• local RTP port unreachable when using mjsip/jmf

  Hello, I create a sip session with mjsip to an external voip provider. Then I transmit a test wav file over rtp to the provider using RtpManager. The program runs with no errors and I answer the sip call. However, no audio is transmitted. When I diagnose the network traffic with wireshark, I see a bunch of RTP traffic from my localhost (behind some kind of nat) to the voip provider and nothing back. After a while I get the ICMP error "Destination unreachable (Port unreachable)" from the provider to my localhost. The software linphone works using the same localhost and voip provider - though it is using a different sip stack. Any suggestions? Thanks

• SharePoint Workflow: how to update the item without triggering the workflow again

  I have a SharePoint workflow which is running whenever the item changes. The workflow communicates with an external REST service. If the service returns a string, I want to update one of the field values with that string. Unfortunately, this update will trigger another instance of the workflow for this item once the current workflow terminates. I end up with an infinite loop! How I can prevent this from happening? SPListItem has Update(), UpdateOverwriteVersion(), and SystemUpdate() methods but none of them seem to prevent subsequent workflows from being triggered. I could inspect the last modified timestamp of the item and terminate the workflow if the last update happened within a certain timespan, but I am looking for a more robust solution.

• How do I unescape HTML entities in a string in Python 3.1?

  I have looked all around and only found solutions for python 2.6 and earlier, NOTHING on how to do this in python 3.X. (I only have access to Win7 box.) I HAVE to be able to do this in 3.1 and preferably without external libraries. Currently, I have httplib2 installed and access to command-prompt curl (that's how I'm getting the source code for pages). Unfortunately, curl does not decode html entities, as far as I know, I couldn't find a command to decode it in the documentation. YES, I've tried to get Beautiful Soup to work, MANY TIMES without success in 3.X. If you could provide EXPLICIT instructions on how to get it to work in python 3 in MS Windows environment, I would be very grateful. So, to be clear, I need to turn strings like this: Suzy &amp; John into a string like this: "Suzy & John".

• Embedding icon in .exe with py2exe, visible in Vista?

  Hello, I've been trying to embed an icon (.ico) into my "compyled" .exe with py2exe. Py2Exe does have a way to embed an icon: windows=[{ 'script':'MyScript.py', 'icon_resources':[(1,'MyIcon.ico')] }] And that's what I am using. The icon shows up fine on Windows XP or lower, but doesn't show at all on Vista. I suppose this is because of the new Vista icon format, which can be in PNG format, up to 256x256 pixels. So, how can I get py2exe to embed them into my executable, without breaking the icons on Windows XP? I'm cool with doing it with an external utility rather than py2exe - I've tried this command-line utility to embed it, but it always corrupts my exe and truncates its size for some reason.

  Hello, I have setup a Postfix mail server for incoming mails that is required to never reply to external enviornment i.e it will accept all incoming mails and never reply anything that can be used as a trace to locate and verify it's existence. I have implemented the Postfix anti-UCE configuration by using the following settings in postfix main.cf for countering spam generating mail servers: 'smtpd_recipient_restrictions = reject_rbl_client zen.spamhaus.org, reject_rbl_client bl.spamcop.net' Now i have certain doubts/questions: How Postfix is able to communicate with Black hole list providers i.e How this whole process works?, e.g here they are zen.spamhaus.org, bl.spamcop.net, so that i can test the performance of whole process. Can a header be added in the received mail regarding the status of the results of the above verification process, since i will not reply any traces from my incoming mail receiving Postfix server, so i need this feature?   Has anyone used Watir with IronRuby successfully? I am getting an error that the required file 'Watir' was not found. What path do I need to set to get this file to work in IronRuby? For some reason my igem command is not working: C:\DevTools\IronRuby\ironruby\Merlin\Main\Languages\Ruby\Scripts\binigem instal l watir '"C:\DevTools\IronRuby\ironruby\Merlin\Main\Languages\Ruby\Scripts\bin\ir.exe"' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. I am using 0.9 version of Ironruby. I remember that in 0.9 you have to indicate the ir tool: I used the following and got the error again! • PHP Flush: How Often and Best Practises

  I just finished reading this post: http://developer.yahoo.com/performance/rules.html#flush and have already implemented a flush after the top portion of my page loads (head, css, top banner/search/nav). Is there any performance hit in flushing? Is there such a thing as doing it too often? What are the best practices? If I am going to hit an external API for data, would it make sense to flush before hand so that the user isn't waiting on that data to come back, and can at least get some data before hand?   I'm getting data where the database is hidden behind a WCF service. Is it possible to use Entity Framework in a scenario where I have custom objects coming from a web service? (No access to the external database, and no current plans for insert/update/delete logic) Starting with an empty EF model and adding an entity I get this error on compile: No mapping specified for instances of the EntitySet and AssociationSet in the EntityContainer .. Is it possible to make an entity this way, and fill it with data received from an object? (In this case a WCF, but could also be a predefined model class/xml data) If the web service retured a Customer object I could do something like this with a dataset: Make an unbound table and do a loop through the customer properties adding them to a temp row, add it with tbl_Customer.Addtbl_CustomerRow(customerRow) to get my view filled. thanks, nakori

  Hi all, Let's say we have such site structure: App_LocalResources       |- A.aspx.resx       |- B.aspx.resx A.aspx B.aspx Now I use HttpContext.GetLocalResourceObject("~/A.aspx") in A.aspx.cs, and it works fine. But if I use HttpContext.GetLocalResourceObject("~/A.aspx") in B.aspx.cs, it throws an exception: The resource class for this page was not found. Please check if the resource file exists and try again. Exception Details: System.InvalidOperationException: The resource class for this page was not found. Please check if the resource file exists and try again. How can I resolve this problem? I want to read the local resources from an external page, and I don't want to read the .resx file myself. • Easy GWT Animations

  I've started looking at some external GWT libraries for animations, but they all seemd a bit overkill for what i want. I'm trying to mimic JQuery Tools scrollabel plugin in GWT for a scrolling navigation (think iphone). User clicks an item, page scrolls to the child panel of that item, which may also have children that can be clicked. All I need to do is slide a div, x number of pixels backwards and forwards over some fixed rate of time The only real tutorial i've found on writing animations in GWT is 2 years old and seems a bit verbose, (managing individual frames etc...) Is there no simpler solution for easily moving a div from one position to another without requiring all the extra cruft? Forgive me but I'm coming from jQuery coding that has this built in simply and easily.

  Originally the site was set up using a Website project which ended up not working for various reasons. I'm trying to make it work as a web application project and have started from the ground up with a new project. I have looked online and not found a good resource that explains some of the "simple" things that are taken for granted when it's a website project. Some things specifically: How am I specifying the external sql database that the membership site should use? Is it possible to set privileges on a folder and require authentication when accessing that content or does each page need to check for itself? Once again, I'm looking for some resources I can use as I move forward as opposed to answers to specific questions (although those are welcome as well).

  Hello, I'm looking for a way to perform clustering separately on matrix rows and than on its columns, reorder the data in the matrix to reflect the clustering and putting it all together. The clustering problem is easily solvable, so is the dendrogram creation (for example in this blog or in "Programming collective intelligence"). However, how to reorder the data remains unclear for me. Eventually, I'm looking for a way of creating graphs similar to the one below using naive Python (with any "standard" library such as numpy, matplotlib etc, but without using R or other external tools).

• Apache Ant Build command "Access Denied"

  Hey! I am trying to get ant installed and actually already did following this instructions however, I get this error: Buildfile: build.xml does not exist! Build failed which it says there I might get so I just tried executing the next command it says I should(since I'm under Windows it's this one): build -Ddist.dir=<C:\Ant> dist anyway I get "access denied" when hitting enter and I can't figure out why. I also tried build install and build install-lite but I always get that message =/ any ideas why? or what am I doing wrong? Edit Without the < I get a: 'build' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. Edit2 Well, my ANT_HOME is in C:\Ant and I'm trying to run the command while placing myself on that folder, isn't that correct?

• Java apache poi setting the cell formula

  I am try to set a cell formulat that references cells from other workbooks. However, when I open the programmatically generated workbook, the formula cells show up as #REF!. I print out the formulas that were generated in a log. If I cut and paste those into the cells, the numbers from the external workbooks is pulled in. I want to do something very very similar for a site I'm building. ShareThis offers a widget that does the same thing but it's branded and external. I'm looking for a pure Ruby solution. A gem containing a module that could be included in a Rails ApplicationHelper class would be perfect. Suggestions appreciated before I go reinventing the wheel!

• Axapta 2009 WCF service

  I am trying to add a service reference to axapta 2009. All is working well, its a simple web method(external webservice) that gets executed on the server tier(necessary, otherwise clr interop error) But I've ran into the following problems : is it possible to close the proxy one way or another? Because this option is not available in the generated service object in AX (only the webmethods and a tostring). at a certain moment, i ran into a service with faulted state. Normally, you create the service object again, but this didnt solve anything, until i restarted the AOS. Is this normal behaviour? Is the service object cached or something like that on server side? Thx in advance.

• Create hyperlink to some text in NSTextView

  I can create a hyperlink to some url in an NSTextView using the "Link Panel". Or I can add a link manually using the NSLinkAttributeName attribute of NSAttributedString. I don't want to make a hyperlink to some external url though, I want to be able to create a hyperlink to some text within the NSTextView. Do you know how in Pages you can set some text as a Bookmark, and then you can make a hyperlink to that bookmark? Any ideas or examples of how to go about that?

  I have a requirement in our web app. to allow users to drag an image from an external site and drop it in a text editor they have open in our app. This is, as you'd expect, to let them embed the image in the document (its a rich text editor). In IE 8 this functionality appears to be broken. If I drag/drop, IE uses a relative URL for the 'src' tag on the image - which means I cannot then download the file and store it since I dont know the full address (eg: '../../imgs/myImage.png') Safari and Firefox do not do this; they provides the fully-qualified address (eg: www.mysite.com/imgs/myImage.png). Is this a bug in IE or just WebKit/Mozilla going the extra mile?

• Excel - Looping through data till it finds the right one

  I'm pulling data from one Excel table into another using an IF statement. I want it to check two fields and if it is a match I want it to print something and if it doesn't then I want it to continue searching. If there is no absolute match then leave the field blank. I believe I'm running into an syntax issue but after numerous iterations I can't get it to pull everything over. • Powershell script to create scheduled tasks from csv file

I have created the file from existing schedule's I have loaded up the csv file, piped it to a select, and retreived all the info that I require from the csv file. However I am not sure on how to pass these results on to a external non powershell command. • Lazarus: Can't find unit [unit] used by [program]

  I'm trying to use an external library (wingraph) in a simple program. I have .o and .ppu files. I added the directory that contains them to the list of both "Other Unit Files" and "Include Files" paths under Project-Compiler Options. When building, I still get the error "Can't find unit wingraph used by [program]". The library is Windows specific and I'm compiling on Windows, too. What should I do to solve the problem? Note that I don't have extensive knowledge about Pascal itself nor its tools. I'm just trying to quickly help someone start using the library.

• Reputable geo-ip location Services

  Who are some of the reputable and/or stable geo-ip location service providers? I'm specing out an application that needs this functionality, and whenever I google geo-ip I get a ton of hits, but it's hard to tell who the legit providers are and who the fly-by-night folks are. Ideally I'd like something that can run without a call to an external API (i.e. regular database updates), but would be interested in hearing about experience with providers who offer live/http services. If it ran in PHP that would be great, but so long as it could run in a *nix environment that's fine. I'd prefer a paid service from a reputable provider than an awesome free service that could vanish tomorrow (free services are welcome, just convince me they're not going to vanish).

• IPC::Open3 Fails Running Under Apache

  I have a module that uses IPC::Open3 (or IPC::Open2, both exhibit this problem) to call an external binary (bogofilter in this case) and feed it some input via the child-input filehandle, then reads the result from the child-output handle. The code works fine when run in most environments. However, the main use of this module is in a web service that runs under Apache 2.2.6. And under that environment, I get the error: Cannot fdopen STDOUT: Invalid argument This only happens when the code runs under Apache. Previously, the code constructed a horribly complex command, which included a here-document for the input, and ran it with back-ticks. THAT worked, but was very slow and prone to breaking in unique and perplexing ways. I would hate to have to revert to the old version, but I cannot crack this.
