    Hey guys, I am working on a Natural Language parser which examines a sentence in english and extracts some information like name, date etc. for example: "Lets meet next tuesday at 5 PM at the beach." So the output will be something like : "Lets meet 15/09/2009 at 1700 hr at the beach" So basically, what i want to know is that is there any framework or library available for JAVA to do these kind of operations like parsing dates from a sentence and give a output with some specified format.     According to the axe book (2nd edition), we can use to_s as follows. class Song def to_s "Song" end end song = Song.new() song.to_s But, it doesn't give me anything, in order to print something to the stdout, I should run def to_s p "Song" end Is there any change since the ruby 1.8.2 when the book was written for?     Find the errors from following C function : char* f(int i) { int i; char buffer[20]; switch ( i ) { 1: strcpy( buffer, "string1"); 2: strcpy( buffer, "string2"); 3: strcpy( buffer, "string3"); default: strcpy(buffer, "defaultstring"); } return buffer; } this is c funtion not C++, I think it has to do with type conversion my compiler give warning that declaration of int i shadows a parameter.

    HI.I searched this question inform and I found solution to change column property Unique Index.Now If I try to insert same record cmd.ExecuteNonQuery() gives error that record exist ,but how can use this exception to give user a message that record exist and must enter new one ? I am trying to make some thing like if(cmd.ExecuteNonQuery() !=true ) { MessageBox.Show("User Exists"); } But I dont know what returns cmd.ExecuteNonQuery() ? Or I must get records using reader in table and compare them with text in Textfiel?

    I want to give the user a web-page where he can type some simple SQL. select * from myTable. What I would like is to have the autocompletion area to help typing: sel [selECT] select * f [select * fROM] select * from [select * fROM column1] [select * fROM column2] ... Anybody can suggest if there is a nice open source library for this ? I am not really interested in the SQL (I will have to parse a DSL) I am more interested on a powerful autocompletion text area widget.

    svn diff -rXX:HEAD Will give me a format like this, if there has been a merge between those revisions: Merged /<branch>:rXXX,XXX-XXX or Merged /<branch>:rXXX I'm not very familiar with regex and am trying to put together a pattern which will match all the numbers (merged revision numbers) AFTER matching the "Merged /branch:r" part.
