    We have a Business Listings directory hosted on IIS 6 Windows 2003. Our competitors crawl and steal our content and customers. We have tried IP blocking using honeypot URLs and log parsing without much success. Is anyone aware of a network device or a proxy server that I can run in front of my web server to minimize this issue? All suggestions are highly appreciated.

  • Website including pages/pages to my site

    Hello.. I have my site on index.html made in html+css., at my index.html i have this div id "content", where you put in main content to the page, and there's a link at the menubar that src to page2.php. When you press on the link it goes to the page2.php, but i want it to display inside the < div "content". In page2 i have Hello this is a test, in a echo.. I dont want to use frames.. should i split up my design on index.php, and then on page2.php include top & footer? or is there another way

  • Website redirect during maintenece but still with testing acces

    I have an online store that i have recently re-written most of and would like to upload it to my server. While the maintenance is taking place, i would like to redirect all visitors to an "under construction" page. (easily done with php or apache htacess etc...) The issue is that I would like to test everything when i upload it so i still need access while blocking everyone else. I was thinking some php page that is open to all with a cookie flag i could set for just myself? What is the best way to do this? Thanks jme

  • Switch front-end's of a website after X amount of hits

    Sorry about the title - not sure what to call this one. A client of mine would like to redirect users to different front-ends of his eCommerce site based on a hit-counter (possibly a timer?). important: -The content is moderately different in the two sites, enough to consider them two different websites. Knowing this client he will likely add more drastic content changes and other front-ends. So for this question consider the content to be -This site has a rather large back-end. With affiliate networking, multiple payment gateways, order-tracking, and several other features in the works. It is essential that these two front-ends have identical back-end functionality I know that if it was just a simple CSS swap this would be as simple as an if statement that ran off some kind of counter stored in a DB... but the different HTML markup is throwing me for a loop. Q: How can I serve two different front-ends (HTML/CSS) based on a hit counter? Also, I don't have any clue what to tag this one as...

  • Using a WCF Message Inspector to extend AppFabric Monitoring

    I read through Ron Jacobs post on Monitoring WCF Data Services with AppFabric http://blogs.msdn.com/b/endpoint/archive/2010/06/09/tracking-wcf-data-services-with-windows-server-appfabric.aspx What is immediately striking are 2 things – it’s so easy to get monitoring data into a viewer (AppFabric Dashboard) w/ very little work.  And the 2nd thing is, why can’t this be a WCF message inspector on the dispatch side.     This post is to provide some useful information about the tools typically used by Oracle ETPM implementations for performance tuning and analysis.   This includes tools to monitor and gather performance information and statistics on the Database, Application Server, and Client (browser).  Enterprise Monitoring Tools Oracle Enterprise Manager - OEM Grid Control comes with a comprehensive set of performance and health metrics that allow monitoring of key components in your environment such as applications, application servers, databases, as well as the back-end components on which they rely, such as hosts, operating systems and storage. Tools for the Database Oracle Diagnostics Pack Automatic Workload Repository (AWR)  - this tool gets statistics from memory abut the Time Model or DB Time, Wait Events, Active Session History and High Load SWL queries Automatic Database Diagnostic Monitor (ADDM) - This self-diagnostic software is built into the database.  It examines and analyzes data captured in AWR to dertermine possible performance issues.  It locates the root cause of the issue, provides recommendations for correcting the issues and qualifies the expected benefit. Oracle Database Tuning Pack SQL Tuning Advisor - This enables you to submit one or more SQL statements as input and receive output in the form of specific advice or recommendations on how to tune statements.  The recommendation relates to collection of statistics on objects, creation on new indexes and restructuring of SQL statements. SQL Access Advisor - This enables you to optimize data access paths of SQL queries by recommending a proper set of materialized views, indexes and partitions for a given SQL workload. Tools for the Application Server Weblogic Console - is a web-based, user interface used to configure and control a set of WebLogic servers or clusters (i.e. a "domain").  In any logical group of WebLogic servers there must exist one admin server, which hosts the WebLogic Admin console application and manages the associated configuratoin files. WebLogic Administrators will use the Administration Console for a number of tasks, including: Starting and stopping WebLogic servers or entire clusters.     I manage a website that was hacked a few months ago (I wasn't the webmaster then), it was running on Joomla. I have manages to redo the website with custom codes (php/mysql), but it still some visitors still complain that their AV blocks them from viewing the website. I have also cleared the former database and anything related to it, contents and the likes. My website is here I have looked for malwares in Google Webmaster but it says there are non Also I checked with Google Safe Browsing Please what could the problem be.
