• Can't check more than one RadioButton across multiple items in a Treeview

  I’m using a TreeView control to present a list of Questions. Using the Prism.DataTemplateSelector, I'm loading a View (.xaml file) that represents a single Question into each node in the TreeView. In the View for that question is a ListBox containing RadioButtons (one for each item in a Picklist object that the ListBox is bound to). The radio buttons work as expected for the question, but when I check a RadioButton on another node/question in the TreeView, the check for the button in the Question I was editing before disappears. In other words, I'm only able to check one RadioButton in the whole list of Questions/Items bound to the containing TreeView. How do I group the RadioButtons in the ListBox to the scope of the single question instead of all the questions in the TreeView.

• Apache and multiple tomcats proxy

  I have 1 apache server and two tomcat servers with two different applications. I want to use the apache as a proxy so that the user can access the application from the same url using different paths. e.g.: localhost/app1 --> localhost:8080/app1 localhost/app2 --> localhost:8181/app2 I tried all 3 mod proxy of apache (mod_jk, mod_proxy_http and mod_proxy_ajp) but the first application is working, whilst the second is not accessible. This is the apache configuration I'm using: ProxyPassMatch ^(/.*\.gif)$ ! ProxyPassMatch ^(/.*\.css)$ ! ProxyPassMatch ^(/.*\.png)$ ! ProxyPassMatch ^(/.*\.js)$ ! ProxyPassMatch ^(/.*\.jpeg)$ ! ProxyRequests Off ProxyPass /app1 ajp://localhost:8009/ ProxyPassReverse /app1 ajp://localhost:8009/ ProxyPass /app2 ajp://localhost:8909/ ProxyPassReverse /app2 ajp://localhost:8909/ With the above, I manage to view the tomcat root application using localhost/app1, but I get "Service Temporarily Unavailable" (apache error) when accessing app2. I need to keep the tomcat servers separate because I need to restart one of the applications often and it is not an option to save both apps on the same tomcat. Can someone point me out what I'm doing wrong? Thank you all.

  I have a model called HeroStatus with the following attributes: id user_id recordable_type hero_type (can be NULL!) recordable_id created_at There are over 100 hero_statuses, and a user can have many hero_statuses, but can't have the same hero_status more than once. A user's hero_status is uniquely identified by the combination of recordable_type + hero_type + recordable_id. What I'm trying to say essentially is that there can't be a duplicate hero_status for a specific user. Unfortunately, I didn't have a validation in place to assure this, so I got some duplicate hero_statuses for users after I made some code changes. For example: user_id = 18 recordable_type = 'Evil' hero_type = 'Halitosis' recordable_id = 1 created_at = '2010-05-03 18:30:30' user_id = 18 recordable_type = 'Evil' hero_type = 'Halitosis' recordable_id = 1 created_at = '2009-03-03 15:30:00' user_id = 18 recordable_type = 'Good' hero_type = 'Hugs' recordable_id = 1 created_at = '2009-02-03 12:30:00' user_id = 18 recordable_type = 'Good' hero_type = NULL recordable_id = 2 created_at = '2009-012-03 08:30:00' (Last two are not a dups obviously. First two are.) So what I want to do is get rid of the duplicate hero_status. Which one? The one with the most-recent date. I have three questions: How do I remove the duplicates using a SQL-only approach? How do I remove the duplicates using a pure Ruby solution? Something similar to this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2790004/removing-duplicate-objects. How do I put a validation in place to prevent duplicate entries in the future?

• Using same onmouseover function for multiple objects

  I'm creating a building game in JavaScript and PHP that involves a grid. Each square in the grid is a div, with an own onmouseover and onmousedown function: for(x=0; x < width; x++) { for(y=0; y < height; y++) { var div = document.createElement("div"); //... div.onmouseclick = function() {blockClick(x, y)} div.onmouseover = function() {blockMouseover(x, y)} game.appendChild(div); } } But, all of the squares seem to have the x and y of the last square that was added. I can sort of see why this is happening - it is making a pointer to x and y instead of cloning the variables - but how could I fix it?   Suppose I have a C(++) function taking an integer, and it is bound to (C)python with python api, so I can call it from python: import c_module c_module.f(10) now, I want to parallelize it. The problem is: how does the GIL work in this case? Suppose I have a queue of numbers to be processed, and some workers (threading.Thread) working in parallel, each of them calling c_module.f(number) where number is taken from a queue. The difference with the usual case, when GIL lock the interpreter, is that now you don't need the interpreter to evaluate c_module.f because it is compiled. So the question is: in this case the processing is really parallel?

• Spring aop multiple pointcuts & advice but only the last one is working

  I have created two Spring AOP pointcuts that are completely separate and will be woven in for different parts of the system. The pointcuts are used in two different around advices, these around-advices will point to the same Java method. How the xml-file looks: <aop:config> <aop:pointcut expression="execution(......)" id="pointcutOne" /> <aop:pointcut expression="execution(.....)" id="pointcurTwo" /> <aop:aspect id="..." ref="springBean"> <aop:around pointcut-ref="pointcutOne" method="commonMethod" /> <aop:aroung pointcut-ref="pointcutTwo" method="commonMethod" /> </aop:aspect> </aop:config> The problem is that only the last pointcut works (if I change the order "pointcutOne" works because it is last). I have gotten it to work by creating one big pointcut, but I would like to have them separate. Any suggestions to why only one of the pointcuts works at a time?

  Hope a few people in here are familiar with JCAPS. Coming from pure j2ee world, it is difficult to digest the deployment model that JCPAS offers. While creating deployment profile, we need to map the resources (such as jdbc, webservice connector) to external systems. External systems are predefined with the target server ip, port, db name, credentials etc(in case of jdbc). So the problem is an EAR built for test environment can not be deployed to production environment. In simpler applications we could store database/credentials etc on to property files and hence EAR built for UAT could be deployed to Production with out any change. Is there a similar strategy available for JCAPS by which EARs built against an environment can be promoted to another seamlessly?

  I am generating a matrix report dynamically using report viewer version 9.0 in visual studio 2010. If i export save and print then it works normally. If there more columns report expands horizontally across mutiple pages. If i give Print option available in the toolbar of the report viewer. The columns are moved to second page which is correct but the row headers (product 1, product 2) should not be repeated in the second page.In the second page report should have all details except the product information. I am also interested to know whether it is the functionality of this version report viewer.

  I have been searching for a solution to this for a while and have not found quite what I need. I have several Git Repositories in a folder on my Mac (OSX 10.6) and would like a script or tool that will loop through all the repositories and let me know if any of them needs "commit"-ing. This is my structure Sites   /project1   /project2   /project3 I want the tool to do a "git status" in Sites/project1, Sites/project2, Sites/project3 and let me know if Sites/project2 and Sites/project3 have changes or new files and needs to be Staged/committed The closest script I found that might be hackable is here: http://gist.github.com/371828 but even that script wouldn't run and I get an error: "syntax error near unexpected token `do" which might have been written for *nix.

• window.requestFileSystem fails/events firing multiple times in PhoneGap Cordova 3

  cordova 3.1.0-0.2.0 Droid Razr M Android 4.1.2 Windows 7 New to PhoneGap/Cordova. Running one of the filesystem demos from http://docs.phonegap.com/en/3.1.0/cordova_file_file.md.html#File. Using "cordova run android" to compile the code and run it on the phone attached via USB. Problem #1: When the app first starts I get alert("1") twice and then nothing else. Problem #2: When I kick of the code via the button onclick I get the following alert pattern: 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 6, 5, 7, 4, 6, 5, 7. Some of that makes sense based on the code flow but most of them are firing twice. I'm suspecting problem #2 is being caused by some asynchronous calls hanging out from the first attempt but no matter how long I wait those events don't fire until I kick of the code via the button. So why is the requestFileSystem call failing even though it is waiting for deviceready and why is the other code getting intermingled?   I have 2 squid servers load-balanced with F5 LTMs set up as a reverse proxy. My problem: origin server A hosts domains 1, 2, and 3 origin server B hosts domains 4 and 5. how can I set up squid so that it will cache all vhosts for both servers? my current config: cache_peer serverA parent 80 0 round-robin no-query originserver login=PASS If I add a second line: cache_peer serverB parent 80 0 round-robin no-query originserver login=PASS it only caches domains on serverB, requests for serverA content generate 404 errors. I don't use squid a whole lot, and all help is appreciated. thanks.

• WPF, Setting property with single value on multiple subcontrols

  I have a parent contentcontrol which displays data via a datatemplate. The datatemplate contains a stackpanel with several usercontols of the same type. I like to set the property only once on the parent control, it must set the value of the property on all the subcontrols. But if there is a way to do it on the stackpanel it's also OK. The template can be changed at runtime and the values need also to be propagated to the new template. My current solution is to implement the property on both parent and subcontrol and use code to propagate the value from the parent to all the subcontrols. My question is: is there a better or other ways of doing this?

• Multiple developers on a Titanium project

  I'm making an iPhone app with Appcelerator Titanium and I want to share the source code with a few more programmers. I will use a SCM repository which at some point might be open to the general public. Now my question is, are there any files which I should not commit to the repository? In project root I can tell that tiapp.xml and mainfest are telling the app GUID, is there any reason for me to keep that private? (this value is also shown many places in the build/ folder) I've added everything in the Resources/ folder. If I skip the build/iphone/build/ folder, will developers still be able to build the project? Side question - When another programmer downloads this code, it seems to me that (s)he has to have the same directory structure as I do? Any workarounds for this?

A typical child specification is as follows: {my_server, {my_server, start_link, [123]}, permanent, 5000, worker, [my_server]} No problems so far. I now want to an add extra gen_server to the supervisor structure, using the same module Module/Fn as above, but different arguments, eg {my_server_2, {my_server, start_link, [123]}, permanent, 5000, worker, [my_server_2]} I thought this would work, but no: =SUPERVISOR REPORT==== 15-Apr-2010::16:50:13 === Supervisor: {local,my_sup} Context: start_error Reason: {already_started,<0.179.0>} Offender: [{pid,undefined}, {name,my_server_2}, {mfa,{my_server,start_link,[]}}, {restart_type,permanent}, {shutdown,5000}, {child_type,worker}] Do the module arguments in the second element of each child specification need to be different ?   I have a dimension (SiteItem) has two important facts: perUserClicks perBrowserClicks however, within this dimension, I have groups of dimensions based on an attribute column (let's call the groups AboveFoldItems, LeftNavItems, OnTheFlyItems, etc.) each have more facts that are specific to that group: AboveFoldItems: eyeTime, loadTime LeftNavItems: mouseOverTime OnTheFlyItems: doesn't have any extra, but may in the future Is the following fact table schema ok? DateKey SessionKey SiteItemKey perUserClicks perBrowserClicks eyeTime loadTime mouseOverTime It seems a little wasteful since only some columns pertain to some dimension keys (the irrelevant facts are left NULL). But... this seems like it would be a common problem, so there should be a common solution for this, right?

  Hi all, I have a question. A client I have been doing some work recently has a range of websites with different login mechanisms. He is looking to slowly migrate to a single sign-on mechanism for his websites (all written in asp.net mvc). I am looking at my options here, so here is a list of requirements: 1) It has to be secure (duh) 2) It needs to support extra user properties over and above the usual name, address stuff (such as money or credits for a user) 3) It has to provide a centralized user management web console for his convenience (I understand that this will be a small project on top of whatever design solution I choose to go for) 4) It has to integrate with the existing websites without re-engineering the whole product (I understand that this depends on the current product implementation). 5) It has to deal with emailing the user when he registers (in order for him to activate his account) 6) It has to deal with activating the user when he clicks the activate me link in the email (I understand that 5 and 6 require some form of email templating system to support different emails per application) I was thinking of creating a library working together with forms authentication that exposes whatever methods are required (e.g. login, logout, activate, etc. and a small restful service to implement activation from email, registration processing etc. Taking into account that loads of things have been left out to make this question brief and to the point, does this sound like a good design? But this looks like a very common problem so arent there any existing projects that I could use? Thanks for reading.

• Jquery click bindings are not working correctly when binding multiple copies

  I seem to have an issue when creating copies of a template and tying the .click() method to them properly. So for example, if the 3rd item's <a> is clicked, ShowObject(5,'T'); is called even though objects[2].Value is successfully being seen as 2. How can I get this to work? The main purpose of this code is to take a variable number of items gotten from a JSON AJAX request, make copies of the item template, and insert those copies into the correct spot on the html page. I decided to do it this way so that I can keep all my HTML in one spot for when I need to change the layout or design of the page, and not have to hunt for the html code in the javascript.

• A better way to delete a list of elements from multiple tables

  I know this looks like a 'please write the code' request, but some basic pointer/principles for doing this the right way should be enough to get me going. I have the following stored procedure: CREATE PROCEDURE `TAA`.`runClean` (IN idlist varchar(1000)) BEGIN DECLARE EXIT HANDLER FOR NOT FOUND ROLLBACK; DECLARE EXIT HANDLER FOR SQLEXCEPTION ROLLBACK; DECLARE EXIT HANDLER FOR SQLWARNING ROLLBACK; START TRANSACTION; DELETE FROM RunningReports WHERE run_id IN (idlist); DELETE FROM TMD_INDATA_INVOICE WHERE run_id IN (idlist); DELETE FROM TMD_INDATA_LINE WHERE run_id IN (idlist); DELETE FROM TMD_OUTDATA_INVOICE WHERE run_id IN (idlist); DELETE FROM TMD_OUTDATA_LINE WHERE run_id IN (idlist); DELETE FROM TMD_TEST WHERE run_id IN (idlist); DELETE FROM RunHistory WHERE id IN (idlist); COMMIT; END $$ It is called by a PHP script to clean out old run history. It is not particularly efficient as you can see and I would like to speed it up. The PHP script gathers the ids to remove from the tables with the following query: $query = "SELECT id, stop_time FROM RunHistory WHERE config_id = $configId AND save = 0 AND NOT(stop_time IS NULL) ORDER BY stop_time"; It keeps the last five run entries and deletes all the rest. So using this query to bring back all the IDs, it determines which ones to delete and keeps the 'newest' five. After gathering the IDs it sends them to the stored procedure to remove them from the associated tables. I'm not very good with SQL, but I ASSUME that using an IN statement and not joining these tables together is probably the least efficient way I can do this, but I don't know enough to ask anything but "how do I do this better?" If possible, I would like to do this all in my stored procedure using a query to gather all the IDs except for the five 'newest', then delete them. Another twist, run entries can be marked save (save = 1) and should not be deleted.
