  • HTTPS only on specific page with .htaccess

    Hi all I have a URL such as http://www.domain.com/index.php?p=register. I want to redirect that to use HTTPS (SSL) with .htaccess, but only on this, and a couple of other pages (the login page, etc), but not the entire site. The URLs don't point to directories, but are used to dynamically include different files. Can someone give me a pointer or an example of how to get a single page redirect to HTTPS please?     I'm trying to trim a few lines from a file. I know exactly how many lines to remove (say, 2 from the top), but not how many total lines are in the file. So I tried this straightforward solution: $ wc -l $FILENAME 119559 my_filename.txt $ LINES=$(wc -l $FILENAME | awk '{print $1}') $ tail -n $(($LINES - 2)) $FILENAME > $OUTPUT_FILE The output is fine, but what happened to LINES?? $ wc -l $OUTPUT_FILE 119557 my_output_file.txt $ echo $LINES 107 Hoping someone can help me understand what's going on.

    I'm fairly new to OOP in PHP, I've made a couple of basic scripts but nothing impressive. All I've really taken from it is that it would probably be easier just make a collection of functions and include them. The structure of classes seems to just confuse what was otherwise a simple process. And in collating everything into a class it doesn't really add any functionality. So I'm clearly missing something. Could someone explain what functionality is added by creating classes

  • Help with google maps api, user allowed marker map

    Hi im looking (but cant find) for sample app that will show me how to implement UITableView with custom UITableViewCell that is similar to one in the Things app, with smooth animation from read-only view (that hides empty cells) to editable view that shows only cells that can be edited, and custom cell with multiline input with small image.   • UItextView in UITableview, autocorrection bubble not visible

    Hello! I have a UITableView with custom cells. The cells containing one UITextView each and the cell is resizing during user type text in the TextView. My problem is when user is on first row in a TextView autocorrection bubbles wont be visible in the current cell. Is there any workaround or can someone point me to another direction?
