  • Pointer to 2D array. Why does this example work?

    I have this code example, but I don't understand why changing the values in the array inside outputUsingArray() are changing the original array. I would have expected changing the values of the array in outputUsingArray() would only be for a local copy of the array. Why isn't that so?     Hey everyone, I am a little confused after reading this thread on the revisions to the iPhone Developer Agreement. While it lists the languages that are permitted, I don't understand what classifies as falling under what is banned. Does this include wrapper classes? What if the code is written in Objective C but is not an official Apple class/library? I'm wondering about things like: Three20 from Facebook SQLite Wrappers such as this one Charting / Graphing Libraries If anyone could clarify this, I'd greatly appreciate it.

    Hi, I'm using the Scanner class in java to go through a a text file and extract each sentence. I'm using the setDelimiter method on my Scanner to the regex: Pattern.compile("[\\w]*[\\.|?|!][\\s]") This currently seems to work, but it leaves the whitespace at the end of the sentence. Is there an easy way to match the whitespace at the end but not include it in the result? I realize this is probably an easy question but I've never used regex before so go easy :)

    StackOverflow implements it like this: <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://sstatic.net/so/all.css?v=4542"> Every time the referenced files change, the href attribute of the link tag is updated in the HTML code, thus supporting caching and updated referenced files. My question - how do you retrieve the subversion version of that css file to include in the link? Subversion keywords only tell you the revision of the file you are currently in. I'm working with PHP/CodeIgniter + jQuery.

If there are any succession of these, I want to split on that too and not include any in the result. So, for when splitting the following: "Foo\r\n\r\nDouble Windows\r\rDouble OS X\n\nDouble Unix\r\nWindows\rOS X\nUnix" The result would be: ['Foo', 'Double Windows', 'Double OS X', 'Double Unix', 'Windows', 'OS X', 'Unix'] What regex should I use?

    We have a large web-app with hundreds of jsps pages. To avoid repeating markup up blocks we are considering making use of struts tiles. Now it seems messy to have a combination of both <t:insertTemplate template="/WEB-INF/templates/xxxxx.jsp"> and <%@ include file="xxxxx.jsp"%> statements so we are considering converting all includes statements to insertTemplates (whether or not the template includes any tile syntax) Has anyone had any experience with using tiles 100% for jsp includes?
