    I think the answer to this question should be: No. However I hope to be corrected. I'd like to edit our database using a mixture of YAML markup + Doctrine createTables() and Navicat editing. Can I maintain the inheritance which is marked up?     First of all apologies for the below question. Am from a Testing background for the past 8 years and very novice to Jmeter. I went through the Jmeter site, and ran a sample recording using the jmeter.apache.org site and it went fine. I want to test my knowledge and understanding. So, I did the following way. Created a thread group. Added a config element HTTP Default Requests with server name as mail.google.com. Added a Sampler as HTTP request, set the METHOD to POST and gave the username and password, and i ran the test. When i see the Results Viewer, i could see the login page of gmail, I need to know how to pass my username and password and simulate the clicking of Submit button and getting the next page. Please help, am very new and will really appreciate if it's explained as simple as possible.

    I have two servers, server1 and server2 on same network but require username and password to be mapped. server1 has a text file as C:\Users\output.txt. I want to create and schedule a batch script on server1, which should copy and replace output.txt file from server1 to server2 at path E:\data\output.txt on daily basis. I don't want to map server2 manually every time I start my computer nor do I want to enter my username and password each time.     I always wondered what's the purpose of the rotate instructions some CPUs have (ROL, RCL on x86, for example). What kind of software makes use of these instructions? I first thought they may be used for encryption/computing hash codes, but these libraries are written usually in C, which doesn't have operators that map to these instructions. Has anybody found an use for them? Why where they added to the instructions set?

    Hi I am trying to get a better understanding of relational databases and there is something that I keep bumping into and don't understand.Let's take this two tables: In this case Login.ID is the primary key with auto_increment set and Profile.ID_LOGIN is the Foreign KEY.When a user is created and it's username and password is stored in the login database does the ID coresponding to the curesnt username and password get automaticly added into ID_LOGIN or do I have to create an SQL statement to do this? If I have to create a SQL statement how should I aproach adding the ID_LOGIN to make sure I am adding it corectly?

    I'm currently trying to write a script that gets messages from my gmail account but I'm noticing a problem. If poplib loops through a message in my inbox it will never loop through it again.   • Keystore and Aliases - is there a use to multiple aliases?

    When exporting a signed Android application using Eclipse, is there a purpose to using multiple aliases? According to the official guide about signing, it's recommended that you sign all applications with the same certificate to allow your applications to share data, code and be updated in modular fashion. Assuming that "alias", "key" and "certificate" are essentially interchangeable in this context, is there a reason why someone would want to use different aliases for all their applications? The only reason I can think of is that it adds more security to your applications, in the sense that a compromised key/password doesn't compromise everything. Are there other reasons? Also, is the generated key dependent on the name of the alias? In other words, if you change the name of the alias but not the password, would the generated certificate be different? Thanks.

In JavaSE i would do the following: Class.forName("com.mysql.jdbc.Driver"); Connection dbConnection = DriverManager.getConnection(URL, USER, PASSWORD); I read that I can't do this in Android because there is not a JDBC Driver (there is a "SQLite.JDBCDriver" but it is not documented and not recommended). ')); Is that a secure way to make a change?

Now I want to add another if statement that flashes an error if the email had been already taken, and redirects the user to the root_path I'm not very sure how to do this, Any suggestions? (and where to put that if statement?)

  • Secure Webservice?

    I'm trying to create a secure webservice (that provides simple database data) with PHP that can be connected to through my Silverlight application. I don't know enough about PHP to be able to see another way to do this. The webservice should only be accessible through the client, and only with the proper username/password. The only two ways I can imagine to do this would be by passing the username/password hash via URL, or use a "hidden form" and do it via POST_. I'm just trying to get past this point, I'm the sole developer on this project and I'm just trying to get past this PHP webservice part so I can get back to being an application programmer :) Normally, I would learn PHP, but I'm on the clock, so I'm just looking for a point in the right direction on how to achieve this!
