of the WSUS Administrators or WSUS Reporters security groups I also get the warning 7012 from the event log that says the same thing. 2nd error: Cannot connect to 'WSUS'. The server may be using another port or different Secure Sockets Layer setting. What I have tried: So far I have configured IIS for Anonymous Authentication on both the WSUS Administration and ApiRemoting30 using an account will call WSUS_User. With this in place, I get the 1st error. When I do this though, the local WSUS Console cannot be used either. Reverting back to only Windows Authentication allows the local console to work, but the remote console now give the 2nd error. I have confirmed the port, and that there is no SSL in use (which is a policy that is pushed from above, that I cannot effect). I have placed WSUS_User in the groups mentioned above, but it still does not connect. I made sure WSUS_User has full access on C:\Program Files\Update Services and C:\Program Files\Update Services\WebServices I am not very familiar with the workings of WSUS or IIS, and have gone as far as I can figure out on my own. Googling these errors all take me to the same steps about Anonymous Authentication and configuring permissions on folders. Note: I have cross-posted this to StackOverflow as well.

    Hi all, I'm running OpenSuse 11.2 and Wine 1.1.28. Even if audio is perfectly working fine for me (Skype, Banshee, etc), when I try to configure audio for Wine (to use Spotify) I cannot hear anything from the audio test. In the winecfg audio tab, ALSA is checked, but no devices are available. I tried to run alsaconf (it needs root permissions) but it returns: No supported PnP or PCI card found No legacy drivers available, either. Any idea?

    Our office XP computer crashed this afternoon. I know that we had Norton Ghost doing regular backups on an external hard drive. My question is how do you restore from that backup? PS. When I plug in the external drive into my own Windows 7 machine it has two folders: - 9c590f17be2ef53d13bb00be2a - Norton Backups I can't open the first one (it says I don't have permissions) but the second one contains a bunch of files with the .v2i extension. Any help would be appreciated?

Running the HVRemote - http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/HVRemote - tool seems to have yielded some positive results, and all tests on the server pass (firewall, permissions, etc), but client-side things are not working.     Hello. I am just getting Apache 2.2 running on Fedora 13 Beta 64-bit. I am running into issues setting my per-user directory. The goal is to make localhost/~user map to /home/~user/public_html. I think that I have the permissions right because I have 755 to /home/~user, and I have 755 to /home/~user/public_html/ and I have 777 for all contents inside of /home/~user/public_html/ recursively set. My mod_userdir configuration looks like this: <IfModule mod_userdir.c> # # UserDir is disabled by default since it can confirm the presence # of a username on the system (depending on home directory # permissions). # UserDir disabled root UserDir enabled huckphin # # To enable requests to /~user/ to serve the user's public_html # directory, remove the "UserDir disabled" line above, and uncomment # the following line instead: # UserDir public_html The error that I am seeing in the error log is this: [Sat May 15 09:54:29 2010] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] (13)Permission denied: access to /~huckphin/index.html denied When I login as the apache user, I know that /~huckphin does not exist, and this is not what I want. So, first off, you said that you assume that I have the userdir module enabled, but I am not sure what that means exactly. That could be part of the problem. I do have the Module loaded, using the LoadModule directive.
