  • SVNKit's SVNCpoyClient method not working properly

    Hi Everyone, I am having trouble copying file using SVNKit. After copying the files from source to destination files end up one folder above the intended folder. For ex: When copying files from "https://example.com/svn/repos/trunk/project/src/ex.txt" to "https://example.com/svn/repos/branches/PackageN/project/src", files end up in "project" folder inside PackageN while my intention is to move it to "src" folder inside "project.   • jQuery offset() not working in some browsers, on some computers

    I have a problem positioning an element in certain browsers. I'm using the jQuery autocomplete found here. The div containing autocomplete values should be directly under the text box, and line up perfectly. The code sets the css left property of the div by using the left property generated by $(textbox).offset(); After un-packing the code to try and fix my problem, I get this: var a = $(textbox).offset(); element.css({ width: typeof e.width == "string" || e.width > 0 ? e.width : $(textbox).width(), top: a.top + textbox.offsetHeight, left: a.left }).show(); This seems like it should work, and it does work in Firefox. It doesn't work in IE8, Chrome. The top position is always correct, but the sometimes the div is too far to the left, or too far to the right. On different computers (all with Windows XP), it works in IE8... how can this be? I've also tested it on my Mac, OS 10.5. It works in Firefox, but not Safari. I've disabled plug-ins, changed screen resolutions, re-sized windows... It just inconsistently works in some places sometimes. Can anyone think of something I'm missing?

    I have this code where I am using jQuery to navigate to the next page, because I want some effects to take place before that happens. The problem is, that everything after the prevent.Default(); doesn't seem to work! $("a").click(function(event){ event.preventDefault(); $(".content-center").animate({height: "0px"}, 500); navigate($(this).attr('href')); }); I need things to happen in that order, so that the animation happens and once it's complete - load the next page...   • jQuery ui Accordion degrades in IE6 or IE7, but is working in IE8

    There are two accordions on my page, with custom accordion CSS in another file, differentiated by class and ID names so as not to conflict with each other. The accordions don't show up at all, they just degrade to showing all the content at once, as if all the accordion styling is gone. The accordions are both called around the middle of the page, and there's no difference if they are loaded with $(document).ready. What should I check for in the CSS files? There are no inline-block uses. I am using jQuery 1.3.2.min and jQuery ui 1.7.2, so I'm assuming the autoHeight set to false won't make a difference... This is being used inside a Symfony-based site. Works fine in FF, IE8, Chrome.     Hello, I'm using NSFetchedResultsController to fetch Message entities with Core Data. I want my tableview to group the messages by an attribute called ownerName. This works fine in the sense that I get a proper UI dispalying appropriately named sections. I can achieve this with the code below: NSSortDescriptor *sortDescriptor = [[NSSortDescriptor alloc] initWithKey:@"ownerName" ascending:NO]; NSArray *sortDescriptors = [[NSArray alloc] initWithObjects:sortDescriptor, nil]; [fetchRequest setSortDescriptors:sortDescriptors]; NSFetchedResultsController *fetchedResultsController = nil; fetchedResultsController = [[NSFetchedResultsController alloc] initWithFetchRequest:fetchRequest managedObjectContext:[appDelegate managedObjectContext] sectionNameKeyPath:@"ownerName" cacheName:@"Messages"] What'd I'd like to do now is have the section with the newest message at the top; exactly how it works with the Messages app on iPhone currently. I've tried adding a second sort descriptor and putting it in an array of sort descriptors and passing that to the fetchRequest but it doesn't appear to be affecting anything. Here is the 2nd sort descriptor that I used. NSSortDescriptor *idDescriptor = [[NSSortDescriptor alloc] initWithKey:@"createdAt" ascending:YES]; If anyone could provide some insight into this I would greatly appreciate it.

    I'm using a java process to spawn many other java processes using Runtime.exec(cmd) where cmd is like the following: java -cp "MyJar.jar" pkg.MyClass some-more-arguments running the same command from the command line works fine in windows and linux, however when my spawning java process calls the command via Runtime.exec it works in windows but not in linux. in linux i get Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: pkg/MyClass any ideas?

    Hi, I'm trying to set up very basic drag and drop for my NSTableView. The table view has a single column (with a custom cell). The column is bound to an NSArrayController, and the array controller's content array is bound to an NSArray on my controller object. The data displays fine in the table. I've looked at a bunch of examples and I can't figure out anything I'm doing wrong. Could the problem be that I'm using a custom cell? Is there something I'm supposed to override in the cell subclass to enable this functionality? EDIT: Confirmed. Switching the custom cell for a regular NSTextFieldCell made dragging work. Now, how do I make drag and drop work with my custom cell?

    I have a base class, defined as below (I'm also using DevExpress components): public abstract partial class BaseFormClass<R> : XtraForm where R : DataRow { ... } Contrary to what I've read from elsewhere, I'm still able to design this class. I didn't have to create a concrete class from it to do so. But, when I create a concrete class descended from it (as below), that class won't work in the designer. public partial class ConcreteFormClass : BaseFormClass<StronglyTypedRow> { ... } I get this message: The designer could not be shown for this file because none of the classes within it can be designed. The designer inspected the following classes in the file: ConcreteFormClass --- The base class 'BaseFormClass' could not be loaded. Ensure the assembly has been referenced and that all projects have been built. Has anyone seen this before? Any sort of known workaround?

    I am trying to write a custom script that will keep a list of strings in a textarea. Each line of the textarea will be a row from a table. The problem I have is how to work the script to allow for adding, updating, or deleting rows based on a submit. So, for instance, I currently have 3 rows in the database: john sue mark I want to be able to delete sue and add richard and it will delete the row with sue and insert a row for richard. I am not getting any functions to work when I edit the contents of the textarea. Thanks!

  • :focus in IE not working

    Hey, I've created a site with CSS that requires the :focus pseudo class. I change the 'filter' and 'background-image' effects when a textbox is selected (i.e. has focus). This works in Chrome/FF, but doesn't seem to work in IE8 (and, presumable, previous versions if IE). I tried to look for answers, and have tried to use :active - but that doesn't work. Is there a way of changing attributes such as 'filter' using psuedo-classes? Failing that, can I do it in JS with the OnClick event? Thanks

  • Working with Hibernate Queries

    I am new to hibernate queries, and trying to get a grasp on how everything works. I am using Hibernate 3 with Netbeans 6.5. I have a basic project set up and have been playing around with how to do everything. I started with essentially a search query. Where the user can enter values into one or more fields. The table would be Person with the columns first_name, middle_name, last_name for the sake of the example. The first way I found was to have a method that took firstName, middleName, and lastName as parameters: Session session = HibernateUtil.getSessionFactory().getCurrentSession(); Transaction tx = session.beginTransaction(); String query = "from Person where (first_name = :firstName or :firstName is null) "+ "and (middle_name = :middleName or :middleName is null) " "and (last_name = :lastname or :lastName is null)"; Query q = session.createQuery(query); q.setString("firstName", firstName); q.setString("middleName", middleName); q.setString("lastName", lastName); List<Person> results = (List<Person>) q.list(); This did not sit well with me, since it seemed like I should not have to write that much, and well, that I was doing it wrong. So I kept digging and found another way: Session session = HibernateUtil.getSessionFactory().getCurrentSession(); Transaction tx = session.beginTransaction(); Criteria crit = session.createCriteria(Person.class); if (firstName != null) { crit.add(Expression.ge("firstName", firstName); } if (middleName != null) { crit.add(Expression.ge("middleName", middleName); } if (lastName != null) { crit.add(Expression.ge("lastName", lastName); } List<Person> results = (List<Person>) crit.list(); So what I am trying to figure out is which way is the preferred way for this type of query? Criteria or Query? Why? I am guessing that Criteria is the preferred way and you should only use Query when you need to write it by hand for performance type reasons. Am I close?
